  • Could not reconnect all network drives

    My laptop is getting the message "Could not reconnect all network drives", at startup. I'm running Windows XP, service pack 3. I have a 'Z' allocated network drive, which is marked 'memory_card '.

    Must this drive be connected?

    If so, what are the steps.

    When I try to open this network drive, I get the message "an error has occurred during reconnection 'Z' (: to \\HP(serial number) \memory_card'."

    All of this makes sense now.

  • message "Could not reconnect all network drives" is an error

    I am using windows 7 Home premium, with a small local LAN supporting 3 PC.  There are 2 stores connected to the network on the LAN for backup (a device) and multimedia data archives (the other device).

    Lately at the start, I always get the message "cannot re - connect all network drives", but explore can access the network drive and view the contents of files on this subject.  the following image illustrates this case:

    Note see the sharing Y: mapped drive that is not connected with a big red X, even though I can access the contents of the folder of this one (pictured above).

    So next, I selected Y: and properties and got the following picture for the reader (bomb box properties coming to slightly overlap the content of the file):

    Now it is said nothing in the drive capacity which should contribute to this (25% of space), but pointed out that only the action get properties has managed to change the y to so-called connection not connected (but still available) by a big X red, supposed to be connected, with a green sticker on the drive icon shows now.

    These 2 images were taken less than 3 minutes apart - the timer it took to snapshot screen not connected, crop the image to remove the spaces empty and save them, and then get the properties one and do the same thing.

    The question is - why windows do this?  It is obviously not something wrong with the devices, and even when it allegedly is 'not connected' the drive mapped a share can still provide content of records of levels 2 and 3 to the bottom of the tree.

  • How files are disconnected and how to reconnect all the?

    How files are disconnected and how to reconnect all?

    The files are disconnected when you move, rename or delete these files (or files that contain) outside of Lightroom. Under Windows, this can also happen if the photo files are on an external drive and drive letter changes.

    If you have moved the photos, the best way to reconnect to them is to bring back them to their previous location.

    Otherwise, you must use the file-> to reconnect.

    Depends on intelligence and enforcement of Samsung Link needs...

    Might be able to create a symbolic link to a local folder (unused) on a local computer and it MIGHT (* could *) can fool the Samsung app.

    symbolic link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753194.aspx

    so...

    Map a network share directory, you can use this command:

    net use \\Server\ShareName

    Then... If you want to access the network share through a location on your C: drive, you'll want to set up a symbolic link:

    mklink /d  C:\Folder\NewShareName \\Server\ShareName

    Now, when you browse to C:\Folder\NewShareName, you'll see the content of \\Server\ShareName...

    Perhaps IF you could point to C:\Folder\NewShareName Samsung
    (* NewShareName shouldn't exist in C:\Folder before running the command "mklink".)

  • How to remove all the drives except 0:0 "Computer1" and re - joining "computer2" all disks

    Hello

    I need to find a way with PowerCLI can I analyze virtual named "machine1" across all the disks on a computer off, and detach all disks except the system disk (0:0).  Next, I would like to re - join these discs "computer2".  Seems to be there should be a way to do this using the Remove Disk command, but I don't know how I would keep track of all the disks as Computer1 can have a different number of disks attached whenever I run this script.  Can anyone help?

    CK

    Try something like that.

    $vmName1 = "vm1.

    $vmName2 = "vm2.

    $vm1 = get-VM-name $vmName1

    $vm2 = get-VM-name $vmName2

    $hd = get-disk hard - VM $vm1

    $cntrl = get-controller SCSI - VM $vm1

    $cntrl0 = $cntrl | where {$_.} {ExtensionData.BusNumber - eq 0}

    $hd | %{

    If ($_.) ExtensionData.ControllerKey - only $cntrl0. ExtensionData.Key - or

    $_. ExtensionData.UnitNumber - no 0) {}

    $vmdkFile = $_. File name

    Remove-hard drive - HDD $_ - confirm: $false

    New-disk-hard - VM $vm2 DiskPath - $vmdkFile - confirm: $false

    }

    }

    Note that the script does not take into account the original SCSI controller, it added the VMDK to the first SCSI controller

  • How can I add network drive folders to a library?

    My music and photos are on a Netgear Readynas Duo with 2 TB of disk.
    This makes them available to all computers on my home network.

    Now, I want to include music and images in my library on my new Windows 7 computer.
    Win 7 indicates records must be indexed, but there is no way to do it.
    The suggestion to make the files available offline will not work with this amount of data.

    You have any suggestions to solve this problem?

    Kermit_If,

    You can check to see if files are missing from the system permissions.

    To add the permission system in a folder

    1. right click on the folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

    2. If you don't see a System under group or user names, click change.

    3. click on Add, type System in the box that appears, and then click check names.

    4. under Matching names, click System, and then click OK until all the dialogs open, you have open are closed.

    You will need rebuild the index once you have made this change.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to extract all the drives SAS/SATA and Ethernet port speed of the link command line?

    Hello

    Do you know if supports Windows OS built in order to extract all the SAS/SATA drives and ports Ethernet link speed?

    i.e. for SATA3 drive it show 6 Gbps, for DIS3 drive it will show 12 Gbps, to present the current link speed.

    i.e. for Ethernet 10 G, it will show 10 Gbit/s while the current connection speed is at 10 Gbps.

    I need the command to create a batch file to run bike test to check all connection speeds are correct in each cycle the system power runs, if the Windows operating system does not support built in order to achieve this, please send us any tool of 3rd - party with the support of the command line to do this.

    Thanks in advance.
