How to record my browsing history in a separate file, before you clean my memory cache

I have a Windows based 30.0 on a desk. I want to 'clean up' my cache, but save my browsing history in a separate file is available for me in the future for reference. I don't know where this information is stored and it doesn't seem to be a menu item to save it like you can with bookmarks.

Glad we helped, thanks for posting back.

I scored cor - el's response as the solution.

May be useful to recall that the nirsoft utilities gives you access to a list of history, but this is no will create or recreate the history of Firefox as for example used for the display of the results in the address bar

  • How to analyze a specific record of the existence of a PDF file before you save it

I created a function of level of folder for saving a file by passing a name and a path.  The problem is that I don't want the user to be able to replace a file of the same name.  I would rather add a version number to its name, so I can keep track of the evolution of the form.

I think of a script to analyze the case of the occurrence of a file and returns something or throws an error.  I've experimented with app.browseForDoc (), but I don't want the dialog box to display.

I would use a / while loop to add a version number and then find the file until I get a return value specific error indicating that the file is missing (or in my case that the name is not already in use).

Finally, a simpler implementation much has been to add a simple time stamp on the file name when registering, it prevents overwritng & bonus, it keeps a record of the evolution of the file over time.

  • How can I save an email as a text file before you delete it my Inbox?

Some emails I want to save on my computer so that I can view without opening to the top of my email. I'm used to be able to do this by registering in a document as a text file folder. (Outlook express). I don't find this capablity in Thunderbird. If it is there, I have not found it.

File | Register under gives you several options. By default, it will save in an .eml file, which will need an e-mail client to display. You can usually save drag-and-drop, but that creates an .eml file too.

You can save as HTML by putting in a file html extension when you do file | Save as.

    This add-on:

offers several options to save one or more messages in different formats.

  • How can I stop the automatic downloading of exe files before you see the size of the file?

When I click on a link of file (for example "setup.exe" or "Setup.zip") of a Web site, on what it asks you where I save the file and indicates the size of the file, but the download has already started in the background before I clicked Save. I have a fast enough connection but limited download allowance if the file is large, I'll cancel it, but a few MB can be downloaded until I can stop it. If I use just click on - > "save link as...» ' then he does not start downloading until I click Save but it don't tell me the file size, I also changed settings of early reading, which did not solve the problem.

You will need to use an external Download Manager that supports this feature.

You can use the FlashGot extension to integrate an external Download Manager in Firefox.

In the Photos of El Capitan how to record a double published in a separate with its own name and the ID file file?

Only by exporting - with Photos (and iPhoto and Aperture) - you can have several versions of an image by duplicating the image (control - D), but this does not create an image file separated until you export - it creates a separate edit list in the database that applies to the original when you watch or export the photos

Photos as it were its predecessors is a non-destructive control Digital Asset Manager (DAM) which does not any changes to files in the database but built a list of validation

  • How to keep the news of marker to separate files when final mix in a single file?

    Hi all

Here's my dilemma, 2 wav files (44/16) recorded in Zoom H2.  I want to merge them as file1 file2 follow in a single continuous file.  So I've created a multitrack session again in CS5.5, then drag and drop the file1 into track 1, File2 in the same way immediately followes file1.

When I look at the individual imported into CS5.5 file1 and file2 (Waveform tab), all markers are there.  But none of the markers are displayed in the markers Panel in multitrack tab, track 1.

In addition, in the multitrack tab, where I have two files in track 1, I can choose files... Export... Multitrack mixer... Duration of the session.  Once completed, the two files will be merged as one as I wanted, but without any of the markers in individual files.

No matter what I tried, the file... Export... Files in the range of markers is grayed out (which would help in my case)?

So, is there a way to preserve the info from marker to separate files when final mix in a single file?

    * I also imported Track1 file1 and file2 to track 2.  Although I can see markers in individual files (Panel tab/markers of waveform), when I drag and drop into multitrack, the markers panel remains empty.  Any ideas?

    * Under the hearing... Preferences... Markers and metadata... all options are checked, except the lock markers and metadata in the timeline.

    Thanks in advance,

    Robert

Copy and paste in waveform must maintain the markers.

    Open the two files.

Select file 2, select all and copy to the Clipboard.

Select file 1, move the played at the end of the file, paste.

  • How to restore my browser history?

I have a computer shared with my boyfriend. I went to search my history of browser to find a site that I forgot to bookmark. It turns out that it had deleted all my history, claiming that it removes automatically after a week. I know that this does not work & I know that it is not configured like this because I am a forgetful person. I really want to come back to my story but I don't know how to do, is it still possible?

    Thank you for your comments.

Sorry, but deleted Bediet is gone and cannot be recovered.  There is no backup storage location, and they are not files as a data recovery program could potentially recover.

I wish I could help, but it cannot be resolved.

    Good luck!

  • How to delete the browsing history just by turning off the computer?

Original title: on windows vista why do Internet sites I have vista does not delete when I turn off my computer

The sites I visit does not delete when I I shut down my computer using Windows vista either on google or yahoo sites?

    Hi MistressCindy,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we are happy to help you.

I understand from the description you want the navigation history to delete on shutdown.

Could you answer a few questions to understand the question:

    1. what web browser do you use?

    2. what version of Internet Explorer you are using?

I suggest trying these methods in Internet Explorer and check.

    (a) open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then click Internet Explorer.

    (b) click on the Tools button, then Internet Options.

    c) under the history of navigation in general tab make sure that Remove navigation to exit history is enabled.

    (d) click on the tab to remove, put check marks in the boxes for history, downloaded and click on delete.

It will be useful. For any Windows questions do not hesitate to get back to us.

  • Where can I set Firefox 7 How should keep my browsing history? I want to keep my history for as long as possible.

I use version 7.0.1 with Windows XP.

I searched high and low on Google and elsewhere to answer this question and I can't find one. There seems not to be a setting at a Toops | Options. Is this one of the entries in: config? This it is, and I change it, will be ignored change?

There is no time limit in versions of Firefox 4 + for the history.

Firefox automatically determines the number of pages can be kept without affecting performance.

You can see the current value through the places.history.expiration.transient_max_pages pref readings only on the subject: config page.
