  Purpose a documentation exercise, I wish I could) 1 load a VI by program 2) determine if the tab control is present, if yes how many tablets and if it has a built-in tab control sequence sequence 3) thanks to tabs, snap the front (FP) and the icon 4) and repeat until done.

  I use "to more specific class" and the node property "Label.ClassID" to try and capture if a tab control is present in VI but nothing helps. Any suggestion, which miss me to access the complete list of controls in the VI?

  My request is to have control tab with multiple pages. I want to add Boolean Quit button in all the pages, but the functionality of the button is the same regardless of the page.

  How has one-button with multiple copies in the façade, so that we can single terminal in the blockdiagram otherwise provide your suggestion to make multiple copies of single control of the front wall.

  who said often before:

  Create your button outside of the tab control, and then move it with the arrow keys (!) on the tab. You can use the "order/group" button in the menu if necessary...

• Inexplicable delay between the evolution of the tab control pages

  I have a strange problem.

  In my program, I use a tab control.

  On a change in the pages of pc immediately once the user clicks on the other page, but on another pc it is delayed (approx. 1 second) until the new page is displayed. The rest of the program works with the same "speed".

  You have an idea why this happens?

  The main program includes a while loop with a delay of 25ms. In the loop, there is a case structure, cases are different pages of the tab control.

  Tabs changing pages require a screen refresh if at least the graphics adapters could make all the difference.

  I want to programmatically create a table of the names of the pages in a tab control.

  See the attached VI for my attempt at this.

  It works, but it runs it changes which page is displayed on the front panel.

  Is it possible to do without changing the page displayed on the front panel?

  I'm quite new to Labview and my company wants me to do some programs for electronics testing. I am currently working on the GUI and I would like three pages in a tab with control buttons control.

  I've only had the Labview 2009 base package, so I can't use the structure of the event.

  If you open my .vi you can see I have a control tab with three pages. On the first page, I had a 'Start' button which should open the next page in the tab control. On the Central page, I have a "Back (back)" button that should go back to the previous page. The button called "Lagre (Save)" should work as a next button and go to the last page. On this page, I have a 'back (Back)', 'Ny test (new test-> go to first page again)' and 'Avslutt (Quit).

  The buttons on the tab control of cases something that I copied an example just to try. It works perfectly, but I can't change the Structure of the event in the example.

  Is it possible to solve with Structure box? Or maybe there are other solutions? Feel free to edit my .vi if you wish

  I made a fundamental change in your VI.  Only the first box in the first tab works, but I guess that you can sort the rest of them.  I hope it helps to start with.

  Looks like you need to use a spreadsheet, it's the kind of thing they are supposed to do.  The product of MS for which is Excel which is part of the office.  If you are looking for a free, try LibreOffice, that you can download from http://www.libreoffice.org/ .  It is almost compatible with Office.

  Use the dynamic Action.
  based on changes in the LOV field (I assume it's a Select list), you can define visible any other section or region.

  It seems that a parameter has been changed on your new tab page. These changes are usually caused by bars of third-party tools or modules. I understand that you would like to know how to reset it. No problem, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise! to keep the comments: config page.
  3. Type browser.newtab.url in the search box to find it on the list.
  4. Double-click on browser.newtab.url and type on: newtab in the window that opens.

  Restart Firefox and open a new tab to ensure that the change has been made. If there is no problem with the plugins please see also: troubleshooting questions with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems

  I use LV8.6 and I have a menu drop-down selector to choose what unit I want to test.  This allows the page that controls the unit and disables others.  What I want to do is when the unit is selected, the page is enabled (which I did) and the page to be selected and view.  Does anyone know how this is done?

  Simply change the value of the tab control. Send 3 and it'll show the 3rd page. If you create a constant, that it works as an Enum and will display the names of page as options.

  Yes it is a feature I've wanted also over the years.  Here's the first result that I got from the exchange of idea, but I think that there are duplicates autour.

  Basically, you can't do nativly but you can trick it work for you.  You make a tab that is false the user interacts with, changes to the value of another tab that things in it and then you fix every thing you want it is in the tab where it is demonstrated.  This works well if the thing in your tab is an element able to evolve to adapt to it, but if in a tab, you have a chart and another you have a bunch of buttons that should not change, then you will get a strange behavior.  You can tell the chart is more scope to this component, but then you lose the 'ladder while resizing objects' that make a lot more native user interface research.

  Two buttons.  Structure of the event.  If it is pressed, it reads the current value of the tab control and adding 1 and rewritten in a local variable of the tab control.  (And wraps around back to zero, if necessary).  If the other is pressed, it subtracts 1.  And if the number is less than 0, sets the value to be the largest number of page to wrap effectively.  (That or you can constrain the values to 0, or the maximum page number so that it is not wrap and repeated on the buttons pressures keep either the first or last page.)

  Hello everyone.

  I have some problems with a tab control in a fairly complex program implemented by another (more experienced) developer. The basic configuration for this tab control has several tabs to control various aspects of a system (engine installation, video installation, settings, etc.). Go to a specific tab and pressing Ctrl-F8 displays a password prompt, which then displays the menu "Advanced". The Advanced menu is a hidden in the same tab control page. The Advanced menu contains several Boolean controls that allow access to the various advanced features (these pages are also hidden on the same tab control pages), however, none of the Boolean controls work. By clicking on the controls does not cause the button appears pressed, when you run the program as a compiled executable, or while on the face before of the VI in LabView. Hidden pages appear as dark gray. I confirmed that the same is true for all pages hidden in the tab control. I think my problem is with the LabView version that I use. The program is designed in 8.0, while I am currently using 8.2. I was not able to find any references to such a question between the versions, and I'm kinda at a loss on how to address them. Version 8.2 is the only version that I currently have access to, otherwise I would use version 8.0, to see if that corrects the problem.

  Programs that have been previously compiled by the original designer do not work properly (hidden pages, when displayed, appear always dark gray), but even to compile the results of the source code unmodified in the same problems for me.

  Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I would look at these problems with the original designer, but he's currently on vacation for a month and I want to get this resolved.

So basically I have two pages in a tab control, page 1 contains, log in as user name, password, and login button and second page is nothing. After the user has entered the correct user name and password in the form of a string, page 1 will be disabled and grayed out and automatically will be on page 2? I also download the vi that I created and please correct me if I have a problem with my vi.

  Please help me with this ASAP, because I have assignment based on the view of any customer lab server.
