How to reinstall xp home edition? It came with no disk__ restart

It is bogged down and I want to restore the computer to its factory settings and to clean the disc for my husband to use.  I've defragged and clean the disc until I'm blue in the face and it has not solved the problem.

The vendor of your computer MUST provide you with a method to restore it to factory settings. Look in the documentation that accompanies it, or contact the manufacturer. If no disc has been provided so it's big, you have a hidden restore partition... If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you!

My 5 year old eMachine 5260 crashed due to a virus.  Had to buy a new HP with Windows 7 Desktop to enable the family to continue to work.  It's a shame simply throw the eMachine.  Could I check if the HARD drive does not work, remove everthing that was on it and then buy an XP Home Edition Operating System with COST, no matter the eMachine was XP Home Edition OEM installed which I can't do anything with it?  eMachines said that the office is more than 5 years and they cannot send recovery discs, although they said that the disc 3 of 4 may have corrupted, that's why she is not going to fix.  Would really appreicate your kind advice.

Dear Ken, thank you for you advice

You are welcome. Happy to help you...

and I'd be curious to know how to delete everything on the HARD drive, as I save everything.

You simply start from the CD and follow the prompts for cleaning
installation. The new facility will begin formatting the
    drive.

Keep in mind, however, that your backup data is fine, but if
you have backed up the programs, which don't help you. Your programs will be

  • You need to reinstall XP Home edition.

I just had my computer repaired and he installed Windows Profesional.  What should I do to reinstall XP Home Edition?

If you still have (or can borrow) from your version of pre - XP Windows installation disc, you can install Windows XP from a disk of Home Edition upgrade.  Boot from the XP disc and follow the prompts.  See the Installer Windows XP page for more details.

If you have a full XP disk (and not an upgrade), you don't need to find the disk for the pre - XP version of Windows.

Remote Desktop connection is not available in Vista Home: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/turn-on-remote-desktop-in-windows-vista/.

I need more info on how your network is configured to answer the question on the other.  How is the computer connected to the internet?  It connects wireless or cable to the router or modem or through ICS from another computer or what?  How do you change between the sharing of internet connection currently?  What happens when you try to enable both connections at the same time (or do not have two connections)?

Thank you.  The answers above, I can be able to understand the problem, because right now I really don't know how you setup and I need as much information as you can provide about it.

    Good luck!

I'm trying to reinstall XP Home, as my pc (F-Siemens Scalio 600i) was too old waste it contains. I made a backup of everything on an external hard drive, so I'm not worried about what anyone on this subject. I have read all the articals on the removal of IE v.8 and followed your advice here. IM using another pc for this link and to be reinstalled.

I loked in the Remove programs to remove IE 8, but it is not listed with a button Delete. I appealed, editing the registry and removed all associated I thought internet Explorer and now nothing works properly.

The pc is slow in operation no matter what I choose to do. I am trying to format the hard disk that has been upgraded 12 months in 250 GB sata and it works well. But some items do not work properly and I discovered that a lot of files of operation are missing. I regularly update the latest of all my suppliers of software protection as I us this machine for my photography and music. I would like to have a reinstall while I can reload XP with all the missing files back in place. This should eliminate all the waste that has been collected over the years hoping to make it cleaner to work with.

If you have the recovery cd, boot from it and follow the instructions for a destructive installation.

If you have a winxp cd real http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

The fuji site, specific to your model would probably have also instructions.

NB a clean installation will delete everything, so I hope that you have all your App cd or installation files to the outside, as well as the necessary keys

If necessary you can make the recovery discs from the recovery hard disk partition, if you always want to reinstall vista new

Create a set of recovery disks operating system

HP Recovery Manager to create a personal set of recovery disks. When you select the recovery disc creation process, the HP Recovery Manager examines the PC and determines how many virgins DVD discs will be necessary. According to the model, you will need up to ten or more CD - R or CD-R, or up to three discs DVD-R or DVD + R. The creation process can take up to an hour or more. Do not interrupt the process of creation.
CAUTION:  Disks must be CD - R, DVD - R or DVD + r using No CD-R/W or DVD - R/W drives read/write because the creation process will fail.
Create a set of recovery disks operating system by following the steps below.
    1. Click Start and enter the recovery in the field of research. Select Recovery Manager in the list to open the HP Recovery Manager window. Allow the action to proceed, if you are prompted.
Alternatively, click Start , all programs , Recovery Manager , and then Recovery Manager . Allow the action to proceed, if you are prompted.
    2. Click Advanced options , the creation of recovery disks , and then click Next .
The program appears to pause for about ten minutes while it examines the computer and calculates how many DVD-R or DVD + R discs are required.
    3. When you are prompted, put a blank disc in the optical disc drive and follow the on-screen instructions to create the recovery disks.
After all, the recovery disks are created, label the disks and store them in a safe place.
NOTE:  If the recovery disks fail when creating or damaged, you can order replacement of HP recovery disks.

    Hello

The following link shows the specifications of your machine:

There is NOT a wireless. I didn't have ANY housing PCI or PCIe spare for a PCIe wireless card so an option that you can try to use something like the following:

  • I'm editing multi cam with 4 cameras and my program keeps freezing upwards.

I think the only way to prevent this is to increase my RAM but I wanted to know, what is the recommended solution? I use the first Pro CC 2015. on Windows 8.1.

Make sure that the multicam is not also open in your control panel. What I understand which forces first by all four cameras on two occasions, essentially making it a multicam 8 camera, with each camera trying to read at full resolution.

But when clear you your screen of control, playback should become much smoother, and you can always try to drop the resolution of reading to 1/2 as well.

  • How to get out of edit mode tex with a single button?

    Hey,.

Is there a way to escape from the editing of text with a single click or a button?

Until now I always press CTRL + ENTER, then V and then I click outside the canvas so that the subsection is not highlighted. But it's a pain in the butt! Cant it be a single button for this?

    Thaks

    AO

Something interesting, I just noticed: double click outside a text box can have different effects depending on the context.

    • With the selected pointer tool, double click on a text box allows you to edit the text. In this "quick editing" mode, double click outside the text box to go back to the pointer tool.
    • If the text tool has been manually selected, double click outside a text box will create a new text box.
