  I used PSE8 to remove red eye from a picture and noticed that when I save the file, it creates the XMP data but removes EXIF data. How can I keep the EXIF data, because I don't want to delete it?   Here's what happens: PSE is deletion of article of MakerNotes exclusive of the manufacturer of the metadata.  Each manufacturer has its own format for fields MakerNotes, which encode many details on the camera, lens and exposure.  Most programs keep properly the MakerNotes, due to the poor design of the MakerNotes from the manufacturers.

  PSE is preserving all the standard EXIF fields (model camera, ISO, F number, duration of exposure, program exposure, etc.).  PSE is also adding a new section XMP metadata, copying the standard EXIF fields of industry in the XMP section.

  It is regrettable that the PSE often removes the MakerNotes section.  On the other hand, but most basic exposure information are stored in EXIF and XMP of industry standard fields.  And if you keep the unpublished originals (always a good practice), you always have access to the MakerNotes (although a bit inconvenient).

Usually, if we need a new Vdisk to any virtual computer, we create a new vdisk in storage and add them as a new data store in Vsphere, then we create the file within this new data store vmdk. I had to remove a disk of a virtual server. The steps are as below:

  1 remove the data from the drive

  2. remove the disk from the virtual machine and delete the vmdk file

  3 remove the data from the cluster of data store store

  4. remove the data store

  5 remove the vCenter store data (inventory------Clusters data store and data warehouses-right click on the data store and delete)

  6 - anyone the vdisk to ESXi hosts

  7 remove the vdisk to Storage Manager.

  Forget the noise on the Unlocker download, FIleAssasin, ETC..

  Best way to do this is through the command prompt.

  Open cmd prompt, type:

  DEL/p/f/s/a "C:\Windows.old\*".

  And viola, it has deleted the. DAT files and I was able to manually delete the Window.old folder.

  1. create a CD or disk bootableDBAN
  2 wipe the disc C
  3 reinstall windows vista
