How to remove Superfish and Rotatemyad that have been installed (slyly) to Foxfire

A 'popup' announcement itself injected in Foxfire. Lower left corner of the browser window is filled with an advertising window. It floats on the screen. It seems to work with Google, but according to Bing, it stalls and crash scripts. Often the browser crashing. It is not an add-on or extension, but the net has information on how to do to remove a similar addon. Perhaps their first version of this article more malicious. McAfee and ClamXAV can't. The only way to truly identify its source is to look at the Page Info, media and look at the location of the image.
This article seems to describe the same problem, I have experience but no validated solution.

    Is there a program that will allow me to recover programs and files that have been written too by a full system restore?  I had to do a complete system restore, because the computer has been locked up in a start of the closed loop cycle.

    Hi Apmech9,

    1. don't you restore the computer to factory settings?
    2. do you just restore the computer to an earlier time by using the system restore feature in Windows XP?

    If you restore the computer to its factory settings, you will then get in touch with the manufacturer of the system for more support options.

    If you had just restored the computer to an earlier time using System Restore, you can undo the system restore to revert back the changes.

  • How to combine files in libraries that have been developed in the documents

    Just upgraded to Windows 7 and have thousands of files.  Now I have My Documents under Documents.  I have the same files, for the most part, under Admin, My Documents.  I can't say which is the main file or how to combine easily in one place.  The same goes for music and images.

    Is there a good way to do this?

    Hello

    Libraries have been added as a feature in Windows 7 to solve the problem of modern computing where a user can have several gigabytes of documents, pictures, videos and music files. The problem is that all of these files can quickly fill a disk system (C :).

    All of these files can be moved to a partition or hard drive separate and then added to the library on the system drive (c) for easy access from a central location. A library is a virtual folder that uses no space on the system drive. They provide a "mirror" of the physics of the files and folders.

    Using the Admin\My Documents for example.

    The My Documents folder can be added to the document library (or any other library that you create). When you open the document library and open a file, it opens the actual physical file of the Admin\My Documents folder.

    Some things you need to be aware of:

    1. If you delete a file or a file from a library, it deletes the physical file.

    2. you can use the Remove option in the library to remove folders that have been added to the library, without harming the physical folder or the files it contains.

    Please see the following links for a complete description on the use of libraries.

  • How can I store the passwords that have been deleted

    I had the usernames and passwords stored for multiple accounts of e-mail on the same site. These have been accidentally deleted from the list of saved passwords, and now I can't get Firefox (23.0) to remember once again. I have no password check enabled (behind a master password), and this site does not appear on the list of "exceptions." In the password management utility, there is no facility to add new passwords, not to remove them. It seems, once removed, Firefox assumes one will never want to save this site again.

    I'm in and out of these accounts literally dozens of times a day and now connect in the manual every time. How can I get Firefox saves these combinations of name of user and password for me again?

    Yes. AutoComplete = off is a direction that web sites can give a browser to instruct them not to store the data that you enter in an input field. This can be search terms that you enter on a Web site like Google, but also the privacy and security of sensitive data such as a credit card number.

    If you use the bookmarklet so you know what you are doing and give it a second thought.

    If you use the extension that you don't notice that a Web site prefers that you do not to save this data.

    With recording a password, you will need to confirm a prompt, but the other form data can be recalled if imperceptible autocomplete = off is removed.

    Hello!

    I want to put the code in my LabVIEW program that she will handle a file opened with.  Let's say I have create my app as an .exe.  I have my .exe associated with a particular file type in Windows.  If the user double clicks on the file, it will launch my labview application.

    How can I get the information in path of file of the file that the user has clicked on in my code so I can handle?

    Thanks for your time!

    @Ravens-

    If you put:

    SuperSecretPrivateSpecialStuff = True

    In your file LabVIEW.ini, it will unlock an "OS Open Document" event to use in a block Structure of the event with a 'File Path' node on the left side.  Whenever the application is launched via a file of the operating system, this event fires (even if your application is already up to-and-operational).

    Works like a champ and is enough would apply us!
