  • How to restore the default fonts to zero?

all my change of system to other fonts and no default windows fonts... I already tried so many times, but I still can't display my fonts... Please help... ASAP...

    1. Right click on the desktop. Choose "Customize".
    2. Click on window color and appearance.
    3. Click on advanced appearance settings
    4. Go through each element and restore (as applicable), bold, no italic fonts. (All parameters of a machine Win7 or Vista by default will be Segoe UI 9pt).

If it does not, or should I say, if all your settings here are already Segoe UI 9pt - you have probably inadvertently changed your ClearType settings. ClearType is how Windows draws the screen fonts, and according to the screen, different settings will be needed for optimal display of fonts.

    To remedy this in Win7:

    1. Right click on the desktop. Choose "Customize".
    2. Click on "display".
    3. Click 'adjust ClearType text.
    4. A window will open. Ensure than its check box ("Turn on ClearType") is enabled. Click "next".
    5. Follow the prompts through the wizard, setting up what the fonts 'right' again.

  • How to set the default font to a lower value size?

I recently received the update of the Firefox 22.0 20130514181517 build (at the same time as an update to Windows 7, I might add) and since then, on every Web site default font sizes have been expanded. I have a 17 "monitor, but due to fonts grossly overscaled, it looks more like an old 14", and it is quite irritating. To view websites in about the old way, they serve to study, I have to zoom out twice, but it also means that I have to do this on all websites. I also used to zoom accidentally inside or outside while using the touchpad on my laptop, so whenever I have ctrl-0 to restore the police, it goes back to the large font size, and I need her rezoom again.

I am mostly trying to figure out if there is a way to reset the font size without the help of Add-ons.

    Thank you

Amendments of the code regarding the HiDPI support high-resolution displays have landed at Firefox 22 and later (bug #844604).

You can change the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value of 0.1 or 0.05 as follows to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.

    • The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a string parsed in float value and allows you to adjust the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) specifically (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
    • Change the default value of-1 to 1 to make it work as in previous versions of Firefox (100%)

Start with a value of 1 and adjust this value with 0.1 or 0.05 for finer settings.

    • Use values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the items (do NOT go all the way to 0.05!)
    • Use a value greater than 1.0 to grow and enlarge the elements (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).

If the web pages must be adjusted after changing this pref so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint.

This extension allows to adjust the font size for the user interface:

How to change the font and size of the default settings in wordpad?

    Thank you

You can change the font and size and then save it as a template - ex: default.wri

Navigate to this file and make it read-only. Create a shortcut to it and use it as WordPad in the future.

It will always come back with the font settings that you put, but you will need to save it under a new name every time (you usually do in any case).

There is no other way to keep the settings of fonts in WordPad.

  • How to change the default font in the system in all parts completely

    Separated from this thread.

First BIG THX for this post - helped me change the fonts almost all except those used by the modern UI in point 8.1 of Windows. Looks like the modern user interface to use 'Segoe UI Light' as default font, but it changes the way it changes only in the destop and not in the modern user interface.

So someone knows how to change the font used in the modern user interface?

    Managed to achieve this:

    Screenshot

In my view, there is a last default font used by the system, and everything I have to do is find his name and then just follow your steps again.

    Update:

The font is arial. But when I change in the registry, the system takes a different default font - arial italic.

How to prevent the system from changing the font to the next in the queue?

    Hi Dan,.

You cannot change the font size in Windows modern user interface, it's by design. However, you can install a third-party application using your favorite search engine to change the fonts.

Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    It will be useful.

  • How to reset the default settings for the adjustment brush presets. for example, dodge, burn, etc. ?

Is there a way to reset the brush setting to factory settings? If I put a PIN on a photo using "burn", for example, it has a default value of negative exposure which is supposed to be there, and then I can change this value to get the effect I want on photography. If I want to then go back to the factory setting and put another pin on a different part of the picture and can't remember what the correct value has been set at the factory, how can I reset it?

Select the brush and click twice on the effect of the speech. Or you can double-click any pointer cursor to reset an individual slider.

I played with settings made lighting effects in CS5 and want to reset them back to their default values.  How to reset this filter back to default values that have been defined during the installation of PS CS5?

The effect of light presets are all just files on your drive.  Unless you have registered on them, they do not change.

If you have registered with them, then you can reinstall or grab a copy of another installation of Photoshop (and they have not changed many, many rejections).

  • How to reset the default monitor on Acer 2920, computer laptop think always connected to an external monitor

Hello, I hope you can help me! I have a laptop Aspire 2920 with Windows Vista Home Edition O.S. It starts and works fine except that after I used it with an external monitor (a tv screen) on the possibility of using the external monitor, it only now starting to think that the monitor is the flat screen tv and doesn't recognize the normal screen of the laptop. The laptop screen is now "pixeled" and shows only like 2/3 of its total width. I checked in Control Panel and it has recorded as the 'normal' monitor flat screen, but I can't way a find to tell the computer that the monitor is the same as usual and not the flat screen tv. Thank you!!!

    Dear Lawrence,

    I ve solved the problem.

Do you have your suggestion to reset and did not work, but keeping your idea, I hooked to an external monitor, mounted in Control Panel, remove the "non-existent" monitor in the device section.

At this point, I had no image at all in the laptop and only the external monitor.

Turn off the computer and then reset the power supply.

Because the computer did not all other monitors, he then had to use the one by default with the default resolution, etc..

Thanks, it was a great help!

can hoe I change the font color?

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

You want to change the color of the font of the icons.

Where are the icons located, the color you want to change?

If you are referring to the desktop icons, you cannot change their color.

Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.

Just found the answer when you browse recent discussions. I swear, I'm not really looking for before this announcement, and it turned up nothing.

In case someone needs the answer:

    begin apex_instance_admin.set_parameter ('APEX_BUILDER_AUTHENTICATION', 'APEX'); end;

will reset back to the authentication of the APEX.
