  Thanks vikrant I used scannow and it fixed my problem of registry. I have windows 7. Click Start type command RT. Click on the cmd icon, click on run as administrator, black screen should appear. type sfc/scannow press ENTER.

  I'm glad you like the Welcome screen. But, welcome screen will appear only when no document is open in the application.

  But again, you can enable the recent files Panel when you do a file > open or Ctrl/Cmd + O instead of open the OS dialog box. How it works - first time you launch Open (file > open or Ctrl/Cmd + O), recent files Panel appears, but if you want to see the OS dialog instead, you can again (second time) file > Open or Ctrl / Cmd + O while the recent files Panel appears and this will open the OS dialog box.

  To enable this workflow, you can go to preferences and select the preference to opening of the salon "Recent files" Workspace file.

  There is an application called "No Lock".  It does not block the screen, hide but will all move together to the lock screen.  I really like this app.  I use it all the time.  I hope this helps.

  This looks like a problem of sorting. What kind of select fills your LOV? If the 'ALL' value is added to a UNION ALL select operation, then you might need to add an order by clause.

  example: create a LOV that shows some NLS_parameters and an option ALL to choose all the parameters at the same time.

  I don't know how many times I ruined hundreds of photos because the Lightroom deselect does not work as in Windows.  Selection is more persistent and must be deselected manually.  In windows, clicking on any file désélectionnera all but one.  I went for an hour thinking that I was working on a photo!

  If it is too late to use Ctrl-Z (i.e. you've restarted LR inbetween), select images all affected grid (you possibly can use a smart collection containing "Change Date" to identify them) and press Ctrl-Shift-R (or Menu Photo, develop settings, Reset).
