  • Newbie question, how to resize a DataGrid to always adjust to the content?

    Hello

    I don't know this is a question asked time and again one time so please forgive me if I go over old ground.

    I just discovered flex 4.5 on a week ago and I am absolutely amazed by the power it gives me and how it was easy to pick up... There is a problem, that I fight with however.

    How to resize to mx or datagrid to adjust the content of the sparks?

    I just used more traditional solutions (.net aspx) and I have the habit of (and quite like) the way that a datagrid or list control will resize itself automatically itself to adapt to ranks how it should display.

    I've accepted the fact that I need to place scrollbars on the external container so that the user can scroll down to see the content (I would like to apply dynamic resizing finally), however no matter what I do the items in the DataGrid in my flex application never seem to adjust the content.

    I looked around the internet and there seems to be a lot of people who say that it is possible, and a lot of the sample code provided for that matter, but many it seems relevant to flex 2/3 and doesn't seem to work in my situation.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • How to resize an object and also to mitigate the effects (transparencySettings)?

    I want to to scale an object through script but also effects nationwide, currently my resizing does not only. My effects are TransparencySetting: drop shadow, inner glow, outer glow.

    For example using the following does not work:

    pdf.resize(CoordinateSpaces.innerCoordinates, AnchorPoint.topLeftAnchor, ResizeMethods.multiplyingCurrentDimensionsBy, [pointSizeScale, pointSizeScale]);

    I have to resize the effects that I have at hand for example:

    thisObj.transparencySettings.dropShadowSettings.xOffset = dSXYOffset*pointSizeScale;
    thisObj.transparencySettings.dropShadowSettings.yOffset = dSXYOffset*pointSizeScale;
    thisObj.transparencySettings.dropShadowSettings.size = dsSize*pointSizeScale;

    Thanks in advance!

  • How you resize one. FLA file without destroying the animation?

    I'm not an expert in flash huge by any means, but I'm working on a banner and I need to take the largest banner 336 x 280 and resize them to 300 x 250. I change the size of the stage and shrink down bitmaps etc is fine. The question I have is the amino graphics and buttons I have on the scene. I tried to change several frames, onion skins etc to do but little matter what the animation will edit again that the first place, I clicked on the symbol. He goes the small size and moves to the larger size and its position on the old original size.

    It seems that there must be a way to set the animations without having to redo all. Right?

    The practice makes it (almost) perfect.  Buttons (as in the symbols) are almost autonomous movieclips, in the sense that they have their own internal deadlines.  But if they are driven outside, such as in the display somehow passes, then they would need the same consideration than anything else that lives in a scenario animation.

    You should try one of the suggestions of the well kGlad.  Just choose the main scenario together in the larger version, right click it and copy images, then create a movieclip empty in a new smaller size file and paste this timeline in the timeline of the new movieclip. (right-click the keyframe is empty, select Paste frames - the entire timeline should stick intact).  Then you can adjust the scale of this movieclip to adapt to the new size of the stage.

    A pdf FichierA sent to me and and it's backwards.  How can I rotate 180 degrees?

    With the player, you can change the file, not the actual file view. You can do it via view - display rotation.

    He will present to the original when you reopen the file, however.

  • How to resize an image using PIXELS to define the width and height?

    I need make my image a certain number of pixels wide and high.  When I resize image I can't change the area that shows the pixels of width and height, and when I drop down lists it does not give option pixels.  When I choose "points" and "Pica" they are obviously not other names for the pixels because the given number is not the number of pixels above.  I used to be able to do it EASILY in elements 2.0, my previous version of elements.  I am now using 8.0.

    In fact, I just realized that nothing that I in image resize will change the number of pixels at ALL in question.  Size and pixel per inch are locked permanently in relationship to each other.  I had to download a new version not long because my computer hard drive has failed, and I think they changed the things that work so not now, because I would have noticed it before now if it's that way when I downloaded originally from that.  I begin to fear that I'll have to kludge with the crop tool, even if the resizing of the image SHOULD be able to.

    Make sure resample is checked:

  • How can I convert my logo 300 dpi (274 pixels wide) of the EPS to Gif format?

    I have a logo that needs to be fixed for purposes of web. It looks like a lot to print but very poor quality screen. I need one for my Web site and HTML email newsletters, as well as a high quality GIF 300 DPI (274 pixels wide) for a HTML signature code. I tried in Photoshop to save this file in the GIF format. But it seems that my files is 274 pixel but it is 96 DPI instead of 300 dpi. How can I convert an it EPS to GIF 300 dpi (274 pixels wide) file format?

    I have an EPS file for her. Can someone help me please? Here is the LINK

    If your logo is 274 pixel wide at 300 dpi, it will print. 9 "wide.      DPI is meaningless to the web for screens and display drivers do not use the file image dpi setting.  Views are executed at a resolution normally manufactured pixel resolution.   View these days are made with a resolution of 96PPI at 300PPI so your logo appears 2.8 "wide screen resolution low 96ppi and. 9 "wide screen resolution of 300ppi high. The difference between Jpeg and Gif's color supports Jpeg 8 bit so 16 M color but does not support transparency.  GIF only supports 256 mapped colors reduced to 255 colors it you want transparent empty pixels.  You can also use PGN format that supports transparency support and 8 or 16-bit color.

  • How to resize an object on a layer, while a certain characteristic of the image measures a certain width?

    Hello

    I have a number of images of preparation of animals and they all must be 40mm at 300 DPI from tip of nose to their buttocks. The problem is a bunch of them have antennas, of long ears, long tail, etc. which may not be included in the measure, which prevents me to perform the entire image a certain size. How the entire image would turn so I can be sure that most of the animal measured exactly 40mm? TYIA!

    Crop the image for measurement points (do not delete the cropped pixels). Then the Image-> resize to 40 mm wide with 300 dpi. Then select reveals all and crop once again if you want.

  • Resizing layers using pixels instead of percentages in Photoshop

    With the help of Photoshop CS5 for PC.

    When I select a layer and look at the info panel, I see that the width and height of the layer is shown apparently in percentages by default.  More precisely 100% height and 100% width.

    I would have preferred that the info panel shows the height and width in Pixels rather than percentages.

    After considering the height and width in Pixels I mean, change the height enter the height in pixels.

    How can I do?

    I don't want to use a "leader" to do this, I just want to be able to enter the pixels (width and height) I want the resized b layer.  For example, when you select a rectangle which is currently 100 pixels high and 50 pixels wide, I want to be able to simply change of 50 pixels wide by entering (in a field) 25 to make 25 pixels wide.

    In Fireworks, I resize in pixels all the time.  But could not find a method similar to Photoshop.

    Thank you

    Rowby

    Info palette: just click on the drop down next to the display and change the units for playback.

    Transformation: just specify the units when you enter the number, '25 px' or '25 pixels.

  • I downloaded a game on the internet, and now my screen does not match my screen. I have two large black areas on each side of my screen. How to resize my screen to fit the screen of my computer? (and yes I tried the button expand) :))

    I have two large black areas on each side of my screen. How to resize my screen to fit the screen of my computer? (and yes I tried the button expand) :))

    Hello val2000, welcome.

    These games is managed inside of Internet Explorer? If this isn't the case, then I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your computer for the latest pgrahics drivers. If installation of those who does not resolve the problem, then try to change your resolution to one of the following values (depending on the size of your screen):

    1024 x 768
    1280 x 800 (wide, common form for laptops)
    1280 x 1024
    1680 x 1050 (widescreen)

    To change your resolution:

    1. click on START
    2. click on "Control Panel."
    3. double click on "display".
    4. click on the tab "settings".
    5. change the resolution on your cursor tab and then click on 'Apply' at the bottom right

  • I want my users to be able to click on a 600 pixel wide image in my project and make it open in splendor high res.

    I don't know the site Pro option. I've seen other users do this. They upload an image and it's self of size at 600 pixels wide, but when you click it, it opens in a new window in full resolution so that users can see fine detail. I'm puzzled! I did several searches on google and have also watched the videos on download and I was not able to find my answer.

    What I tried #1: I "save for web" in Photoshop and save it at 600 pixels wide as a .png. I have download on Behance. Cool, it fits and looks good. But now users cannot zoom in on her closer.

    What I tried #2: I "save for web" in Photoshop and save at 1200 pixels wide as a .png. I have download on Behance. Now I have this massive image that fills the screen and half of the work is cut.

    How to find the right balance?

    Thank you all,

    -Kelsey

    Hello Kelsey,

    You may have noticed that we recently launched a new project editor who has been launching a huge for us - for the first time, our limit of the image is not 600 pixels, but you can download large images high resolution up to 1200 px! (and you can choose to use a new option of "full-bleed" to extend this to 1400).

    There is therefore no need for small (600 px) image with the album pop up. You can always activate the pop-up lightbox (in account settings), but any size you upload your image to (1200 px or less), it appears as such in the main body of your project. Then, when you click, you will be able to see it in a lightbox and progress for the following images.

    Hope that this help - me know if something else happens!
