  There are other alternatives, but they depend on some things...

  If you used the "automatic" methods to perform the update, this process may well have led to a corruption that is the cause (many related things). Or the version you have installed may well have this fault (many report these).

  In any cause, the thing to do is to reload your operating system properly and see if that clears up the problem. Or, update to the really newer version and see if that clears it. The method that I recommend for your situation is autoloader... refer:

  With automatic charger, you can install any OS you can find a valid automatic charger, since regardless cases your carrier has approved or not. You can also use the ADF to return to any level of 'work' OS you want.
