Judging by your question, you should be able to just go to save on PC and upload to your site. Director of Windows compiles the avi + mp3 for you as you mentioned earlier, after you have saved on your pc in the edit tab make sure that your blog supports the file type. If this isn't the case, simply type in the free video converter in the search engine.

  • How to change a Movie Maker file name extension

I am trying to load a video You Tube and Facebook of Movie Maker on Vista, yet both programs say that they do not support the MSWMM file name extension. How can I change the extension wmv or something supported by these programs without destroying the file?
I already changed the position of file name by renaming the file, but it destroyed and I was not even able to see.

    Hi Linsala,

Try highlighting your video on the collection list and then clicking Save film on top of the toolbar. Go through the steps and it should save it as a wmv.

  • Can't save the movie maker on computer or a cd.

I made a movie with windows movie maker, I saved the project, and when I go to save it as a movie, it will play only about 3/4 and then freeze.  The music will continue to play, but the picture freezes.  I've done several over the years, but for some reason, I have a problem recording of it, either in my computer or on CD.

This often happens when you use files that don't work well with MM.
