Keith General, 'How do I keep my printer in mode ' sleep'. "

The printer is a Hp 1102w.  The printer goes on sleepmode, and it does not pick up when I print.  I need to manually turn the printer 'on' and then it will recognize that there is a job waitng to be printed.

I have two printers share a USB hub. The other printer is a Laserjet Pro 200 MFP, I use it to print color presentations.

Please counselor as to stop the day before on my HP 1102w.

Thank you

Keith General

You can configure or disable sleep mode options using the following HP web link:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02860533

Have you tried to connect the unit to the computer without using the USB hub.  The other printer capable of wake up automatically once that work is sent to her?

I regret that none of these steps seems to fix your problem, it's frustrating. Here are some more that you can try to see if the problem is resolved or changes in some way:

    1. Installation/update antivirus application and definitions, then run a virus in Windows scan check that no virus or malware
    2. Disabling hybrid sleep in Windows
    3. Disabling the requirement for password during the resumption of the mode standby
    4. Try a different power source

  • How can I keep my print spooler active Service after blocking with FixIt

When you try to use one of my printers online, I receive an error message that

"Operation cannot be completed. Print Spooler service is not running. »

I used FixIt to repair this problem. It is said that the problem is solved.

But, he is not fixed... as soon as I try to activate a printer, the error message is repeated.

"Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

Participated in the Windows Update... without success

A ran a scan antivirus (AVG)... no virus found

PC Tune Up (AVG)... without success

    At least he's polite.

It could be that your print spooler queue is blocked, then you can clean it up.

To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the pending print files.

You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.

To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.

The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).

If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup type" to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again... you must remove any saved print jobs first.

Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.

Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).  If it is not started, right click on and start it.

After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

Submit new failure of print jobs.

  • 8500 a does not print after mode 'sleep'

My Officejet Pro 8500 has just started having this problem in the last two weeks. Every time the screen goes off I have to power and power on again to use the fax, copy, or scan functions. I can submit a print job, print manually, or receive a fax and the video screen shows it's printing, fax, or scan, but nothing happens. I have to stop working, power works, and it works fine. That is until he's going to return to the "standby" mode.

I tried, without turning off the power, unplug the system, wait a few minutes, then by plugging it to the top. It made like a reboot. Is there any other suggestions that I can try? Have to do 10 to 15 times a day is getting old.

    Thank you

It seems that this has solved my problem completely. I lit my saving in last night and was able to receive faxes from one day to the next. Seems to work very well this morning.

  • Can someone tell me how to keep my Vista system "in sleep"?

Can someone tell me how do to keep my Vista system "in sleep" - then go to the Welcome screen? I have check and re-checked read settings to 'NO' to sleep, hibernate, etc..

    Hello

    ·        Do you use a system or a laptop?

    ·        If you use a laptop, then when the laptop goes to sleep, on the mode of power supply or battery?

    ·        Have you checked if hybrid sleep is enabled?

There are two options in the laptop. We need to put the system to sleep when the notebook is on battery or put the laptop to sleep when it is plugged into the power supply. Check the adjustment and change appropriately.

There are a few settings in the BIOS that can be changes to stop the sleep system. I suggest you to contact the system manufacturer for assistance.

    Thanks and regards.

  • How can I keep my HP1510 all-in-one to print the test pages as much?

How can I keep my HP1510 all-in-one to print the test pages as much? My printer is connected to my laptop, and it seems that whenever I disconnect, want the printer print a test page when I reboot. I don't know where the option is to disable this option.

Pages are likely alignment pages.  When a new cartrdige is installed the printer will print an alignment page which should be placed on the scanner glass and press the button of scan to complete the alignment process.  If the alignment is not complete it will repeat when the printer is powered suite or maybe at the end of print jobs.

The alignment page will stop printing when the alignment process is complete.  See the page here for more information.

  • To combine PDF files, how can I keep security to prohibit printing and text entry?

To combine PDF files, how can I keep security to prohibit printing and text entry? In Windows Explorer, I highlight the individual PDF files, right click and choose "combine with Adobe Acrobat. I'm done and get my single file with all the PDF pages included, but nowhere I can't find where them prohibit printing of the any PDF combined or refusing to be seized of the text... as I'm able to do when I export to PDF from InDesign.

It's really a question of Acrobat, but in any case the answer is you open the file in Acrobat and go to properties (Ctrl + D), and then click the Security tab.

  • Keith General, "Mac not connect wirelessly to my MFP HP Laserjet Pro 200"

My Mac was connected by USB, but I want to use wireless.  I have 3 other devices connected to my printer.  Is there a limit to how many devices can be connected to my printer Laserjet Pro 200 MFP with wireless?

    Thank you

    Keith General

    Keith General

    Hi @KeithGilabert

Direct wireless has a limit of 5 devices. If you connect devices to the network Direct wireless printers there is a limit of 5 that can be added.

If you have any devices configured to be wireless with a router, there is no limit.

    # 1, is the link to use HTML to simplify the interface?

Maybe it's that the site stores your preferences in a cookie, and you may have set Firefox to delete the cookie when you quit the browser. There are a few built-in ways to do this:

    • The Firefox value "keep [cookies] until: I close Firefox" on the Privacy Options (you can create an exception for your messaging sites)
    • The value 'Clear history closing Firefox' Firefox on Privacy Options
    • A private browsing window allows to visit the site of your mail

It is also possible that the modules or external software can clean the cookies, or that there is a problem with the database file Firefox uses cookies to store.

    # 2, you have this problem just started recently? If you find one any relationship with the site content type (for example, pages that use Flash or other media)?
