How to search engine choices do not apply to the navigation bar
To reproduce:
-set google as default search engine
-Select an item in the search panel (not google)
-Type a query in the navigation bar (only text)
-press on enter
Early in this case google search was conducted
Now you can search via the search engine selected in the search panel.
Is it possible to change this behavior, as it was?
It is an intentional change in Firefox 23 and upward. It also applies to the search box on: home.
You can use the keyword search to get back to the old behavior. It is available here:
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/keyword-search/
See also this issue of support for general information on the change of function:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/967150
I hope this helps.

How do the States applied to the navigation bar appears on every page
Hello.
I created the new States on my nav bar items in the master page with the associated behavior. States work very well on the master page, but when I go to other pages that have the navigation bar on the master page, States seem not deferred. Specifically, the hover and down and lower States do not appear on the navigation bar in the pages other than the captain. I was under the impression that if I created these States in the master on the navigation bar, they appear and work the same on all other pages. Is this correct? What I am doing wrong? What should I do?
Thank you!
You may need to assign an equal number of States at each page, so that
images from the navigation bar to be displayed. It doesn't have to be something in these
States, but they are necessary in order to reproduce the number of States
in the navigation bar.

How can I get my menu to Center along the navigation bar
I created a menu using the horizontal menu widget. I'm placing it inside a box that I created and that spans the width of the screen. I want the menu to Center on the page, but he continues to be aligned with the navigation bar, that I created. How can I get the menu to Center on the page. I chose the icon on the toolbar to center but it does not work.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Try to pin the menu or use the scroll without moving to correct the position of the menu on the page.
Thank you

Flash Nav file will not 'sit' on the navigation bar Image loaded in DWCS3
Since I am not fully qualified (or hardly) on correct terminology, I included the site evidence at the beginning of this discussion.
http://www.fairwoodcommunitynews.com/Alphatest/HomeTest2.html
I created a floating boom in Flash CS3; It follows the mouse flies above the Nav links. I want the arrow to sit directly on the bar, which is a jpeg loaded in my page DWCS3.
Currently, the flash file seems to be sitting directly on the nav bar graph. For the flash file, I chose to align "Low absolute" and for navigation bar Image, I chose align them 'Top', but these two choices does not work.
Can someone help me with this? THANKS in advance.
I want to be sure that the base of the arrow key actually the bar, giving the impression that it slides along the horizontal bar not hovering over the bar.
If you leave detail like this control you, he'll go crazy and eat up to 100% of your time. Move on to more important things. Or otherwise, to build the navigation bar all in Flash.

On the address bar, when I write something, I would get Yahoo instead of Google search results. I don't know how to change it because the Options under the Tools tab do not seem anything which changes the search engine for the address bar.
There is a hidden preference that you can edit to make it use Browse of Google search of name that has been used in Firefox 3.6
- Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- Locate the preference keyword. URL, double-click it and change its value on the link below
http://www.Google.com/search?ie=UTF-8 & oe = UTF - 8 & SourceId = navclient & gfns = 1 & q =
If after changing the preference it is still using Yahoo, there will be an add-on that is the cause. Check for modules of Yahoo and if not necessary to uninstall them. If you have the add-on of net assistant freeze.com , which can cause research go to Yahoo, uninstall this add-on - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Windows Firefox 29.0.01 8.1
It doesn't seem to be an easy way to reset the default search engine to use in search in the address bar. Am I missing something?
And also, why can Yahoo turn this function is the default search engine?
Hi gcraighammond, I just noticed that you had a problem, a right-click. To change the search engine, click with the left button on the icon and a list of search engine options would fall down.
Yet once, it doesn't until you move the search box back to the toolbar AND to exit to customize the view.

I tried to load the Profile Manager, but the icon does not appear in the navigation bar
I created a profile in the Profile Manager, but when I click on 'Start Firefox' there is no icon shown. I have Firefox is closed and I click on the icon on my desktop to open it, before its opening I get "Firefox - choice of a user profile.
The context menu opens if you right-click.
In this case, you are in a field where you enter text and click right while the cursor is visible in an input field.
Then, you'd see an AutoFill entry in the context menu if this extension is installed and enabled. -
How can I jump a number of slides using the navigation bar buttons in 8 Captivate PlayBar?
I have a number of classes implemented with integrated slides. If the master slide you click a button and have access to a set of slides which continues until the end of this line of training, then returned to the main.
I would like the section to be ignored if a user clicks on the next button of the PlayBar instead of going to the next slide. otherwise my jumping back complex and the on-board navigations are useless.
I searched online but couldn't find an answer - did anyone done this before?
You will need create your own buttons to do this, except if you create a schema developed using measures onEnter jump according to which 'the lesson', you are in. Then you will always need to worry if the user hit the back button.

The list of search engines appears when I click on the arrow in the search window.
Search engines are still listed when I access "Change settings of search engine", but do not appear when I click on the arrow in the search box. Other that 'add Firefox support.'

Hello
1. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?
I suggest you try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.
Method 1: Try to start your system in safe mode with network and check if the same problem occurs.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
Method 2: If the question does not exist in Mode safe mode then try to put your computer in a clean boot state.
By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
Hope this information is useful.

Maybe that's two questions. Both pooped upward with a recent update. I do not have yahoo extensions or add-ons installed.
(a) I type a URL in the navigation bar (NOT the search box), and all of these 'useful' pop-up suggestions. Do stop.
(b) I type wrong address in the navigation bar (NOT the search box) and I get a Yahoo to "links" page Do stop.
Thank you. I have the screenshots I can post too.
Found the solution. It's an add-on: uTorrentControl3 by conduit. I've disabled to check and uninstalled then when I saw it was the question.
