  2. Logging in as an administrator account.
  3. Delete the C:\SomeUser folder.
  4. Move the file c:\Users\SomeUser to make it c:\SomeUser.
  5. Open the registry editor.
  6. Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.
  7. Search for "ProfileImagePath" until you find the one that points to c:\Users\SomeUser.
  8. Change it so that it points to c:\SomeUser.
  9. Use the system restore in case things go wrong.

  Thanks for the reply.  What I realized later, is that I need the form to check if one of the two boxes is marked before clicking a Submit button in a section that comes later.  So I don't want the shape to make the required checkboxes because the first user does not need to check out them.  So I put that in the script for the Send button:

  Hey guys, thanks a lot for all your response. I just found a simple way to solve this problem. For example, there is a cluster named "ClusterA", and there are only two witnesses, who are: an int value named "IntA" (default = 10 IntA value) and a string value named "StringA" (by default the StringA = 'abc'). In c#, if you call the method:

  var clusterA is vi (Array). GetControlValue ("ClusterA");

  you will get a table looks like: clusterA = {10, 'abc'}; So if you want to change IntA 123, you simply do:

  clusterA.SetValue (123, 0); 123 the value, 0 is the index of IntA in clusterA, after this clusterA table = {123, 'abc'}

  After that, simply to make the table in LabVIEW using:

  VI. SetControlValue ("ClusterA", clusterA);

  and now you see the LabVIEW, IntA is changed.

• How to set the owner to the LOCAL SERVICE

  On an XP machine, I used accidentally (cygwin bash shell) command line tool to the administrator account of hierarchically to change the owner of "c:\Documents and Settings\LocalService".  All children & records files that are hierarchically under this folder had their property changed administrator.

  To try to fix this problem, I checked a XP Mode VM and found that all files/folders in "c:\Documents and Settings\LocalService" should be the property of LOCAL SERVICE.  It comes to choose files/folders in "c:\Documents and Settings\LocalService" raise their properties panel, ranging in the Security tab, click on advanced and selecting the owner tab in the advanced security settings window that results.  I can also use this tab to change owners, but unfortunately, I can't change the owner to the LOCAL SERVICE.  It is not an option in the in the list of names for the evolution of the property.  Probably because it isn't a regular account.

  Is it possible to set the owner to the LOCAL SERVICE?  What is the effect of having the bad owner?

  P.S. I also have the same problem with the "c:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService".  Thanks for the replies on this subject, too.
