  Why not save to a folder on your hard drive and burn them to a CD - R from there? I can't tell from the little you wrote if the problem is with Quicken (not work or you have incorrectly backup location) or with your CD - RW drive. How about more details to work with?   You cannot delete specific files one by one using cleanmgr and there is no setting to remove the file manually.
