    Hello

    ·        What is the service pack installed on your computer?

    Windows Update will remind you if you have to restart your PC to continue the installation of an update and you give the option to "reboot now" or will give you the option to postpone the restart. If you are away from your PC for a long period of time, you can see that it automatically restarts your PC. Windows does to make sure all the latest security and other updates are applied in a timely, to help keep your PC safer with little effort for you.

    If you are a system administrator and you want to control restart behavior, you can use Group Policy to avoid any automatic restart every time the administrator is connected.

  • How can I safely remove a questionable e-mail after it has been downloaded?

    Norton tells me that it will scan for viruses if I use outlook or outlook express, but in some cases not for thunderbird. What are the exceptions? What should be our proper procedure?

    I think you are looking for and right-click, delete as a way to delete a message without opening it.

    However, in most cases, the dangers of see suspicious e-mails are generally overrated. Unless you follow the links, or download and unzip or open attachments, should not to harm you, especially in Thunderbird where scripts are not allowed to run.

    To be ultra careful, you can view offline messages, or disable live content by viewing in plain text only.

    How to stop automatic expansion of a window in Windows 7?  I'd rather have 3 or 4 applications open and able to show all the - or at least a section of the window that I can choose.  In Windows 7 if I move a window resized to the edge of the desk she automatically enlarged mode full screen; It is such a waste of time.  I have to stop and resize the window to the bottom once again.

    I don't want the same windows in the same places - I just want to stop the automatic expansion of a window.

    In addition to the foregoing comments, I also wanted to mention that the automatic sizing has held that if the bumps on yourmouse pointer over the edge of the screen.  Being aware of that could make the difference for you and allow you to take advantage of the functionality, while preventing unnecessary sizing.

    Hello Yugo123!

    Thanks for writing on the Microsoft forums.

    This problem is due to the power plan that you use or the default settings. That's what you have to do.

    How to change the power Plan settings in Windows 7

    Just look at the options where he is asked about to turn off the display device & hard. Simply change their return on the '' NEVER. ''

  • How to stop automatic reformatting processes ViewRowImpl.java file?

    Hi all

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.

    I am facing a strange problem,

    I have a view with 'ViewRowImpl.java' for something internal logical object.

    Now I will create a "Transitional" attribute in the object View. After creating the "Transitional" attribute all ViewRowImpl java codes are changed and reformatted automatically.

    My question how to stop automatic reformatting processes ViewRowImpl? Is this possible in Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4.

    Thank you

    David.

    One more piece of information to add to Joel Ramamoorthy-Oracle:

    to avoid this problem, you must:

    (a) define a style (Tools-> preferences-> Code-> CodeStyle editor) that force you everyone to use

    (b) add a backup action reformat (Tools-> preferences-> Code-> SaveActions editor)

    (c) enable reformat code"block"when pasting (Tools-> preferences-> Code Editor).

    After that, the code that gets checked is always in the format and regenerate the code of a file impl is not a problem.

    Method 2: Clear the print spooler:

    To do this, follow these steps.

    a. click on Start Menu, in the online search, type services.msc and press enter.

    b. in the Services listed stop the service print spooler.

    (c) in Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder below and open the PRINTERS.

    C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS

    d. click on continue and Yes (if prompted by UAC) to approve the opening of the PRINTERS folder.

    e. remove all files in the PRINTERS folder, until it is empty, and then close Windows Explorer.

    Note: DO NOT DELETE the PRINTERS folder itself. Don't delete its content.

    f. open Servicesand start the service print spooler.

  • Media Center crashes since update k2502898 has been cancelled during an automatic update

    Media Center crashes since update k2502898 has been cancelled during an automatic update. The cancellation took place on 03/10/2011. Since that time MC opens, then when I click on TV > Live it hangs or does not detect the tuner. Other times it opens, but after a few minutes I can't change channels or use Rarely MC. It works OK.

    I tried to find an answer in the forums but nothing. One day I came across a hotfix package for KB2502898 file 1.0.0.0 version. After installing MC works sometimes. When it does not work I have to install this hotfix package and restart the PC each time until finally it works.
    Since March, 2011, there is also a problem with the GUIDE. Its download is interrupted (probably because MC broke down). Manual download does not work. Even when MC works (after downloading the hotfix package), the guide does not download.
    My PC is regularly updated and protected.

  • Windows 10 has been downloaded to my computer as a virus. What you want to put this on my laptop, like that, without me hitting a button.

    * Original title: Windows 10

    I was on my laptop when I get that annoying pop about 10 Windows and X is turned off. Today it pops up behind what I was watching and by chance I saw because 10 Windows has been downloaded to my computer as a virus. What you want to put this on my laptop, like that, without me hitting a button you never try and hack my laptop without my permission. If you want to explain 10 Windows it's good.

    It is a forum for peer-to-peer volunteers public World Wide web.

    Essentially, you missed (or simply press the 'X') the message you plan / cancel the upgrade.  It is more a case of 'you don't say no... " (that does not suck).

    Learn more about that here:

    http://www.PCWorld.com/article/3073457/Windows/how-Microsofts-nasty-new-Windows-10-pop-up-tricks-you-into-upgrading.html

    Basically (with some variations) three ways to restore your computer to a previous operating system, once it has been upgraded to Windows 10...

    * Best method: restore using a full image backup of the system that you have created in your normal computer maintenance tasks.  If you do not do so during your normal maintenance, you should probably expand it once you get things in the State you want.  If you've done one, but still need help to apply it, just answer here and someone can / will surely help you.

    Possible next method: (with reservations as being less than 30 days since the upgrade, you having not done anything that would affect the three necessary directories to restore like disk cleanup or or using online media creation tool) use integrated Windows 10 to your previous operating system recoverability.  The following link will take you to a web page that explains this method pretty well and completely:
    http://www.CNET.com/how-to/Windows-10-how-to-roll-back/

    Possible next method: use your installation media/recovery media to restore the system to the factory settings and update/install other apps using their media and restore periodic backups / consistent personal and other data.  It is a CLEAN INSTALLATION (from scratch).
