  What email program are you using?  There should be a place in the program to block spammers.  Some you can right-click on the message or the sender and block them from there.  Unfortunately this is useful if you are getting emails from one or more senders.

  You can also try Migration Wizard. See this article. But I'd go with Pondini, the guru of the Time Machine.

  From your post, it seems that at this point you are simply wanting to remove your old iTunes plug-ins. Here are a few steps that will allow to do:

  1. Open Finder
  2. Hold down the Option/Alt key and in your menu bar, click go > library
  3. Find and open iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins
  4. Find and delete the old viewers

  This should stop these alerts that you saw for broken visualizers. See you soon!

  I'm no computer expert and cannot afford to have my iMac cleaned.   At first, I must say that the CPU temperature is certainly not at the level of criticism and there is no reason to panic. Equium L20 is old enough laptop model and I agree with you this book needs to be cleaned.

  What you can do is to buy the vacuum but on this path the laptop will not be cleaned properly and a lot of dust will still be inside. What you need, it's a professional cleaning. In this case laptop must be disassembled. In this case, you can have access to the cooling rack and the cooling fan.

  How to do this? It is not so easy. Disassembling the notebook must be done on the right path as a result of maintenance manuals. Unfortunately, it is not a public document.

  I bought a new MBP a few months ago and have not had time to properly set up immediately. I finally get to it and have met some problems with my iTunes library transfer and re-use of my music files on an existing external drive. I always kept my music files on a separate drive in order to keep the laptop drive as empty as possible for other tasks.

  News old MBP:

  OS x 10.6.8

  iTunes 11.4

  Library was on the hard drive of the MBP

  Music files were on an external drive, called 'LACIE_MINI '.

  New Intel MBP:

  10.10.5 OSX

  iTunes 12.3.2.35

  I copied the old iTunes library to the same location on the new MBP and he watched the iTunes. Load library very well however, even if the LACIE_MINI drive is connected to the laptop, the files cannot be located in iTunes. When looking for the location of the file under 'Get Info', it points to the correct place (file://localhost/Volumes/LACIE MINI/music //) but it won't "find" and play the audio file.

  To make things a touch more confusing to me, I bought a WD MyCloud NAS with the intention that she be host store all my files music and video. My goal was to eliminate the need to always have my external plugged in when you work with iTunes. I don't know what is the reliability of this facility would be.

  From there, I have a few questions:

  You copied into the folder full of the record of the music user account from the old Mac to the same location on the new Mac iTunes ?

  I noticed that the external drive is named LACIE_MINI on old Mac.  The new Mac, in the path of the song file, he says LACIE MINI with no underscore between the words.  Is it a typing mistake in your post or the real difference?

  For your other questions, a directly connected external drive is more reliable and faster, as the location of your iTunes media files.
