  I'm working on the Oracle forms 6i. I have a custom query search window (do not use the Oracle QUERY_FIND seeded window feature). Build manually (BLOCK_1 and WINDOW_1).   Thanks for the update. I tried KEY-EXIT, WHEN now-BLOCK-INSTANCE, KEY of VALIDATION, but unfortunately these triggers are not fired. I found the work around that.
