How to take backup Firefox bookmarks manually and put in Favorites in Explorer

I just changed jobs. My last job used Firefox, my new job using the Explorer. I did a manual previously to the top of my favorites from Firefox. Is it possible now to get them to explore?

For compatibility between browsers, you should have exported your bookmarks in HTML format.

Create a new profile in a Firefox installation and restore this json file, then export as HTML . You can that new profile when trash Your ' e done if you won't.

How to take backup for VCSC, VCSE, MCU and TMS. I'm new in the world of video. A brief step by step would be appreciated.

You can back up each server by following these steps:

For VCS, see "Backup and recovery of data from VCS" section in the Cisco VCS Administrator Guide X8.5, page 340.

For MCU, see "upgrade and save the MCU" section in the Cisco Telepresence MCU series online help 4.5, page 212.

For MSDS, see back up and restore SQL Server databases you will back up the database of TMS 'tmsng' of the SQL Server itself.  It could either be hosted locally on the TMS server if you have installed TMS with the default settings, or an external user provided SQL server.

  • How can I import Firefox bookmarks, now stored in the folder of the user on the same PC (new), in Firefox?

How can I import Firefox bookmarks, now stored in the folder of the user on the same PC (new), in Firefox? I exported my old PC Firefox bookmarks in a folder [Windows 8] on my new PC.
When I use the ease of importing from Firefox, it will only import a bookmark at a time - and then it inserts the bookmarks all the main pages on the site marked with a bookmark, not just the one I initially put bookmark. Also, it does not matter the information stored in the bookmark tag.

    Sure thing.

    1. Open the dialog box run by pressing the Windows key by pressing R
    2. Type of %appdata% in the immediate window and press ok
    3. Open the Mozilla folder
    4. Open the folder of Firefox
    5. Open the profiles folder
    6. Copy the folder that is located in this folder on a USB
    7. Install and run Firefox on the new computer
    8. Closing of Firefox
    9. Repeat steps 1 to 5 on the new computer
    10. Open the folder that you copied from your old computer
    11. Copy the contents of this folder into the folder inside the folder of the profile on the new computer
    12. Allow Windows to replace all records in doubles with those you are copying to the computer is prompted

  • How to take backup of spfile file before change.

    Hello

I use oralce 10.2.0 on win 2003 server. my
Automatic shared memory management is enabled. I want to take backup of spfile using
    sql> create pfile from spfile;

My pfile file created in C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\database\initneo.ora

    now I change some as
    SQL> alter system set sga_max_size=1740M scope=spfile;

    System altered.

    SQL> shutdown immediate
    Database closed.
    Database dismounted.
    ORACLE instance shut down.
    SQL> startup
ORA-00385: cannot enable Very Large Memory with new buffer cache parameters

then i try to restart my database from backup of spfile but it is useless

    SQL> startup pfile='C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\database\initneo.ora'
ORA-00385: cannot enable Very Large Memory with new buffer cache parameters

then i start my database with default pfile in

    C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\neo\pfile
the error is not my concern.

    1. I want to know how to take backup of your spfile so I have the error case, you can restart the database backup spfile. in my case, which does not work.
    2. How can we get our database if spfile and pfile both are corrupt.

    Thank you
    Umesh

    Hi again!

Have you looked at what is the meaning of the ORA-00385?

It has nothing to do with CREATE PFILE FROM SPFILE or RMAN backup of spfile.

    Best regards

  • How can I copy restored c:\documents and settings\myusername\favorites\bookmarks at tab bookmarks Firefox bookmarks?

My computer crashed and I had to restore it to its condition of purchase (2008). I had backed up all my data on Mozy. After the restoration of 12 GB of files, the 'Favorites' folder is in C:\Documents and Settings\myusername\favorites. The old shortcuts are in the folder, but I can't have them at my bookmarks Firefox tab. How can I do this?

You can't do it this way. Those are the Favorites of IE and Firefox can't handle these files. You need to export your IE Favorites in bookmarks.htm format so that you then import this file into Firefox.

    In Internet Explorer:

File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

    then in Firefox:

Bookmarks > show all bookmarks-> import and backup - import HTML... = HTML file

Firefox did an update to 'work seamlessly with Win 10'. When Firefox is restarted, ALL MY FAVORITES HAVE DISAPPEARED. I went to the library and tried to restore the bookmarks. It won't! I have a system of computer backup, but no. CLUE where to find my favorites. So frustrated. I have used Firefox for a ton of years and never had my favorites disappear.

  • How to take a photo from facebook and download it to my photos?

I want to take a photo from facebook and save it in my files. How can I do this?

Honestly, I don't think that it is more difficult to tell you how to save pictures, it is to find a specific article and put it in.

Click with the right button on the image, select Save image as, choose where you want to save and click Save.

Is it really so hard to tell who?

  • How to copy my Firefox bookmarks and paste them in another computer?

Ok. I found an answer in a thread here, but it is already closed. I have a supplementary question. The moderator says:
    Quoting:
Depending on what you want to do, there are two options.

If you want to replace the bookmarks on the other computer with the bookmarks from your desktop, use the method in this link to bookmarks in a backup file and then restore them on the other computer - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Backing+up+and+restoring+bookmarks

If you want to add bookmarks from desktop to those that already exist on the other computer, you must export them to a HTML file and import this file on the other computer. Check out these links for more details:

       https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Exporting+bookmarks+to+an+HTML+file
       https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Importing+Bookmarks+from+an+HTML+File

I want to do another - 'add bookmarks from Office to those that already exist on the other computer'
The problem is that my Firefox is version 4.0. I read somewhere in the headings to bookmarks that I should have done nothing before moving to the greater than 12 version.
The thing is my computer is 8 years old and I have only 512 MB of RAM. There is no way to upgrade more than 4.0. My computer can't handle it.

Any suggestions? Can I export and import safely with 4.0?

Yes, if you import an HTML backup then you won't lose favorites.

Only if you restore a JSON backup, you will lose your bookmarks as a JSON backup replaces all current bookmarks with those in the JSON file.
