Now, we want to use the Trend Micro Titanium Antivirus, which is the software solution that adds a life of Pc technical support subscription. Now, I was not protected because of this undesirable Norton.  Although I call for support for them, they sent a link to get rid of Norton, but it did not work. I am very angry to lose time to do all this work, calls, this report by filling... I'm busy and can care for Norton, but to hate him. Please take note of this issue and do not expose customers time to lose with the unwanted stuff... as if I have time to waste.

  It is not recommended to install antivirus on Mac applications unless you want a computer unstable and crashing. OS X is extremely secure and must be kept up-to-date to stay. AV, cleaning or ANY other third party are tools to keep the OS X works well are a total waste of time, energy and resources system.

  I know that with AVG, you must visit the AVG site to install an uninstall program to remove the program... seems absurd, I know, but that's what's happening with AVG... I don't know if something similar should be done with Norton... but you should be able to disable it... right click that the Norton icon in the tray and you should see options, which will be disable IT are other ways, I don't know, but I haven't used Norton.
