  It's really frustrating.  I have an Officejet J4580 all-in-one device, and I tried to scan documents to PDF files using the HP Document Manager software.  Unfortunately, every time I try, the cultures randomly my documents software, and it is often difficult or even impossible to uncrop manually the.  The solution I found online was to change the scan preferences in the HP Digital Imaging Manager / Director so auto-cropping is disabled.  Unfortunately, while I can choose if the scanned images are automatically straightened, color corrected and adjusted again, auto-cropping is not be a setting that I can control in my version of HP Director (v. 45.4.157.00).

  Updated HP says I have the latest version on all software, but still I wonder if the fix would be to download a newer version, which might give me the option of auto-cropping.  If so, is anyone know where and how I can download and update my version?

  Help, please.  Scan using the HP Document Manager software is completely useless unless I can disable this feature!

  Just an update.  I noticed that I have HP Solution Center on my other computer, so I used to do the analysis.  He was not even give me the option to enable or disable the auto-cropping, but the document scanned successfully without doing anything cut this time, that's all that matters.  I appreciate your help!

  If you want to deny access from a certain ip address known vpn, then you can do that using an access-control list plan:

  access-list foo deny udp host 1.1.1.1 all isakmp eq

  foo ip access list allow a whole

  Access-group foo in interface out-of-control plan

  (if you have IPsec over TCP or via UDP configured IPsec, you may need to modify the ACL accordingly).

  The option "control-plane" means that this acl is applied to traffic destined to the ASA itself, while a normal ACL apply only to traffic passing by the ASA.

  Due to several factors (change computers, versions of different fonts, etc.), I had to change most of the fonts in my text-heavy document.

  There are a lot of charts and tables in this 125-page document, and now most of all text frames have overset text.

  The new font is in fact identical to the previous one, however, there are a few differences that are causing it take more text frames. I tried to adjust the line spacing in my character and paragraph styles, but these do not seem to effect.

  Is there a way to automatically adjust all frames in excess to account for the new font?

  Not sure that the result will be 100% desirable, but there is a way to define all frames to auto-size...

  Run find/replace and choose the tab object.

  Down, choose the Document research: menu. Choose the blocks of text such as: menu.

  Click the icon of glass/frame next to the search Object Format field:

  This isn't how it works on my machine. OS X 10.11.4 and numbers 3.6.2. That's how it worked for me as long as I can remember: I left numbers and one dialogue askes if I want to save or restore the changes.

  

  I make my selection, and the program closes.

  Numbers of leaves without dialogue? It's very strange for me.

  With Time Machine I can go back to a previous version easily if I need to.
