  My problem is this, my iPod touch (version 9.3.2) needs to be backed up.   I use 12 Workstation on a Dell XPS 15 9550 with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4 k).  I was able to move on virtual machines running Win 7 from another system where the virtual machines were running at a resolution of 1920 x 1080.  These virtual machines are now running at 1920 x 1080 on the Dell.  (I did it by using the VM settings > display and set a max and running full screen resolution).  The problem is that the text and icons are displayed at 150% the size. I can use the Win 7 Desktop > resolution to 100% and everything is the way I need it, but when I do this change, VMware Tools appears saying that I need to log out and back in.  If I do this the text/icons are at 150%.

  How can I get VMware Tools to stop the reset of this size from 100% to 150%?

  > Uncheck the option scale to display "automatically adjust the size of the user interface on the VM.

  > Disconnect and connect when VMware Tools invites.

  > You can now change the font size in the virtual machine to 100%.

  I can't found the maximum number of clusters a vCenter can handle, only the maximum number of hosts per cluster, which is 32... but altogether, you can have more than one cluster without problem.

  Do a little math, since vCenter supports 1000 guests and each group can have 32 guests, maybe you can have at least 32 clusters... but not 100% on it.

• How to connect to iSCSI SAN without compromising security

  Hello:

  How to enable server OSes (VMS or physical host computers) to connect and LUN iSCSI mount without compromising the safety of our ESX host?  We have a few Microsoft servers that need to use iSCSI initiators at Mount MON for MSCS.   We cannot use the ESX initiators because VMware doesn't support iSCSI to virtual storage with MSCS.  We have already read all the documentation and spoke with VMware support, so we know that our only option is to use the iSCSI initiators in Microsoft servers to connect to the LUN.

  Our concern is security.  If we let the servers use their iSCSI initiators to connect to the San, then they also won't have access to our service and the vkernels via the iSCSI network console?  ESX requires that you have a port the service console and the port of vkernel on the iSCSI network for each ESX box that you want to use the ESX initiator for.  We struggle to understand how to connect any machine (virtual or physical) to the iSCSI network to mount LUN without exposing our service and vkernels consoles.  I know that the best practice is to remove this VMs network for this exact reason, but of course many organizations also have physical servers (UNIX, Windows) who need to access their iSCSI SAN.  How people treat this?  How much of a security problem is it?  Is there a way to secure the service console and vkernel ports while allowing host ESX - no access to the SAN?  I know that many of you are facing this exact in your organizations situation, please help.  Obviously, it is not supposed that nobody uses their SAN iSCSI for anything else except for the ESX host.  I thank very you much.

  Check out this blog

  Use of firewall is certainly a step in the right direction for that. If you can't have separate iSCSI networks, then you will need to isolate nodes NON-ESX/VCB iSCSI using other mechanisms. I would certainly opt for firewalls or reduce the redundancy to just 2 network-by-network cards and not 4 to a single network.

  Someone at - it any other suggestions? Surely many ESX users share their iSCSI SAN with a lot of different systems and operating systems. Thanks again.

  They do, but they do not secure their networks for their VMs ESX iSCSI / other physical systems. You have asked a very important question and it's how to connect to iSCSI SAN without compromising safety. If the options are currently:

  1. Physically isolate

  2. Isolate using firewall

  Given that ESX speaks in clear text and does not support IPsec for iSCSI, you have very limited options that are available to you. The firewall you use and charge iSCSI, you send through it will determine if there is no latency. Yes its a cost extra, but if it is an independent network switches/ports/etc.

  PerfMon.exe is a performance monitor. If you run the Task Manager, it turns perfmon and show of the resources used. So if you notice performance monitor using resources when you run the Task Manager to review performance on the applications or processes, just to get account, you use perfmon to see these activities and it uses resources to take sample data of all. Hard drive, processor, ram,... these queries use resources, and that's why you see perfmon navigate your resources as a very frequent process.

  As you can see from the picture, there are little free space next to the D: (10.55 GB) drive. I want to merge the free space with the 5 GB unallocated space and want to create a primary partition to install another version of windows. The problem is that when I right click the free space, the partition option delete is gray. I discovered that to delete the D: drive to get space but I can't do that. Even my backup drive is full.

  This isn't a feature of iOS or iOS app of e-mail. If your camera is actively registered and connected to iMessage and you send to another user filed iMessage to Apple, then the messaging application intrinsically will attempt to send through the iMessage to Apple service.

  The only way to go back to SMS as the default is from you disconnect from iMessage and disable the use of the service on your device.
