How will I know if I have the correct version of Firefox on my laptop Windows 8?

I usually just click on the button "Update Firefox", but now, I wonder if the "beta" version is what I use.

OK, to uninstall Firefox:

  1. Press Windows + C key at the same time to open the bar of charms.
  2. Search for programs and features.
  3. Click on the first result, programs and features.
  4. In programs and features, find Mozilla Firefox, right click and select uninstall.
  5. Go through the uninstall program. (Be sure to not check the option Remove profile information in the uninstall program if you want to keep your Firefox settings!)

Install the normal version of Firefox:

  1. Click here.
  2. Download the installation program.
  3. Run the downloaded file.
  4. Follow the installation instructions to install the normal version of Firefox.
