  Hi guys,.

  When I use navigator.pushView (View) there is a nice sliding transition between two points of view. However, when I use Nativeapplication.exit() () the app ends suddenly, without Visual transition. The PlayBook itself uses a transition when the user completes an app that has been reduced to a minimum (from the Task Manager). I was wonderfing if we can add some nice visual transitions when you leave an app thanks!

  There has been many past discussions you can find.

  There is no consensus.  A lot of apps will not have an output characteristic, then users will certainly learn quickly that they just slide down to reduce, then slide or press to close.

  For some applications, an Exit button or widget is appropriate.  For others, it makes little sense.  Look at your own application and explore how users will work with it and make your own decision.

  The market will lead us, but for now, just guess...

  My first question ever to support:
  WIndows 7 - Firefox 32.0.2 - laptop without touching the screen or press the button (mouse and keyboard only)
  I found plenty of ways to Zoom on a page. However, zoom always anchor upwards to the left. I would definitely make a zoom on the position of the mouse pointer. Usually I focused on a specific part of the content and not the whole page.

  I just "walking" of Windows XP, where everything was going well with Adobe, but now with Windows 7, everything about Adobe 'looks like' different - in particular, I saw not the usual zoom at the top of the screen and spent Sunday afternoon with a magnifying glass. What Miss me?

  Here's how you can get pagezoom controls in the toolbar:

  1. open a PDF document.

  2. place the cursor on the PDF file to the button with a mouse. A control bar floating black will appear.

  3. press the button to "move the page controls in the toolbar" right.

  4. page zoom controls should now display in the toolbar (the keys +/-the % age dropdown).

  If you want other controls to zoom as Magnifier, zoom marquee etc., then you can get the same thing by clicking right in the toolbar area (with a document PDF is open), select 'See the selection and zoom tools' and select the individual zoom tools that you want to display.

• How Zoom you to a point fixed?

  My first music video in a scene is quite annoying, because there is no action, just a guy typing on his keyboard. To add in some movements, I like to have at the start so that all you can see are his eyes, but then it zoomed out to show the whole scene.

  So what I want to do is somehow put his eyes as a fixed point and then zoom out from here. However, I don't know how to do that, because I know not even how to zoom out. I know how to zoom, but not out.

  For transitions, it depends on your version of Captivate. Versions 1 and 2 were a little. Maybe 3 or 4. Captivate 3 has 10. If you want to see them in action, I have a download upward on the Captivate Exchange that will show them to you. You can visit the Exchange by clicking here. My thing is called "Captivate Transition Chooser".

  For zoom effect, it is a Zoom tool of region that appeared in version 2. So you will need to have version 2 or 3 to have available. Basically, you click Insert > Zoom area and get two objects on your slide. One is the zoom area and one is the destination of zoom. Place the zoom box on the area you want to enlarge. Place and size the zoom destination where you want to display what you 'zoom upward. The difference in size between these two areas control the zoom level. The greater the difference, the more enlarged area becomes. Also, there is an option to display a picture as the zoom destination. So, you might have a picture of the box at full size, then a small image on the slide where you want to just zoom to the top and show the largest surface area in a much clearer way.

  You can reduce a project of a higher resolution and a smaller, but keep in mind that at the end of the day when all is said and done, the Captivate projects use bitmap images. Any downward revision will result in a loss of quality. It's because you're taking bitmaps and pushing the image (pixels) set elements. Things look "fuzzy" and is clearer than they originally. If it is a compromise. To do this, click Project > project resize...
