Captivate 3 - zoom - transition - resize

Can I make a selection on a slide and a zoom depending on for example a button or a part of the scene?

Can I make my slides transition effect?

If I record on full screen (1024 x 768) can I resize the whole project at 800 x 640? Another OT size

Hi steenmikkelsen

For transitions, it depends on your version of Captivate. Versions 1 and 2 were a little. Maybe 3 or 4. Captivate 3 has 10. If you want to see them in action, I have a download upward on the Captivate Exchange that will show them to you. You can visit the Exchange by clicking here. My thing is called "Captivate Transition Chooser".

For zoom effect, it is a Zoom tool of region that appeared in version 2. So you will need to have version 2 or 3 to have available. Basically, you click Insert > Zoom area and get two objects on your slide. One is the zoom area and one is the destination of zoom. Place the zoom box on the area you want to enlarge. Place and size the zoom destination where you want to display what you 'zoom upward. The difference in size between these two areas control the zoom level. The greater the difference, the more enlarged area becomes. Also, there is an option to display a picture as the zoom destination. So, you might have a picture of the box at full size, then a small image on the slide where you want to just zoom to the top and show the largest surface area in a much clearer way.

You can reduce a project of a higher resolution and a smaller, but keep in mind that at the end of the day when all is said and done, the Captivate projects use bitmap images. Any downward revision will result in a loss of quality. It's because you're taking bitmaps and pushing the image (pixels) set elements. Things look "fuzzy" and is clearer than they originally. If it is a compromise. To do this, click Project > project resize...

See you soon... Rick

Just upgraded (?) of items 9 to 14 items ... .only to learn that, apparently, Adobe WITHDREW version 14 (or earlier) of the storyboard slideshow with Pan & Zoom, the ability to individually change the style and the duration of transitions and the synchronization of the images.

  • In the 'in elements of first zoom transitions '.

I am changing my clips to move images always in first 8 and I am doing my transitions in the video transitions button. I looked through all of them and I can zoom from a photo to another and the second image "pops" out or on the edge, but I want another 'down' on the following image to Zoom image. I want the focal point in the following image, is it possible to do? In other words as you give depth to the next image. I hope that I am clearly explain to me.

Certainly, you can manually create this effect by using keyframes. Do you know how to use key frames?

  • Zoom window resizing causes

    Hi all

I'm just starting to use CS5 and we found that he has a tendency of resizing of the window whenever I have to zoom in or out. CS3 has maintained the same window size when I zoomed in. Is there a way to make CS5 behave? I also found the behavior to 'consolidate the tabbed windows' annoying, but at least which can be set to 'stop' in the preferences...

  • How to zoom in on an area of an image

I just started to learn the first and would like help on this specific function.

For example, I have a video of me playing a video game and in the video game, there is a chat log.

A player says something interesting, and I want to zoom in on this area of cat for 15 second, emphasizing to viewers, said the player.

I tried use the crop feature, culture journal cat and tick 'zoom', but what he does, it's more than a zoom transition and zoom out only 15 seconds.

Instead, I would like to crop the area and zoom in instantly, 0 - 1 second and 15 seconds, and then from 15 to 16 seconds, zoom out instantly, without transition, movement, etc.

Ahh... to do this, you must have the clip on a track higher that is going to be the 'pip', and it is in practice often have a cache on a track in the meantime, with an empty space or 'clear' in it that the image will be crossed and then scale & position your media pip track located above the matte. With the matte, you can scale the media the better without worrying about the size of the final image..., it will always be the same size "window."

  • Several video transitions are missing in Premiere Pro CC 2014.  Where are they?

I've recently updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014 first Pro cc.  I had worked on a project with several video transitions that were no longer available to the first Pro CC 2104.  I thought that maybe they would come in a future update, but so far I have not seen my video transitions, including several zoom transitions and others.  That's happened?

  • 9 meadow, zoom on a clip?

IM as a video and I want to make the video start zoomed in and she progresses, to zoom out. I know the zoom on the effect, but it's still the same for the entire clip (no movement). I already have a top transition, so I can't use the zoom transition. are there other methods to do the PrE 9?

Of course! It is called motion path keyframing.

I'll devote a chapter in my book to it, step by step. But you can also learn how do by downloading the PDF free "basic Keyframing' of http://Muvipix.com.

Just go type 'base keyframing' in the area of product search on the homepage to find.

  • Zoom in a title.

Hi guys, just wonderd how can I Zoom in a title without the background after the transition too. Say I do a title, it has a black background by default and I want just text to zoom by using the zoom transition, how to stop the black background is also. Ive tried to put a layer of black to a parralell on another video track point, but it does not work. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Ed

Say I do a title, it has a default black background

In fact, a title has NO default background. They seem to have black, according to the location of the ICT in the timeline panel. You can toggle the visibility of the background and select the visible image using the following commands in the Titler:

If you indeed have a black background, you must draw a filled rectangle of black - select and delete that so that the title 'floats' on what substance put you on.

How stop the black background is also, I just text to zoom by using the zoom transition.

Do not use a transition during this manoeuvre; animate the scale properties, instead:

Given that the title has an alpha (for example a transparent background) channel, when you animate the scale, only it moves.

  • resizing image

Using Captivate 5, image resizing dialog box - is there a way to make the blue color of the rectangle harvest a different color in order to make them easier to see, or do the checkered white instead of checkered or lighter?

    Hello Jay,

Was a little confused because in Captivate 5 cropping and resizing are not in the same area of the properties of an image: crop tool is in the Image editing area (only able to stage is there as an option of resizing) and size can be changed in the region of size and Position.

If you were talking about the crop tool, don't believe that you will be able to change these settings. Please file a feature request if you think it's important, understand that some images of the blue line, and the partially transparent fill for the cropping rectangle can be difficult to see. Maybe a bit of workaround: in this case (temporarily) reverses the colors or change in levels of gray, do the cropping and return the original colors. This is very easily done with the Image editing area even.

BTW, the checkerboard is a fairly universal representation of the transparent areas, e.g. used in Photoshop. If it would change into a uniform white, there is no visual difference between a white color space and a transparent space.

  • problem with the transition and external image

Hello! I have a little trouble with the transition to a new state that contains an external image. I want a titlewindow to resize when the user clicks on a button and view an external image. the size of the external image is unknown until it is loaded, so I put the widths/heights to 100%. However, the transition "resize" does not know the size of the image in time and comes alive in a small rectangle...

I discovered how to solve this problem by deleting the passage and making the invisible titlewindow until the image is loaded (using the event 'complete'). Ideally, I would like to use the functionality of transition, however and am curious to know if anyone has any ideas on this point - perhaps triggering the resizing to start once the image is loaded? I can only find a way to display a transition through mxml - this can be achieved via actionscript?

When you use States and there is a tag This means that the child will be added to the display list. The object already exists (a new operation has been made about it). It may not be in a fully realized State first because it has not been added to the display list and therefore his complete cycle of creating the Flex framework has not been executed.

I haven't run the scenario I propose, so it might actually not, but I have another suggestion below.

You should be able to have in the State that when you are ready to load the image, img.source = url; should not give you an error. The question is, without the image being added to the display list, try even to load image from url and trigger the complete event? If it does not trigger the complete event, then you can change the States there.

My alternative is to not put the Image in the State, but leave it in your state of base with a width and a height of zero. Having the button set the source property of the image (or call the load() method). When the complete event triggers switch States.

In your , instead of having an AddChild, you'll SetProperty. Something like this (width, height would be similar):

Now, the transition must simply use the effect of .

  • Export slide show from Photoshop elements 10 problem

I created a sliodeshow with about 150 photos, each about 4 MB. The slides include pan & zoom, transitions and music. I tried to save the file under. WMV (movie) file and everything went well. Within an hour, the 99% achieved progress bar, then the fixed progress bar. No error message appears and the program seems to operate normally. I waited 6 hours to complete, but no result.

Then I tried the same settings, but with only 2 pictures and no music. I got the same results. Any advice available? Thank you.

  • Effects of movement lack of video effects

Hi, I'm doing a zoom transition in my video and I can't find the effects of movement in the menu effects.  I am looking at the title of video and overlay effects and noise and grain are there, but no movement.  I also tried to look for the movement and for the scale and not find them.  2015 first started elsewhere?  Thank you.

The effects of movement are "fixed effects" that are always available

for each video clip after it is placed in a timeline.

-Select an item in the timeline panel

    -Show the effect controls panel

As far as I remember, it has always been the Motion application process / scale.

  • THE OFFSET! (with video)

    I can't even...

    Just look at.

The problem with the issue of delay, it's that there are SO many reasons why it could happen that it is insoluble. I keep seeing all these posts on here of people complaining about the first being lag and insensitive, but nobody knows what to do about it.

    So here once more.

    My computer specs:

    Graphics card:

I have 3rd-party plugins installed - like Magic Bullet Looks, the problem FilmIpact, Pan and Zoom, transitions from Andy Swoosh, day night, FX Factory light leaks, etc...

And my social security number is... JK!

Yes, I know I have a very basic setup, and my computer is not new. But still - 26 seconds of delay? Where is that lightning quick Premiere Pro I've heard? I confess that I don't know much about the specs of the computer, but I know that I don't have enough for what I'm trying to do. After all, it's basic 720 p!

    So what's next?

The first reason you have poor performance is your USB drive, it is more likely USB2 and you'd be lucky with 25-35 MB/s transfer rate.  Then, your unusable nVidia card with hardware acceleration of Adobe MPE GPU because it does not have the necessary ~ 1 GB of video RAM.  The use of the any of these plug-ins is another cause of slow response time and isn't a problem for Adobe to solve.  Your dual core CPU T9900 with without hyperthreading is another bottleneck.  For the performance you really need a quad-core with hyperthreading processor.  Sorry, but you need new hardware.  ProRes is very demanding, CPU-wise and Disk-wise, here is some information on our website first Pro BenchMark (PPBM), unfortunately this is strictly oriented PC but take a look at this information about your ProRes 422 Codec.

  • Help Pic Intro

Hey. so I have a photo I want to use it as an intro to my movie and I want to start small, and then zoom in really fast. For example, the film would be initially and it would be a black screen.

    Shot005 (2).png

Then a photo seems to be emerging black and keeps getting bigger and bigger until it gets on this big.

    Shot006.png

Then begins the actual video. How would I go to do this?

    Zeifly,

Place the image on the timeline and add a 'ZOOM' transition by lining up at the start of the image.
