HP-039tx: HP e039tx RAM mode dual channel

I want to activate my RAM mode dual channel... can someone tell me the process to do this? I already checked in CPU - Z it is currently in single channel mode.

Hello

It's a laptop HP Pavilion 15 -e039tx? The following link shows its specifications:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03802585

He now has 4 GB of RAM and seemed that a single (unique) slot is corresponding to use. If you want to run double channels (two), you must add 4 GB more to the second slot. CPU - Z already tells you the specifications of the existing RAM. Now please go buy 4 GB more with the SAME type of RAM (and better SAME brand) then information from the manual next (page #53) allows to add more RAM to your computer (to make the 8 GB total)

Kind regards.

You will be very happy if someone As the same model of laptop and exactly these modules. I just recommend using modules of RAM recommended. These modules are tested and you will have no problem of compatibility.

Kingston modules are very good quality products, and I believe that no one reported any compatibility problem. If you visit the Kingston's support page you can find all module compatible with your laptop.

  • Dual channel mode is not enabled on the Satellite P50T-B-10V

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop by Satellite P50T-B-10V.

Everything works fine, but I saw in the software helped that it s not activated for 1The memory channel mode, although the chipset support this mode.

How can I solucionate what mind?

    + Memoria driver +.
    + Type Dual Channel (128-bit).
    + Modo Activo single channel (64-bit) +.

I hope that your answers! Thank you!

Dual channel mode can be activated manually.
Mode dual channel will be activated and used automatically if all of the requirements be fulfilled.

    What does that mean?
Well, to use the two channels, you need two memory modules and both modules need to support dual channel.

The Satellite P50T-B-10V seems to be equipped with a module of 8 GB RAM

solved by pulling the top slot (internal) then reinstalling in the battery top housing expansion slot. now duplicate channel with rate showing 1 t instead of 2 t. excellent.

  • G7-1329wm Pavilion: 1329wm RAM Dual Channel. Update the bios?

I bought 8 gigs of RAM laptop for my G7-1329wm Pavilion. Here it is:

    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B00OUK919M?PSC=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00

It is already much faster than what I had before. My problem is that I expected to run at a speed of 2133 MHz and dual channel mode. CPU - Z does not have these results.

The two RAM slots show the same thing.

It made me start to wonder. Maybe my cell phone does not support dual channel mode or these speeds. So I was wondering if I could do a BIOS update if everything goes well accept more modern equipment and their speed. I checked in CPU - Z that my bios is old path, return from 2012. I couldn't find any support for an update through HP. Can an HP expert please let me know what I can do to get the most out of my RAM speed?

    Repair:

DDR3/1333 MHz (DDR3-1600 (1 GB / 2 GB / 4 GB / 8 GB) modules of memory supported as an alternative source for the DDR3-1333)

So max the card/motherboard/BIOS processor speed will allow the memory runs is at 1333 mhz. I'm frankly surprised the memory you have installed works at all. It's the equivalent of putting gasoline in an engine that can be only ordinary.

The problem goes well beyond BIOS. The chipset can operate at the maximum of 1600 mhz, and HP has set up to run at 1333.

    It is the specified memory:

    Memory modules (DDR3 10600 1333 MHz 2): 4 GB 621569-001

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-621569-001-1333MHz-PC3-10600-SODIMM/DP/B005UF674S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1457907477&SR=8-1&keywords=621569-001

It may seem paradoxical, but your laptop can actually run a little faster and in double channel if you put in the slower memory. You can see there is a lot of information in gray in the CPU - Z I think because the system is not able to see all the technical features of memory, that she does not expect to be there.

  • Pavilion dv7-1285dx option upgrade RAM / dual channel question

Hello.  I had a few questions on my laptop dv7-1285dx I bought last January.  I explore the idea of upgrading the RAM, and I went on the site crucial and pulled these specs.

It says that my system has 8 GB of memory dual channel max capacity, but from what I read here on these forums double channel really only works when you have 2 identical modules in each slot, right?  Well, my system came at HP with 1 x 4 GB and 1 x 2 GB installed modules standard package.  (I'm running Vista x 64).

So, if this is the case, this does mean that I'm not running in double track right now and my computer is a drop in performance right out of the factory?

Another question I have is my stick of memory from Samsung.  Would I be hurt me if I bought just a stick of 4 GB of crucial and kept the other stick of 4 GB of Samsung and used these two together?  Or is it better to use two Samsung or two Crucial sticks identical?  The sticks have to come from the same kit for best performance?   (IE - in the case of the Samsung, I would of course order a single module if I went this route and kept the original I have now).

If I increase the RAM, is there anything else I need to do in the BIOS to enable function dual channel (if I don't have it right now) other that physically install the sticks?

    Thank you very much.

Molvitz has clarified a bit. For memory dual channel sticks must first be the same size (2 x 2 GB or 2 x 4 GB for example) and they must be the same speed and latency times. If you shuffle the cards to Flash the same size you will probably but not certainly have dual channel operation. If you put two identical poles, you are also sure that it is possible to be that they will work in dual channel mode. I have not tried to set up a laptop with 2 x 4 gig of RAM sticks and I believe that there could be problems with channel double use, as mentioned, because this product (4 gig laptop RAM sticks) is so new. I can speak from experience wide enough that what I say above applies to 2 x 1 gig and 2 x 2 GB.

I want to know who my Satellite M70 376 has Dual Channel Ram?

    Hello

I can confirm the information that the laptop uses and is compatible with DDR memory modules.
As far as I know there should be 2 memory banks that allow you to insert two modules.
As mentioned, you might improve memory to max 2048 MB of ram. (2x1024Mo)

Two customer memory accessible/upgradable module housing Support for DDR3L (1600 MHz) dual channel supports to 8192 MB RAM system in the following configurations: ● 8192 MB (4096 MB × 2)

To ensure operation dual channel, you should get a second module which, as close as possible duplicates, one you have. It is DDR3L-1600 which is low voltage (1.35 volts) and it is low density 8 black blocks on the side, not 4. It's CL = 11 latency. The only memory of Samsung in the second photo you have posted has all the correct specifications, but only a 1 GB module. If you can find one just like it but a concert 4 that would work best in your laptop. Hynix, which I think is a subsidiary of Samsung is the memory you have. Samsung sells the OEM like HP as 'Hynix' memory, but he sells the same memory to the public as "samsung". I think but the man is both types of modules would work together fine. 8 GB (2 x 4 GB modules) is as much as you can install.

  • Aspire Revo R3700 memory does not work in dual-channel mode

    Hello

I have a Revo R3700 a few years now with 2 GB of memory. The PC came with the DDR3 10600 Hynix 1x2GB memory module.

I recently bought a second module of the same 2 GB of the same brand (Hynix) and part number.

After you install the BIOS and Windows detects 4 GB with no problems and everything seems to work fine, but CPU - Z tells me the following:

    (1) it is running in single channel and not dual-channel mode.

    (2) aren't 399 MHz and 800 MHz.

    3) SPD 1/2 bandwidth is 667 MHz and no 1333 MHz.

Do I need a BIOS update or configure something?

Sorry if I mix things up.

    Thanks in advance

    I've attached screenshots below.

Module original stock Acer is on the left. A new one on the right.

The Aspire AR3700 doesn't support dual channel. This system only supports single channel.

  • [x 1 carbon] single channel or dual channel RAM?

I am very curious how the built-in RAM x 1 carbon is arranged? Is channel single or double channel?

    Hello feyi1986,

The carbon X 1 has built-in Dual Channel RAM.

It is suddenly a diagram I have internal carbon 1 X.

As you can see that it is Dual Channel.

The on-board memory is DDR3L and dual channel at 1333 MHZ, of course you travel to the Intel Ivy Bridge on the carbon X 1.

    Hope this helps,

    Alex

  • RAM is the only way but is dual channel configuration.

I have HP Pavilion a6000n, which has these capabilities of memory/features:

    • Dual channel memory architecture
    • Four connectors DIMM DDR2 240-pin
    • Supports the PC-6400 (800 MHz) DDR2 DIMM PC-4200 (533 MHz) and PC2-5300 (667 MHz)
    • Memory non - ECC, unbuffered
    • supports DIMM DDR2 2 GB modules
    • Supports up to 8 GB on 64-bit PCs
    • Supports up to 4 GB * on 32-bit PCs

I recently upgraded from 2x512mb (1 GB) DDR2 PC-4200 to 2x2gb (4GB) DDR2 PC-6400 installed configuration dual channel (connectors DIMM 1 & 3). The BIOS and my CPU - Z application illustrates that the memory works as single Channel.

This would indicate faulty RAM? Limitation of the motherboard? Any ideas? All inputs/advice is appreciated

    Thank you.

Thank you very much! Problem solved.

  • RAM upgrade: have to return another brand - what should I choose and I'll lose dual channel?

    Hi all

I spent some time looking for the forums for someone who faced a similar situation, but I couldn't find one. It was a little surprising, but good...

I have an inspiron 6400 with 1 GB of ram 4300 pc2 occupying only one memory card. I had planned this out when buying with the hope of upgrading in the future (i.e., now!). I understand that pc2 4300 is essentially the same as pc2 4200. cpuz shows me: Hyundai Electronics PC2-4300, DRAM: 266 MHz, FSB:DRAM 5:8. (?? This looks like a very impressive RAM stick, I'm right?). I can post more specifications if necessary.

I went on this Crucial ram site and had my system analyzed with their analysis tool, and recommended a second stick of RAM, but this time it's a pc2 5300 (667 MHz). My system is capable of dual channel, but my question is this: if I pair the pc2 installed by dell 4300 RAM with this stick of crucial pc2 5300, I'll have to dual channel? More important, I guess, it will count? I heard the benefit of the performance of the dual channel is about 15%, is that correct?

Everywhere that I've read, people point out that the two RAM sticks must be identical, but identical in what? Capacity will be the same, is it enough?

The other option is to buy a kit of 2 (5300) GB of crucial, but I had rather not throw a good stick of pc2 4300. Is this a good stick of RAM?

    Thanks in advance

  • HP 15-af153ur: is dual channel ready? 15 - af153ur

    Morning!
(Card mother, cpu or something else) take in dual-channel mode memory?
I am trying to set up two identical memory sticks, but cpu - z always indicates that the memory works in single channel.
The same memory sticks worked quite good in double channel on the other laptop.

    Hello

It supports the dual channel, given that the processor of AMD E2-6110 memory controller has only a single channel for both RAM memory modules (DIMM)
