  Looks like some system files on your computer is damaged. Try using the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files.  To do this, follow these steps:

  You can try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

  -Click Start > type turn on or off windows features > click Windows turn on or off features in the results

  -In Windows features, expand games > expand Internet games > uncheck asset stings on the Internet

  Click OK

  Thank you very much. In fact I recently did a large part of what you have described here. The process was somewhat different, because I have my printer is installed as a network printer wired for ease of use in all of my home network. But I did essentially the same thing: I removed all traces, I could find drivers, rebooted, disconnected from the network printer, printer connected in network (I don't use USB, learn from the mistakes of the past, then reinstalled WIndows 8 drivers from the Web site.) They seem to work for printing and scanning. (However I am not banking in the long term, I had my previous machine to work to Win 8 for a period of time, so it didn't.)

  Anyway. It is a pleasure for me to have to work for now. But I am confused as to why none of the three Canon support people I talked about this problem had no idea that the pilots would work. They all told me to sit and wait.

  Everyone out there in the thought of Canon-land on installation win 8.1 - I uninstall all the software on my machine, made the upgrade, then reinstall the drivers, that would probably solve many problems. (I got also remove and reinstall another Canon inkjet printer wifi running).

  I bought dlink dir-835 router and used a computer dell laptop with vista Setup. Both the wireless and the wired connection work just fine. A new acer laptop with windows 7 also works well.

  Now for the problem. I have two older Dell. One is running xp pro spk 3. He has a card of dlink DGE-500 t ethernet. Windows automatically install the drivers. Everything seems fine, but when I plug the ethernet cable it tells me "unplugged network cable. I have reset the router to the default settings. Installation of windows is a clean install. I have not changed any settings. I can not even log in to the router.
  Problem 2. The other dell's xp family. Other clean install, without the addition of service pack that I read that KPS 3A caused some network problems. It's using a trednet txr tegpci. This time it is for me the network local but no internet connection. I ping the router but nothing else. Help!

• DNS error - IE cannot connect to the Internet - Windows XP SP1 :(

  I'm trying to help my brother. We have a Dell Dimension 3000 running Windows XP SP1. The computer has a virus, and a clean installation was completed. That is why, it is show SP1 now that those were records. Everything seems to be OK until trying to connect to the Internet (there's currently IE6). From message which can not find the DNS server.

  I've done several things already including cleaning winsock and winsock2 and reinstall TCP/IP. Manager of network devices is here. I get a ping to the IP address 169.meta XXX but no ping at all outside the site.

  I went into Internet Options menu. I'm lost what to try next. Help!

  Ok. Let me clarify a point. My brother lives in a different House, further away from me. I have the Dell Dimension now home trying to get updated, he had a virus and system has been reloaded. But he was only SP1. I know it will take forever to download and update the machine through dial-up and the disc, he got the ISP did not recognize IE6.

  I find now that I need about 20 pages open at the same time for arbitration.   I have a basic E-Machines with Windows Vista Edition desktop computer. I have 3 GB of ram and 160 GB of hard drive. I own a Link Sys adapter wireless 802.11 G and 2.4 GHZ. My wireless router is a Fritz! Box WLAN 7112 (I'm stationed in Germany, so he is a German router). The Fritz! Case is compatible with Sys Link as he worked very well with any other computer that I put it in place. In addition, my router is working fine with my wireless Xbox 360, Zune HD and my Windows 7 laptop.

  My problem is that sometimes my internet disconnects. Sometimes I'll completely lose internet in total, while at other times, I'll get the sign "local only". I tried to disable the DHCP BROADCAST times manually and through Microsoft, they offer an automatic fix for this problem.
