Window update problem (error Code: 80246008)
I recently tried to run Windows Update only for it to face an unknown error only by giving the error code 80246008. This also seems to affect windows defender which would not be up-to-date and Games for Windows Live that would not download (error code: 80080005).
After a lot of Googling the error code apprently (BITS) Background Intelligent Transfer Service does not work properly. When I try to manually start service (all under administrator privileges), he stops and begins to give this message:
"The service Service on Local computer Background Intelligent Transfer began and stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs. »
Then I downloaded the repair tool BITS (Windows6 0-KB940520 - x 86 - ENU) and ran to try to repair but it states:
"Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) repair is unnecessary at present."I then tried to run Microsoft Fix It, in normal and aggressive mode, and it gets stuck and gives this error message:
"Service"Background Intelligent Transfer Service"(BITS) was able to start. Check that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. »My version of Windows is Windows Vista Home Premium (Service Pack 2). Thanks for any help you can offer in this area.
After looking at at least 20 different threads through the internet about this problem, my problem showed no evidence of a malware issue fixable (something to do with the malware by changing a registry key for % SystemRoot % and % fystemroot %), or due to other corrections mentioned work. In the end I had to do this that most of the threads, I have finally places frequent, all re - install windows.
Thanks for your help anyway man.

Hello
- What changes have been made on the computer before this problem?
- You are able to go online?
Looks like some system files on your computer is damaged. Try using the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files. To do this, follow these steps:
How to run scan SFC
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option
5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all of the necessary files any replacement SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

Satellite A135-S4527 - Windows encountered problem & fails to load
At startup, Windows attempts to load, but I get the message Windows encountered problem communicating with a device. Windows does not load.
Tried all attempts for load in SafeMode etc but no luck. Tried to load the Toshiba Recovery utility but still no luck.Fortunately the data is saved, but I have no recovery disks.
How can I get the recovery disc for this machine for delivery here in the United Kingdom when it is a product of the USA?
If the recovery discs can be ordered in the United States where to order? (I have an address to the United States for delivery if necessary).Hello
As far as I know here in Europe, you will not be able to recovery media order for the laptop models to the United States. If you have a person in the United States, they must contact the nearest authorized service provider and order it for you. Later they send it to you.
If you need to address and http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp?nav=Repair&sn=false check phone numbers

p6310f: Windows Update problem
When you try to upgrade to windows 10 I received the error message 0 x 80080005 - 0 x 90016 after watching in Microsoft support forum, I found that the problem was related to windows 7 is not not to date. I checked and found that my computer has stopped udating a couple of years. I tried to run Fixit MS that has not worked. Tried to reboot (BITS) and got ERROR 126 (module not found) I then followed the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2700567 on how to reset the Windows Update components. During the process, I have the following errors:
Mshtml.DLL loaded, but the dllregisterserver entry point was not found.

I guess my question is what I have to do a restore of the system under windows 7, before I can upgrade to windows 10? Or y at - it another way?
Hello glockrow ;
Let me welcome you on the HP forums!
I read your post about windows update problems and wanted to help.
I would that be able to say that updating to Win10 was an exact science where we know exactly how he does it, and what it should - but the flooding of this and other instances of Win10 problem after that problem indicates that, at best, we are all guessing. So, I think, from what I've read and done on my PC, is that you SHOULD be able to avoid the problem of missing updates by updating using Win10 created using this MS link media: 10 Windows Installer using the media - Windows help authoring tool
After you create the DVD or USB, NOT boot from it. Instead, insert it into your PC and, if it does not auto-start, right click on the file setup.exe and run it.
HOWEVER - and this is important - PC Win7 have a rate low success updated Win10 without problem - primariluy lack of OEM Win10 drivers. Typical problems include display artifacts (to cause to be obliged to use the driver for the card of Microsoft Basic), not wireless and touchpad problems. The drivers Microsoft provides have only the most basic features, with none of the extras that the HP drivers bring to the stage.
It is further complicated by the function Win10 GoBack, whereby you can return to your original operating system, being known to be unreliable. So when your upgrade machine malfunctioning, only then you discover that you cannot return the machine to work, that you had originally!
You can protect yourself against ending up with a damaged machine - seriously considering using a free third-party product that works for airport Imaging/restoration - Macrium Reflect.
Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.
What I recommend is the following:
(1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
(2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
(3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key
NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.
So now you can recharge before with the upgrade, knowing that whatever happens, you will be able to return to your currently works in a few minutes.
Good luckI'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

Active window color problem - cannot change the background color
original title: Active window color problem
By right-clicking: Desktop, then click on: personalization / window color and appearance / settings (Advanced) appearance, Windows user can assign a background color of the active window in any application. This is useful for those of us who don't want a stark white screen; We can assign a mild pastel tint which may be easier on the eyes for long term sessions.
At some recent point, I lost the background color of the active window within Windows uses 'household. I still not my background color assigned in any application I run (Word, Mail, etc.), but using Windows Explorer to navigate through my hard drive, the active window is now always the default stark white Windows. How this change and can it be forced to adhere to the assigned active window background color?

First of all
KB3138612 would be the last for a manual installation
The first would actually KB3145739
Homepage for all versions,
https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039
After that you manually install you KB3153199
I would also like to before doing this,
Be sure and go to uninstall a program and see which Microsoft Net framework you have installed.
4.5.2 is more consistent to have installed,

After the last updates of windows have problems with start up and now drivers
Hello
After the last updates of windows have problems with start up and now drivers. I get an error code 21 when I try to install the drivers AMD apparently missing.
May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update
Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).
Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.
Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."
Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update
Thank you
