  Yesterday I bought for laptop model # 15 - d018TU, product hp: F7P99PA #UUF, serial number: [edited by Moderator] I then installed windows 7 (64-bit). Everything else seems to work fine except internet. When I open Network Center and sharing centerto set up a new connection, it says "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking". Also the drivers for the Bluetooth controller, Ethernet controller, network controller, PCI Simple communications controller, SM Bus controller and USB controller are not being updated, and I can not update as i do not have any internet access.

  Not sure what you mean by "display port"...  The dock connector of the original iPod (2001) is a FireWire port.  You really have an original 1st gen iPod, with a (not key or click) scroll wheel that physically turns a circle?  Looks like this
