HP 15-n020nr USB 3.0 drivers Windows 7
I installed windows 7 because this computer has ran so slow with windows 8 the day I got it new. Now it works super fast with windows 7 after a nightmare to find windows 7 drivers for it. The only rider that I can't find any for the USB 3.0 ports, they do not work in windows 7 right now. Any help?
Found the divers who worked, use them if you have the same problem.

Equium L20 - USB 2.0 drivers
Right, done a fresh install of XP on my girlfriends laptop. I've got every update unique Windows available - including all service packs. I also installed every single driver and the patch on the Toshiba site. I literally ran out of drivers to install (before someone directs me to the page pilots!).
Then... uh, there seems to be no way to get USB 2.0 working for this laptop? I searched through all the docs from Toshiba & manuals on this laptop, but nowhere he'll tell me what chipset is installed (which could bring me to the USB 2 drivers), or where the USB 2.0 drivers.
Then... Someone knows:
the chipset of the laptop?
the manufacturer of the USB 2.0 controller?
or just a beautiful link to the download that I need?I ran a little research through this forum and it seems that I m not the only one with this problem (all items are listed as unresolved?)
Thanks in advance...
Hello
Please don't be crazy about me, but you're the next who cannot understand that there is no USB 2.0 drivers and that you will not find it anywhere. If you check the document instructions facilities with a full list of things that need to be installed did you find the USB 2.0 drivers.
I don't know what problem you have, but for the installation of the OS use Windows XP Home with SP2 integrated only. After doing this install all the stuff following this order of installations. When you install the right chipset driver all USB ports should work. Any substance is available on the Toshiba download page.

Hello
The driver USB 3.0 on computers with processors / AMD chipset is contained in a single installer:

What usually happens is that may also require two additional drivers:

If usb 3.0 drivers automatically settle, then you will need to do one of two manual methods to install.

USB device recognized on Windows 7, but not Windows XP
Last week, some of my USB devices need not be recognized on my Windows XP SP3 laptop.
First of all, it happened with 2 external USB HDD connected via a mini USB hub. Connecting them individually did not solve the problem. The error I got was:
USB device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has worked and Windows does not recognize.
More importantly, the laptop is no longer recognizing my USB thumb drive, which works perfectly on my Windows 7 machine to work.
Can I reinstall my USB drivers? Just remove the USB devices, reboot and let Windows reinstall them? They need to be specific to the manufacturers of the drivers?
I deleted it and reinstalled my hubs USB Device Manager etc, but a device is not installed correctly: mass storage controller. It is of course preventing me from accessing the USB and external hard drives. Where can I get the drivers for this if Windows XP does not have?Sure that the key USB is FAT32 (the default format)I went in the properties of the mass storage controller in the Manager of peripheral and copied the device ID. I did a Google search and was surprised to find that it was a card reader. I downloaded the drivers from my manufacturer Web site, and Windows has detected and installed the drivers for the card reader, as well as the mass storage controller. The USB appears in the Explorer, but shows 0 items. I haveAfter the reboot, the USB is not in Windows Explorer, and when I unplug and reinsert an error comes up saying the USB device is not recognized and malfunctioned. The solution was to turn off the laptop, remove the power cable and leave it for a few hours, before feeding it back.
Windows detected and installed the device very well then.
I don't think that I understand perfectly why he fixed.

Peripheral USB has malfunctioned. Windows does not recognize it.
Peripheral USB has malfunctioned. Windows does not recognize it.
Hello
· What is the exact error that you receive when you try to connect USB?
· Since when are you facing this problem?
· Which device you are trying to connect via USB?
· This problem occurs only with a USB device or USB devices?
Method 1:
You can try to plug the USB key into a different USB port and check if you face the same problem.
Method 2:
Also I suggest to Uninstall USB controllersfrom Device Manager and check if it solves the problem. To do so follow the steps below:
(a) click Start
(b) the Device Manager type in the search bar and press ENTER
(c) in device manager, go to the bottom and double click on Bus USB controllers, this will open a list of USB controllers to uninstall all controllers and restart the system this will reinstall all USB controllers again.
Method 3:
I also suggest to run the difficulty he provide in the link below
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-solving-problems-with-USB-devices
Method 4:
You can also try to update the latest drivers for chipset on the motherboard manufacturer's website.

I bought and set up a computer about a year ago. It comes with two USB 2 and USB 3 plug-ins, but the USB plug 3 do not seem to recognize anything I plug in it (my current devices are USB 2) told me plug-ins are all backward compatible, so I was wondering if this is something that I have to change in windows, update some drivers, or this means basically half the plug ins on my computer are useless to me?
You can ignore the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter"error, at least for now. Which is used for IPv6 communications. Unless you have an Internet service that uses IPv6 or if you want to use the "Homegroup" feature to configure your local network, you need not IPv6 - yet. See http://appuals.com/microsoft-teredo-tunneling-adapter/
The deadline of 2012 for USB 3.0 drivers is not particularly unusual or troubling.
The problem with the SM Bus controller is a problem. The SM Bus controller driver is included in the chipset with USB drivers driver package. The "unknown devices" are also a bit troubling. You are able to find something about them by looking at the 'properties' of these entries?
You must download and install the chipset driver that is appropriate for your version of Windows. The link you gave earlier, there are chipset drivers for XP, Vista and 7/8. If you can make an image of the system first to do but install chipset drivers should not be a particularly dangerous project.
I would, however, hold off on the update the system BIOS. Although it is not so difficult to update a BIOS, it has a greater risk of causing a serious problem than the simple update of drivers. I suggest you read the first motherboard manuals carefully. I also noticed that there is a "BIOS Update Utility" on the download page you should probably use to update the BIOS - if you decide to do.
As you watch the motherboard manuals (as there are two in the zip to the download page), see the section on USB and make sure that your USB 3.0 ports are enabled in the BIOS Setup utility.

USB 3.0 flash drives doesn't work is not on the USB 2.0 in windows 7
My kingston USB 3.0 does not no flash drives or supported on USB 2.0 in windows 7 and 'The window error' occurred: Windows found driver software for your device, but has encountered an error trying to install.
Hi Faisal,.
What is the brand and model of the computer?
You will need installed USB 3.0 drivers on the manufacturer's Web site work with the USB 3.0 flash drives.
Try the methods provided below and see if they help to resolve the issue.
Method 1:
This problem occurs because the USB 3.0 device is not completely inserted in the port.
The USB 3.0 supports the devices USB 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. The first layer of pins inside the USB connector are for USB 1.0 and 2.0 ports. The second layer of pins inside the USB connector is USB 3.0 ports. Therefore, to resolve this problem, make sure that the USB 3.0 device is inserted in the port.
Method 2:
Uninstall and reinstall the USB drivers and check if it helps.
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
(a) click Start, run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box and then click OK.
(b) click on the Hardware tab.
(c) click on the button Device Manager.
(d) expand Bus USB controllers.
(e) each device under the node Bus USB controllersright click and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
(f) restart the computer and reinstall the USB controllers.
(g) connect the removable USB storage device and perform a test to ensure that the problem is solved.
We know the results.

installation of El Capitan in a mac by usb, but only using windows to create the USB
installation of El Capitan in a mac by usb, but only using windows to create the USB
I'm having a problem to install el capitan on a mac book pro 2009 has changed (dead) to an ssd HARD drive
I can't find that any information how to do this from a windows machine (now only available) of the old system had the lion as I was told and when trying to install lion line or wireless it says it isn't available now so the machine is stuck without an operating system.
If you are anywhere near an Apple Store, I would suggest bringing your MBP to and asking to help. For USB, you need to partition and format to allow to boot on a Mac, what Windows can not do. Then either create a bootable installer or install OS X on USB and then copy the installer it, boot from it and run the installer with the SSD as a target.
