Hello

I recently bought a laptop HP 15-R033TX and as per the specifications, the laptop should have NVidia Ge Force 820 M 2 GB graphics card, I installed both the Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA Drivers.

PFA the sceenshot of the Device Manager

But it shows only a dedicated memory of 64 MB only in the system.

    Hello:

If the Intel HD graphics driver does not support of your laptop and driver page, try one directly from Intel.

The first file listed is the automatic installation file.

I have in my system NVIDIA GeForce GT graphics video 740M (2 GB of DDR3 memory) dedicated preinstalled. I had downloaded & installed latest updates for NVIDIA which is nvidia graphics driver 335.23, geforce experience 2.0 & physx sytem software 9.13.1220 via hp support assistant following an alert of software update 1 month back after I bought my knees.

    Today, I had update my system due to an error in the charm of research does not register the hp Recovery Manager {, following uninstall & reinstall the last 1 week hp support assistant back (details can be read from this link: Search charm Win8.1 error). in any case looking charm error has been resolved.}

What should I do? Please answer experts out there. Thanks in advance.

    Thank you

Don't use Nvidia go update and download the latest GPU and update Nvidia software update. In this way that you will eliminate any problems during the live update. I have always to download my drivers and then do an installation off line to avoid error a bit direct update that may or may not be detected by the software.

    Hi 2R2,.

    Problems with graphics?

Intel graphics card is integrated on the motherboard and uses of the system RAM.

Your current graphics mode is 1360 x 768. You should be able to use 1920 by 1080 p if intel GPU supports this mode.

Here's an excerpt on the Haswell HD 4770 graphics k i7 4600 GPU:

"The Intel Core i7 - 4770K sells for about $340.

    • Greatly improved performance compared to the last generation GPU
    • DirectX 11 support
    • Maturity of improved driver
    • Turbo Boost to dynamically adjust the graphic clocks
    • Completely silent
    • Bitstream HDMI Audio taken in charge
    • Capacity overclocking of the extra GPU via the multiplier to change
    • DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4 1.2 and 3D support
    • Dedicated transcoding hardware

    • Performance of GPU limited
    • Not available on LGA1150 (with embedded DRAM) GT3

8.6 new Haswell Intel processors provide a performance improvement of 25% good for the integrated graphics core platform socket 1150. Motherboard vendors may choose a faster graphical heart, called 'Iris', but it's only for the processors that will be soldered to the motherboard.
Our tests not only sees that Intel has improved performance, but pilots were also stable, and I did not notice errors rendering, or similar problems. Looking at the performance, the HD 4600 Graphics solution is just much too slow for any serious game, even at 1280 x 800. I chose 'High' quality for each game settings before starting the test and was apparently too optimistic. Framerates are far playable, but I could imagine some games to be playable if you choose absolute lowest settings and play at low resolutions, which certainly will not deliver the right PC - gaming experience.
Compared to other graphics solutions low-end, we see performance 25% slower catches up quickly to the APU from AMD, but Intel and AMD has not improved with their latest processors of Richland.
Bottom line: If you want to make serious games, don't expect Intel integrated solution to provide a decent experience. Instead, save the money on the CPU and spend it on a real graphics card. Even a $100 Radeon HD 7750 or a card over the last five years will considerably improve the framerates. You, on the other hand, will be fine with an integrated solution if everything you use your PC for YouTube, Facebook, office productivity, and browser games. »

  • Dedicated vs graphics integrated Intel graphics card?

I intend to buy a new laptop - main use is MS Office, watch movies / live webstreams and navigation. However, I use it for video editing occasionally using a software called 'Pinnacle Studio MovieBox'. This software has a reqmnt to ' direct x 9 or 10 compatible card graphics with 128 MB.

Currently, I have HP G42-478TX, which works very well.

I am looking to buy a new laptop, if I go for an i3/i5 intel core (windows 8/10) laptop with integrated (NOT) graphics card, it will be enough to run the above software? Or I need a dedicated type NVIDIA graphic card?

You have the ATI Mobility HD 6370 with 512 MB dedicated. Run Intel HD 4600 or 5000 embedded video will give similar performance.

I don't think they make Studio MovieBox anymore and you can be sure that it is running on Windows 8.1 or 10 which is what is going to have a new laptop, as you said, you understand. Assuming he'll you will have no problem with a laptop with integrated Intel video. The program and the video capture device are released about 10 years ago. You can have the chance more to run the program in compatibility mode, and you also may need to install the older DirectX support. Pinnacle was purchased by Corel and then I kind of lost track of them. Their support is pretty sketchy these days. I use one of their devices to Dazzle with an old cell phone to capture video from VHS and turn it into DVD and I got to run on Windows 10 using the old Windows Vista software accompanying then chances are your device can be implemented, too.

  • NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped from working properly.

well, I have a HP pavilion dv6000 with windows vista. my laptop has a recurring problem: the screen stop working there are lines everywhere and the mouse becomes what looks like a saw. You must restart it or put it to sleep. It keeps recurring more frequently and after about 3 - 5 times, the computer will not restart in any. Ive done system restore, and then when I'm running again, he looked for a solution to the problem. I received this message:

«NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped to work properly.» an update of the driver, as appropriate, could prevent this problem does not happen. "and then there's a list of about 5 options on how to update. I did the first two (check the windows automatically updated and manually update the driver). Update Windows provided nothing driver associated. When I went to update manually, it says the best driver is already installed. When I had clicked on my driver it says that everything was working properly.

This has happened several times, ive just saved and deleted most all of my computer.

    Here's my driver information:

After the update that precedes your video/display readers.

Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your

This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device

updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • nVidia graphics disappeard Manager devices, unable to re - install the driver.

Three days earlier, when I start my computer it didn't detec my offboard nVidia card (detected only my onboard Intel graphics card). When I tried to re - install the nVidia Driver, I get the error: "this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware.

I browsed the community and found someone who had a similar problem (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/nvidia-graphic-card-does-not-show-up-in-device/d773c616-7767-47c0-94be-b35d77727941)

    So I tried the following:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Method 1:

First of all, I suggest you to run the following Microsoft Fixit to get the problem automatically detected and corrected. This fixit checks if the device is currently disabled or turned off or the driver is not installed.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

    Method 2:

Sometimes, some devices in Device Manager are hidden by corrupt or missing drivers.

Follow the steps below to view devices hidden in the device manager and troubleshoot accordingly.

    1. Press the Windows key + X
    2. Select prompt (Admin)
    3. Type set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1 and press enter
    4. Type Start DEVMGMT. SMC and press ENTER.
    5. Once in Device Manager hit the view menu and select Show hidden devices.

From there, remove every instance of the Nvidia card you see as well as each unknown device. Quit Device Manager and reinstall the latest you can find for your graphics card drivers.

After installing the drivers, reboot and see if you get different results.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't worked out, so I updated my BIOS, re-installed all the drivers of my motherboard and the problem is still...

I have a motherboard Intel DH55HC Hunter Cove, I have not any material changes before the problem and the graphics card cooler works great when the PC is turned on.

    Can someone help me please?

So three years ago, you didn't do no software changes is? Not the new drivers and Windows updates?

    The Nvidia gpu, btw?

-If the machine has been moved or struck some dust may have got into the PCIe slot.

With the machine unplugged, remove the card, clean the slot with a small brush and reposition the map.

    and the power/s connector.

-Do you have a System Restore Point that dates back to before that you had first of all the problem?

If so, do a restore at this time there can help, if the card is not failing.

-Try the card in another machine, or another card in your machine, would also help determine

    If the card is faulty.

-I think that the Nvidia card should show in Manager devices without worrying, but after the BIOS update

have you checked in the BIOS to check graphics Nvidia isn't somehow it disabled?

EDIT: After looking at the other thread, I see you have uninstalled and reinstalled the

    NVIDIA drivers already-

-Drivers Nvidia graphics and components (PhysX, etc.) still listed in programs and features?

If so, try to uninstall, reboot, and reinstall this driver

(If you did not remove the Nvidia folder in C:\ you can reinstall the drivers from there.

It is there that the installer download you "unpacks" the files before installing).

My problem is when I turn on the PC and wait a few seconds red and white vertical stripes begins to appear on the LCD and it cannot go after the BIOS password screen. I can type the BIOS password but when I hit OK or button that ENTER the laptop freezes. ([See image 2 | http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh242/hardousss/PC2.jpg])

In very rare occasions where the laptop was turned off for a long time, I listen to him on and he could overcome the BIOS password screen but freezes after a while: ([see Image 3 | http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh242/hardousss/PC1.jpg])

I plugged it to an external monitor and nothing has changed.
I removed the inverter (responsible for the lightning of the LCD screen) and the problem is still there.

Always to blame the graphics chip from NVIDIA.
I read here that it is not possible to replace them because they are soldered to the motherboard. But I want to, where can I get a laptop NVIDIA graphics chip. They sell somewhere?
I have a friend who works in an electronics manufacturing company (SAGEM) and told me that they have the tools needed to replace any piece on any Board of Directors.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I agree with you. It must be a faulty graphics card. I put t believe you can buy a graphics chip separately but you can buy mainboard used laptop on eBay. In my view, Exchange Board is no problem for you.

    Hi Thomas

    That s a pity :(
Especially the GPU (graphics chip) is attached to the motherboard. He welded s and replacement is not easy.

There are several Lepidoptera, I called the ASP in my country because I needed some info on replacing the CPU on my old laptop and the guy said that the replacement of the CPU or GPU is not easy and is not possible.

Well, what to say I think you should contact the authorized service provider in your country for replacement of equipment.

But I wonder why you come in on costs?
The laptop is about 14 months. If you have registered your laptop on the Toshiba page, you should get a 2 year warranty which should focus on the laptop.

So all pieces of equipment should be replaced for free.
