  In the control panel actions are two boxes next to each action. The first is a check mark and the second looks like one of three things: a red box, a gray or an empty box. If they red or grey area is there then the dialog boxes will be displayed. Turning point of this area on 'stop' should fix your problem.

• LR4 does not auto launch import dialog box after that one card is imported.

  I upgraded to of LR3 LR4.  Works on a new iMac with mountain lion.  LR4 said its updated.

  If I import images of several cards that LR4 will automatically detect the first map and bring up the dialog box import, import the images and then ejected the card.  When I pop in the next map there is no automatic import dialog box and I have to go to the drop-down list so he could start.  When the second card is important it doesn't auto eject and I have to do it manually.  Automatic detection is checked.  Eject after that importation is checked.  And the LR4 app is open (not trying to start LR when I put a card).

  I did some research with no luck so if there is a thread about this please send me the link.

  For testing purposes a couple of things to try:

  1. try to create a new, empty catalog. It works as expected in the new catalogue empty?

  2. If not. Close Lightroom, rename the preferences file, open Lightroom and it will rebuild the preferences file. What is fix?

  I have a program of multiple loop (single loop made data acquisition, analysis and the other to handle errors). If the acquisition loop or loop of analysis was a mistake, I passing that the error in the loop of error through a comprehensive functional Manager (basically, it loads a buffer FIFO loop error handler appears errors off of a at the same time).

What I need the loop of error handler to do is to display a dialog box to the user so that they know something happened.   I'm using Labview 8.2.1 with Windows XP.

  I have a program that allow the user to select a file or folder through the file dialog box.

  For some reason that I do not understand when this dialog box is displayed, in another parallel while loop, execution time will slow down.

  Put on my Panel before LabView command file path without any code and press "Browse" button of file as indicated on attached picture_1 birng slow down execution of the penalty loop.

  Any body could explain why this problem occurs?

  By turning off on setting LabView tools ' file dialog boxes use native "(picture_2). the problem disappear. Unfortunately, this kind of old dialog is not practical...

  I finally understand why my acquisition loop Scanback increases when I use the file dialog box.

  It's because I have too much access (by reference) indicator on front panel as graphics.

  Avoiding the using references, scanback log up a few ms and down quickly.

  In my VI I use 1 and 2 express file dialog boxes prompt the user for input dialogue box. Y at - it any easy way to determine an order of exuction for these express dialog boxes? Or I have to use screws to notify?

• Performance Options dialog box opens automatically at startup

  Since I've upgraded to Windows 7, the performance Options dialog box opens every time that I reboot.  He seems to be indicating that I have no file exchange of value.  I edited this dialog box in every way that I can think - choose to automatically manage paging file size, defining a custom format, etc. and changes I made seem to be accepted.  However, the next time that I reboot, it becomes the performance Options dialog box.  Help!

  This could be a problem if advanced security file [AFS] also known as the Andrew File System option is enabled on the computer, disabling this option help you solve the problem.

  Follow the steps to disable the option below:
  1. click on Start.
  2 type CMD.exe in the search to start.
  3. right click the command prompt.
  4. click on run as administrator.
  5. type the following command: sc config afs start = disabled [Note that there is no space after the start, but there is a after =].

  Now, restart the computer and check if the paging files mentioned above always appears at startup or not.

  When I open a PDF file, Adobe Reader automatically assume I want to print the document by opening the screen of the print dialog box.  How can I disable this function?

  It can be done because of some javascript embedded in the PDF file.

  The best way to confirm who is disable JavaScript option under ' Edit > Preferences > JavaScript "and then try to open the file again.

  Basically, I asked if I could automate the export of my InDesign file to two settings PDF different (one for printing, one for the Web)

  I got it to work, but a step, I can't avoid is having to do facing a dialog box asking where to save the file.

  In an ideal world, I want TO just finished working on my InDesign file, run a script that could automate export to multiple PDF files using my custom settings of the Print and the Web and automatically put the PDF files in a folder (that I put in the script itself - not in a dialog box)

  Here's the script I modifed:

  I am trying to automate the declarant of images of workstation on a remote machine.  I'm using vmrun to kicked after I have the virtual machines on the network.

  The problem: I'm trying to get rid of the dialog box ' you you move or copy "standard.

  The Question: is it anyway through vmrun predetermine this answer (I want copied)?  Otherwise, I think I can add uuid.action to change, but I don't know, it will do exactly the same thing?  T it?  Assuming so, only does it once then not again?

  Exactly, he only "answers" If the location of the virtual machine changes. In such a case, the virtual machine will receive a new UUID and MAC address. However, keep in mind that the VM hostname and SID (in case of Windows) are not affected, you may need to perform additional steps to modify the guest OS if systems operate on the same network.

• Lightroom 5.0 does not automatically open the import dialog box when the inserted memory card

  Lightroom 5.0 fails to detect the memory card and import dialog box open. It has always worked well in Lightroom 2, 3 and 4.  Same cards, same camera, same iMac using OSX 10.8.4. Manual import works OK, the card is detected fine.

  Thank you very much, this TOTALLY WORKED for me.  Win 10, LR 5.7.1.  An inserted SD card of Nikon D7000 in the SD card reader built-in to laptop and Windows automatically started both Lightroom AND automatically went straight into LR import feature.  Perfect.

  (However, if LR is already running, insert the card SD initiates not import feature, despite having turned on the required checkbox in the preferences.)  Nevertheless, it is progress!   :-)

  Whenever I have 'send', one 'Auto Resize Image' > 'Settings' dialog box appears
  How can I bypass this until it becomes annoying.
  Most emails (98%) are not all other images embedded or attached.
  It started to happen after the upgrade to the latest version of Thunderbird, has never been a problem before.

  Doesn't sound like a standard Thunderbird pop up as I fell on it.

  If so, disable it and retest to see if the message stops.
  Make sure you use a current version.
  check to see if there are some parameters you can use to "do not ask again" or similar. Cannot say exactly as I do not use it.

  I use the standard settings of TB to settle for sizing when I insert an image initially.

  I develop a script (in JavaScript) which allows to convert all the InDesign files in a directory specified for PDF files. I'm running into a problem when I run the script because all InDesign files have missing links / fonts.  Therefore, a "Missing fonts" dialog box opens after each InDesign file opens.  I believe that because this dialog box is open, I get the error:

  "cannot process the request because a modal dialog box or the alert is active.

  Again, I'm assuming that my script does not work because the dialog box open "missing fonts.

  Is it possible to remove all the instructions of the user?  I've read some things about the levels of user interaction, however I have not found a way to settle this with JavaScript.

  I'd appreciate any help.
