HP 22-3160na touch screen: My AllinOne is new and its extremely slow and a lot of questions

Link to the product:

http://store.HP.com/UKStore/merch/product.aspx?ID=P1K28EA&opt=Abu&SEL=DTP

I bought this PC on April 25, 2016 and so far, it's the worst PC I've owned in my life!

I made 3-4 comments on this trash and its still not on the UK site!

I don't know if its the terrible material or mine is just a faulty PC.

Questions:

1. my USB ports stop usually work (when I connect a device)

2. not a problem just a stupid thing made HP the HDMI is an output, which means that I can't connect to an output!

3. my PC often just freezes or gal

4. you could say "Your PC is riddled with virus" is not only 6 GB of storage was used and the only things I installed was autodesk, and google sketchup and steam and remote play and unity. I've done MANY anti virus scans using McAfee and AVG and there wasn't anything I uninstalled steam and everything and there is no difference my PC has been extremely slow.

5.i have the feeling that my ram is not working properly; I have 4 GB of ram but 3 GB usable but my PC normally stops when opening microsoft edge it stops just work and shifts.

6. When you exit an application on during a time and back to her he says just "not responding" every time!

7 Dissconectivty questions: I always disconnect from the internet when my wifi does not work. Not my wifi is fast so it should work, I checked my other device and it showed my wifi working this problem also applies to my HP printer all in one that still has a paper jam!

8 bad Proccesor: Please tell me I can replace it with a processor intel I5 - I7 skylake cause this Proccesor is a cheap AMD from £20 to 40 HP Proccesor please tell me if I can replace with this Proccesor:

https://www.Amazon.co.UK/Intel-Skylake-processor-i5-6500-Turbo/DP/B010T6CWI2/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&...

9. useless graphics card: joke not but my brother can't play ROBLOX on smaller settings it is isn't a maximum of 16fps horribld? Well please tell me if I can replace it with a graphics card from Nvidia. These graphics cards will work? :

GTX - 660

770TI - GTX

-GTX 980 M (Fits in laptop computers do not see why not?)

AMD - 270 X

GTX - 1060

Or something better than that!

10. not a problem too, but a reccomendation: do not use a mirror as a screen, the screen is really bad its ok its TOO BRILLIANT just brilliant.

11. not a problem but a praise (only thing that I love) the sound quality is excellent but with the speakers to the front, but the caches are really ugly.

On UPGRADES:

Can I change the graphics cards above? If I can PLEASE tell me if I need to replace the power supply or not (of course that's a Yes)

Question: I have the warranty will be voided if I upgrade the RAM? Also is there only 1 slot for a 4 GB of ram? Because I want to pass this to 8 (or 16 if possible) of RAM also I am disappointed that it is a 800 MHZ RAM! If I update to a 8-16 GB 2133 Mhz RAM would it work or need a power supply higher?

Yes, you might think I want this for the games, but no, I have this PC for a long time so I don't want it to be obsolete in a few months and I use game engines so I need this upgrade due to the more advanced over time.

Sorry to be negative in some areas, but these are the options that I wish to have

1st choice:

-Intel I5 (in link above)

GTX - 750TI 4-6 GB

-8 GB 2133 MHZ RAM

-Tell me food if I need to change it.

2nd choice:

-Intel I5

-GTX 980M 4-6 GB

-16 GB 2133 MHz or 8 gb 2133 Mhz

-Tell me feeding please!

3rd choice:

the least possible but I can;

Intel I5 processor

GTX 1060 4-6 GB

-Tell me power!

Thank you very much for reading this! I could change mind about how the bad HP is. Please tell me recommendations how to

know if my PC is faulty or not or if it does not tell me how to acctually works.

Oh also can I change it for one SSD or SSHD?

Please tell me if these upgrades will work or not, or tell me another choice which can run top games settings regular 35-60 fps low - med (Cause I can't do high quality games using unity if my PC can't handle)

Thank you very much!

Note: I use my ipad because of my PC is slow...

Did you get this as a gift?  Here is the care.  With a modest 1.8 Ghz processor (welded) and a set of graphics, which is part of the CPU chip, and here is NO slot for a graphics card.  Not possible to capacity except an increase in two modules of 8 GB RAM.  It has a brick laptop to a power supply. What you have is a unit of basic inetrnet/e-mail.

In my humble OPINION, it should never be your waiting.   Then, I thought that you have been pranking, but you're a Brit, so I stopped short.

This solution does not work for me because I don't have the option "Use your finger as input device."

Go to the sounds and then hardware and Control Panel.

Select the Pen and Touch and go to the contact tab.

At the top is "Use your finger as input device."  Uncheck the box.

Click apply and then click OK.

    Is there another solution?

  • How to make it turn off the touch screen?

I don't want to use the touch screen. How to turn off the it? It is activated by all sorts of things, like my touch cat's tail, or an insect landing on it, or a curtain blowing against it. I don't type using the screen, I prefer the keyboard that I can not type quickly on the screen. I would like to turn off the touch screen when I use it not (most of the time), or even permanently - it is not useful for what I want to do that the screen is not as sensitive or as fast as the input devices that I usually use.

  • PRS - T1 crashing, freezing and touch screen problems

I get a LOT of crashes and freezes using the PRS - T1. Sometimes the embedded player software wants to close, at other times, the touch screen is going to die, and I then have to do a reset. Yes, I fully charged the unit before using it. It is VERY annoying. The drive crashed probably 10 times in the last 2 days.

Mine was too much. I bought it at Best Buy. When he started to act up, I contacted Sony & was told to return it to the store I did. But the replacement does the same thing. After contacting Sony again, I'm now supposed to get a new directly from Sony. He was supposed to be here today, but will probably happen tomorrow for sure. Hope this works very well because I really like the player.

The problem is that it works very well for 40 minutes then begins to turn the pages quickly & then freezes. It can happen just read or use the dictionary. Also I had trouble fall Sony Reader Store since my T1. Once the problem starts it freezes more & more frequently.

  • HP Pavilion x 360 n014na: HP Pavilion x 360 n014na touch screen not working not not after installing Windows 8.1

Please help, I'm desperate.  I searched for weeks without any solution.  I have a HP Pavilion x 360 n014na, when I bought it I installed Linux immediately and have been using it this way without problem.

However, I decided that I wanted to go back to 8.1 for Windows as the main operating system.  I was not able to make a USB recovery in time when I bought the laptop, so I used a legal copy obtained directly from Microsoft.  It has detected my BIOS on the product key and activated correctly, all devices work.   Except the touchscreen unresponsive.

I went to the support page for my machine model, downloaded and updated all the drivers.  There is NO drivers for the touch screen.  I contacted Microsoft, the drivers are provided by HP and they have not.

I have seen that others complain and no resolution, just a pointer to a page for Windows 8 (not 8.1) with outdated information.  It is NOT a hardware problem.  It IS a driver problem, IE. There is no driver available anywhere.  I am not a novice, I have worked with computers professionally for decades.

Need help please, I just need a link to the driver, not a page with obsolete or non-applicable information.

No, no.  Having to purchase replacement media is not a solution.  I said I got a legal copy of the Microsoft Windows Installer, I have a product key integrated in the BIOS.  I won't spend more money for something that I own.

As it is a common complaint, here's what I did:

The solution was to check the HP drivers for I2C and GPIO are present and loaded correctly, he will be seen in the device under "Human Interface devices" Manager  They appear originally HID-compliant touch screen driver, get these right and the touchscreen should work after a reboot.  I had to install both times that something must have gone wrong the first time.

  • Help! Disable the touch screen on Envy Touchsmart Ultrabook 4

Hi, I have a problem, try to disable the touch screen of the Envy Touchsmart Ultrabook 4 function in Windows 8... I was looking for an answer on how to do it, but I did not find anything. I tried the method of the control panel > hardware and sound > pen and touch and then disable the option "use your finger as input device", but this option is not there for me! If anyone knows how to do this, I would be very grateful.

    Hello

I have another type of TouchSmart, but this may work for you:

    4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).

  • My HP Envy touch screen has stopped working after an update of the HP Bios yesterday

Can someone tell me please how to fix my touch screen. I got an HP BIOS update which caused my touch screen to stop working. I tried to re - calibrate the it, but it does not accept my contact telling me that the screen is no longer enabled.

I tried to find where to turn them on and couldn't find where to enable touch of the finger. I also tried looking for driver updates and driver seems to be up-to-date.

    Thank you

I have another type of TouchSmart, but this may work for you:

    1. Press Windows + X logo (if you are using a Windows computer 8 - If Windows 7, click the Start button, type Device Manager and click on Device Manager in the results of research).
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).
    5. Right click and select Activate from the list.
    6. Click Yes if a dialog box asks if you are sure you want to activate the touch screen driver.

On some models, it is unclear which device in the checklist of the touch screen. I read in other posts that some people have solved the problem by disabling and then re-enabling each device.

If this does not work, you could try to go to hp.com (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html) and click on driver downloads &.
In the search field, enter your product name or number, and then click OK. Select your operating system from the drop down list under Select your operating system, and then click Next. If there is no graphic driver available under Select a download below, click on the plus sign next to the driver - graphics, and then click the name of the driver. In the information and download options window, click Download. Follow the instructions on the screen to download the driver. Restart the computer.

  • (Redirected) RE: Windows 8 Touch screen Trouble

I would like to ask your help along this vein as well.  I have a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 series that I bought in October 2013.  Windows 8 was preinstalled.  An update in spring 2014 caused my touch screen to stop working.  I haven't used my computer a lot and didn't know that the touch screen did not work until August.  I contacted service in September for several reasons 1.) computer would not awaken from its slumber 2.) 3 touchscreen does not.) Sometimes the system stops not 'stuck' to black screen and turned on the keyboard and I have to do a hard reboot and after updating my bios, nothing has been resolved.  A technician came out twice, once the replacement of the screen as a whole, the frame around my keyboard and bottom unit 'transport' for the drive and the motherboard.  He worked for a day and present other problems including not start after the dell logo screen.  The tech came out and replaced my motherboard, this solved the problem of replacement of chassis post but the touch screen still does not work and I have to have the computer on awake all the time because he didn't wake up again if she goes to sleep although I have since had the question of the judgment.  I did a diagnosis using Dell's online tool and all systems pass but do not test the touch screen.  Please let me know how to message you express number.  Thanks in advance for your help

The touch screen on my brand new (3 days of use) HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911g does not work well. I am able to select an option, for example, the 'settings', but I can't go "before"through screens - the 'back' arrow, or the icons 'Home' of work." Whenever I want to get in another section of the configuration, I power the machine off and back on to see a menu of 'House' cool touchscreen.

  • Lenovo Yoga 3 left side of the touch screen does not

I bought a new Lenovo 3 14 inch yoga yesterday. He came out of the box very well for maybe half an hour. Then the touch screen started acting very sporadic and not responding like it. Sometimes none of the touch screen answer and other times only the left side of the screen makes them unusable. I did not apply the updates as it is new. Restarting the laptop back to life, but I wonder if there is another definition for this problem, as its reboot every half hour is a real nuisance. Thank you

  • Turning off the touch screen saves the battery?

Hi all. I have recently bought one of these new Asus 2 in 1 folding booklets (TP500LN-CJ035H).

The battery life is OK, but I want to squeeze a little more out of it, so I was wondering if disabling the touch screen by Device Manager, will save you piles. I'm not too fussed on the touchscreen then don't use do not really mind.

    Hi Luke_404notfound
