HP-39gII radians to degrees conversion / degrees radians conversion

On my 39gII, updated 4 September 2012, worm 17818 firmware.

I can't find the degrees to radians in degrees or radians conversion mentioned in the manual. I looked through the menus and the catalog.

The 39gII manual, edition 2, stipulates the following:

(p174 & 176 respectively)

I can't find these on the calculator.

I managed to do the conversion using "convert(x_deg,1_rad)" and vice versa. However, it seems faster using the RAD-> DEG & DEG-> orders of RAD.

I defintiely do not see them in there. This is probably something that is not respected when re-impelementing a system similar to the 39 series when the 39gII was created. The manual for the 39gII was created using the 39gs manual and the author of technology must have missed it and he left.

I had a few questions about the HP 50 g:

Is it possible to set up your calculator so that when it is in the fixed mode with 3 decimal places of precision, say that your number is greater than 10 ^ 6, which will automatically dilsplay the value like saying 1E6 rather than going out to write it in its standard form of 1,000,000? I ask precisely because a large part of the time that I face pressures in the metric system, which are in this range. The calculator from now displays a standard notation up to 10 ^ 11 then nothing subsequently goes into scientific mode for a response which is 1E12 and superior.

    Hi!, VitaX:

You can configure everything, with the global variable, call the "BOOT", stored, in the HOME directory.

See, the application... If it exists, the BOOT variable is evaluated when the warmstart calculator. Objects placed on the stack in the STARTUP routine cannot be should remain on the stack after the start of the calculator.

    Example:

    "3 SCI' 'START-UP' STO

A request to Warmstart, with ONE + F3

In the example, 10 ^ 6', you should see...

    1: 1, 000E6

    Or too, with a MENU...

' 63 MENU 11.1 KEYEVAL ' and store with any variable global name, e.g. "MNU" and STO.

When you access the MNU, you see...

now, if you need to change to SCI 3, set... 3, then press F3

You can see, the result, id press TOOL (I) and MODE (H)

Radian, degree and surprise, you can use...

'MENU 65' and store, with any name. After you can see...

change to another option, press button (F1,...)

  • degrees in radians

    Hi people,

I am surprised that I did not find a VI to convert degrees to radians.  I see in this forum that shows an example, but it's a screenshot and not from the code.

Can someone point me to that VI?

    Thank you

    Roger

I don't know if I'd take the detour on physical units, but it's all there in the pallets:

  • radians into degrees works does not like my calculator

On my sin (52) graphing calculator = 0.7880107536 (sound on DEG)
The same thing with my scientific computing I don't know why its not working
When my they are on the wheel it shows exactly the same as labview shows

but when I try to use labview degreased, it gives the wrong answer

You're a 52 (radians!) power for the sine function, and converts the effect. That makes no sense at all!

You must convert to radians before sine functions.

  • degree angle

Please, can I calculate the sine and cosine of angle in degrees (not in redian), or there is no converter from radian to degree

    Hello Gomez,

LabVIEW offers two built-in functions to convert radians to degrees and vice versa:

    LabVIEW Help: Radians to degrees

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361K-01/lvinstio/radians_to_degrees/

    LabVIEW Help: Degrees in Radians

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361K-01/lvinstio/degrees_to_radians/

I recommend seeking a response before posting - these are two of the best success when searching 'radian to degree LabVIEW' in a generic internet search engine.  They are also available via the digital Conversion scheme and are easy to find using LabVIEW's built-in search functions:

  • Integration and Radian mode Question on HP 50 g calculator

It seems every time I change radian to degrees and OK mode mode, it will be always a few minutes later. I don't know if I accidentally activated a flag to cause it to happen or not, but how can I keep the calculator in degree mode always?

I have a question about integration on the HP 50 g as well. Here is a picture of what I seek to accomplish on the HP 50g: http://i.imgur.com/qTt9kHp.png

I'll tie it also via this post.

My problem is this: I need to take the integral on x while having a 'B' variable in the integral so. I want my final answer to appear as 1 333 + 0.333 B as does in the attached picture and the link above. But every time I entered the variables and constants and take the integral, I get the following error message:

    Error: Name not set

What exactly what I need to change in order to calculate the integral?

    Hi VitaX,

You want to integrate it in exact mode to get the desired response.  To switch between exact and about modes, hit shift to the right (hold) and enter.  The equal sign upward into the annunciator area of the screen indicates the exact mode.  Punching in your problem, I had (B + 4000) / 3, which is the exact shape of 1 333 +. 333 B.

The calculator SHOULD go to radian mode to run most of there CASES of advanced features (included integration of the exact mode)... There is no way around that.

    Best regards, Hal

  • First Calculator in radians?

Hi, this is my first post on this forum site and hope that I'm doing all this correct. But my question is how do you spend between radians and degrees (regarding modes) on the first HP Calculator? I thought he was touching the upper right and then tap either of the symbols? I could have sworn it was the way I did before. But today when I went to switch to the degree the screen was insensitive when the drop appears. Then from the display CASE and I went into settings, tried to change the mode here and I could choose between the two, but when I return to the CASE and then back to the settings screen to see if it is indeed kept, falling to the low bar would say radians again... I tried the reset button on the back and no luck. Y at - it a setting I could have turned on so it won't change between modes? I also have not messed with the firmware at all. everything I've done is out of the box and it recharge and use it. I have now since November last and as far as I remember this function, used to work.

OK updated if someone reads this... I found that I can't pass between radians and degrees within the "app" function. I'm just currious regarding why im not able to do it, if anyone wants to comment?

    Thank you, Nick

This is one reasons possible of what you know.  Each application can have its own radian/degree setting in the "symbolic" screen  (Symb update)  When an application has the angle mode is defined here, it usually cannot be changed elsewhere.  To restore your ability to adjust the angle of the mode in the usual places for three (reception of parameters, the parameters of CASE and the battery icon popup box), press SHIFT symbol and change the angle of setting it to the "system".

  • Insert a line in a circle from centrepoint and the angle in degrees

    Hello world

I want to ride a line based on two values, as I arrived, the Center (x, y) and the angle in degrees from the top of the circle, is that possible? (see the attached picture for more details)

    Of course, just draw a line from (x, y) to (x + radius * cos (angle), y + radius * sin (angle))

Angle must be expressed in radians (so angle = 2 * pi * angle in degrees)

In fact you will probably have to faff about a bit for that angle you set, so the equation of high I think it would actually (angle 90) instead of the angle. Try it and see what it does.

  • Calculate the tangent arc of 0.12 degrees

Knows ActionScript really get mad sometimes.

I'm trying to calculate the arc tangent of a number.
    I use the following code:

    arctg_mi = Math.atan(Math.PI/180 * 0.12)

As you can see, I need calculate the tangent arc of 0.12 degrees. Problem is that it just cannot be done. I'm not an expert in mathematics, but it seems that the radian system does not behave as a system of degrees when it comes to the tangent arc.
I used the Windows Calculator, and tangent arc of 0.12 to system of degrees is about 6.84, which is just. But when I go to the radian system, then convert 0.12 degrees to radians and then try to calculate, I get an incorrect value. Totally wrong!
Solution? I'm so stupid that I missed a few ordinary procedure in all this, or these two systems are not comparable.
Or do I need to convert the value that I return to the system of degrees somehow?

The best thing to do would be to move the Flash to the system of degrees, but which does not, if...

    Help, please...

It comes out to 6.84 in Flash, if you do it right. First, degrees
by radian is 180/Pi not Pi/180. And you want to get the arctangent of the
value, that comes out in radians, then convert to degrees - you don't want
take the arctangent of the degrees...

    So:
    var degreesPerRadian = 180.0 / Math.PI;
    trace (Math.ATAN (0.12) * degreesPerRadian)

    6.84277341263094

  • Decimal degrees (DD) in degrees Minutes seconds (DMS) on the first HP

Conversion from DMS to DD is straight forward; Enter the angle by using the appropriate degree and graduations symbol and press ENTER. The answer is given in the DD. However, search for what you want, I have not been able to find the combination of keys to convert DD to DMS.  I use the first HP, Version 2015617 (8151) - Thanks Joe!

    Thanks in advance.

I found a solution in a support group.

To convert between SD and DMS-

First of all, be on the screen of the home mode, as this key sequence does not work in CAS mode.

Type in the corner in two formats, and then press [Shift] {a b/c]. This sequence switches back between DD and DMS.

Note to HP: I looked in the manual pdf for this information and it has not been found. It must be embedded in the user manual. Thank you.

Degree: Degree of parallelism. The default for the level is set to NULL. The default value can be changed using the SET_PARAM procedure. NULL means use the default value of the table specified by the LEVEL clause in the CREATE TABLE or ALTER TABLE statement. Use the constant DBMS_STATS. DEFAULT_DEGREE to specify the default value based on the initialization parameters. The AUTO_DEGREE value determines the degree of parallelism automatically. It's 1 (series performance) or DEFAULT_DEGREE (the default value of the system will depend on the number of processors and initialization parameters) according to the size of the object

  • How to rotate a title/text 90 degrees in iMovie?

I'm turning all my images 90 degrees, so it can be displayed portrait style when seen.  I'm trying to figure out how to rotate the text as well.

iMovie works in landscape orientation.  You will need to create your text in the orientation desired on a green or blue background with another application, and then drag and drop it above the element in the timeline and use the green/blue screen option.  After sharing (landscape), you could rotate the video in portrait mode with Quicktime Player 10 for example.  See: QuickTime Player 10.x: do rotate or flip a clip

My Macbook Pro Late 2011 very hot especially on the left side. Temperature exceeds the 60 degrees celsius, with only the navigation. Is this a normal behavior? Fans operate at a SPEED of 2000 more or less. I would like the experts to guide...

From what you say, it seems that your MacBook fans work as usual (and unfortunately), and 60ºC is a good temperature for a MacBook Pro, so I don't think that there is nothing wrong with your Mac. Note that the temperature may also depend on what websites visit you and complete what they use. for example, Java and Flash Player increases CPU utilization and the battery, and this, temperature.

In addition, note that your MacBook Pro is made of aluminum, and it can quickly become hot even if you don't do any heavy task. This does not mean that there is nothing wrong with it
