  I recommend the methods are:
  Method 1:
  Step 1:
  Uninstall the update failed, if she is found in the installed updates, follow these steps

• Last updated forced killed creative cloud

  So when the last DC day app hit it fails to update or open one of my apps to THE AI PS ect.

  It seems to affect only the tab "app" of CC.

  If I click on update does nothing. If currently installed-click app ie PS it does nothing. If I click on "what is new, it does nothing.

  If I click on something on the other tabs it will open web or download the file of the community

  I killed all Adobe related in humans of the task and restarted with run as admin and get PS 2015 to install but it could not update file associations and who knows what else has failed.

  
  Tried to uninstall CC in Control Panel, no go.

  So my question is do I have to remove all THE Adobe products or are you guys going to solve this problem. I say this because this was working fine before this update.

  If I remove all the app should I apply first? (not sure who worked either)

  two machines running under CC, main workstation Win7 64 (of problems) and 8.1 Win 64 pro without problems. ESET smart security on both.

• How to close the instance of Firefox launched via file/new window without killing all instances of Firefox?

  Before the last update Firefox, running on Ubuntu if it makes a difference, I was able to select close on the file menu (and if memory is also by clicking the x on the last tab) to exit an instance of Firefox open via file new window.

  With the 9.x update this no longer seems to be possible. If I choose the file altogether starting an instance that was launched via the new window, all instances of Firefox away!

  It's embarrassing because I have to leave all the instances that have been launched.

  I tried closing last tab add on, and it allows me to close the last tab content but still leaves the instance running with a blank tab.

  Is there a setting somewhere that I missed to restore the operating mode to exit the additional instances of Firefox without killing all the previous configuration?

  Each window must have its own close button (big X in the right corner.)
  But it depends on the 'Theme' that you use in Ubuntu. This large X chould be a round point when you hover over the color changes. It could be on the left instead of the right site.
  This screenshot shows the close the left side, but always an X button.

  CTRL + SHIFT + W closed the window Active.
  CTRL + W closes the current tab.

  Try the following a.

  We will empty the download folder & then try again measured.

  Start > type cmd > and press enter

  type in
  net stop wuauserv 

  Go to Windows Explorer.
  Look on your system (usually C) drive and see the name of the Windows folder. Like Windows or WINNT.
  Edit following as appropriate.
  If your Windows folder is C:\Windows.  Look at this file
  C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\download

  If you find files in there, remove them.  This file is where the Windows Update files are stored downloads.

  Return to the command prompt window.
  type in
  net start wuauserv 

  OUTPUT

  Reboot & then run manually check the updates in Windows Update, etc, etc...
  When you get to Windows Update, a custom scan updates. Take (accept) those marked critical or Important.
  Those that are marked as "optional" decline.
  NET Framework or Silverlight updates offered, select not them & the other (do all .NET Framework or Silverlight updates in separate tracks).
   
  Have infinite patience so that it scans and it's work.
   
  When you are prompted to restart Windows, please do. Allow it to restart.

  If and only IF there is another failure, then let's you use NOTEPAD & doing research in the Windows Update log (using Notepad)
  usually at C:\Windows\Windowsupdate.log or C:\WINNT\Windowsupdate.log
   
  Copy and paste here the last 60 lines out of this newspaper, for review.
  Go to end of the log of the last entries and get ratings of the error.
  You can use the keys on the keyboard CTRL + END to reach the end of the file. Then download the last 60 lines & copy & paste here in response
