HP 620 laptop Wifi work dosent
Hello
I had the laptop HP 620 for about a year now, recently upgraded to windows 8.
Then... as soon as I open my computer laptop, everything's fine and the wifi works and everything is almost normal, but when I use the laptop for like 10 min, wifi randomly stops and tells me that I need to connect with an Ethernet cable, and when I do connect to the ethernet cable it works. Please help me solve this problem. and please keep in mind that I'm on windows 8.
Thank you.
You are the very welcome.
You will need to run the executable file in the package and who should install the driver.
No guarantee that this will work because the driver is for W7.

HP 15 laptop: wifi does not work windows 8.1
I have Windows installed pro 8.1. I was using wifi on this laptop, it worked fine. However, recently, I see that the Wifi does not work although he shows me the SSID of my network I used to use and also the SSID of the networks of neighbors. (It means that the wifi on laptop chip is capable of scanning the wifi signals and so it works). The same router from which all other Mobile tablets, my home laptop work are able to connect to the wifi network. Only on this laptop I am facing this problem. What may be a solution or what I should try. I tried the steps listed here http://www.fixedbyvonnie.com/2013/10/how-to-fix-limited-or-no-connectivity-wi-fi-issues-in-windows-8...
Although I have not changed the default settings only steps above on blog, I tried to solve the problem. However, it did not work. Also keys function + F12 on laptop has no effect. The light on the F12 key is always on. However, it is possible to toggle the wifi in the bar of Windows 8.1 charms.
What should I check?
I bought an external USB wifi device that solved the problem. The card wifi on laptop works well, but for some unknown reason, he is not able to connect to home wifi router. http://www.snapdeal.com/product/leoxsys-150-Mbps-Nano-WiFi/1179610?utm_source=earth_feed&utm_campaign=TopPerformersPLAScaling3000&utm_medium=CPC&utm_content=1179610&utm_term=, & campaignid = 350311165 & 28373951005 = adgroupid & adposition = 1o1 & network = g & device = c & targetid = pla-55251503741

Re: Wifi works fine on an AC/DC power supply. And very slow on battery
Dear friends!
When I use my laptop on AC/DC adapter, wifi works perfectly. Fast and without any problems.
But after that I use it on battery, wifi works very slowly. I wait about a minute or two to open any site.
Yes, it works, but very very slow. When I connect the card once again, immediately without any problems!
The same site opens in seconds!
What do you think of this problem?Thank you very much
I could solve the similar problem on my laptop by changing settings in the WLan card properties.
Go to _device-> advanced-> properties-> tab_ Wlan card Manager
Here I put the on OFF power saving mode (turn off).
This option controls the power resources if the laptop is running on battery
So disable it and see if you can notice some improvements.Concerning

HP 620 laptop computer does not have bootable CD or HD.
My HP 620 laptop boot no HD or CD, I tried to do a reinstall. I started to the reinstall and he asked me a driver clear any leave but only gave me an option to navigate. The pilot was not on any disk HP or Win7 disc that came with the computer. He wouldn't let me go back to get the file name for I can go find it and download it. Microsoft and HP technical support have been without help. So I tried burning a few CDs.A MS-DOS 6.22 bootable CD to allow me to FDISK and FORMAT it and a boot disk of emergency virus, just in case where, which will start and work on another laptop. I get the error message of the 620 HP no matter what CD, I put in 'non-system disk '. I have reset the BIOS to default and I tried the CD win7 and it started, but I would have done the MS DOS to clear to leave them. No idea what to try next? I try everything. I'm running the Sanitizer on disc from the start menu now the I'll reset the BIOS again and try the MS BACK CD? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Problem is solved. I had to run the menu boot disk Sanitizer a do a clean install. I was counting on far to give the laptop so data loss everything was fine. Has taken some time, but everything is in place and works very well.

Satellite L40-15B - WiFi works at home but not at school
My daughter has satellite worked at home and at school: wifi OK, internet OK. The satellite crashed: hard disk failure. Bought a new hard drive.
I reset the Satellite via the recovery CD. It is now a new clean system with * Windows Vista home premium *. * Wifi works immediately at home. Internet too, but at school with my daughter, the wifi is NOT working anymore.*
Laptops from other children at school always work with wifi.A college of my work told me his sister had exactly the same problem!
Help!
Hello
If the WIFI connection works at home but not at school it has nothing to do with Toshiba. I think that your daughter should ask the administrator of the school what is the problem. Maybe the WLAN requires a certain configuration of TCP/IP or else I n t he know and I think that no one here can answer this question.
Is that wireless network card is properly installed and works, because you can access the Internet at home.
Sorry, but everything that s what I can say.

One of our MacBook has been connected to the internet through our router base station Airport Express wireless and wifi worked very well. All of a sudden, the other MacBook could not connect. After a few days of no connection on one while the other worked, we rebooted the modem. Now neither laptop connects. We called our ISP and they verified that all is well with our internet service or the modem. Internet works fine with the cable plugged directly on each machine. Under network in system preferences, I get this message: "Wi - Fi 169.254.49.8 auto assigned IP address and won't be able to connect to the internet." When I run the diagnostic, I get a message saying that my network configuration has changed, but it has not changed anything. We have never gone and nothing changed since we first set up the modem and the AEBS. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Yes, the express can do that... Suddenly lose the configuration and return to the bridge for example even when connected to a modem to bridge.
The solution is simple... Press reset and redo the Express installation.
NOTE... an Express is not expected that the main router... It's light to etc. of airprint, airplay wireless bridge. Don't wait to have no problems when you use the Express to do the work of the extreme or TC or another router should do.

Can't tell if my WIFI works?
I had to reinstall Vista (no surprise), but now I can't tell if my WIFI works. The light on my laptop doesn't work anymore. My daughter has a laptop and that she can get on her own and connect using the network I created previously, but I can't see this network or even find. I think it's maybe the driver for the LAN card? But I do not know have tried several things.
Help, please
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on the other laptop.
See you soon.

Device can be turned off (if there is a switch):
Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

Don't forget to check the updates of the firmware on the router, because who can have a definite effect

Hi Yvon,.
- What is the model of your Dell laptop?
- What is the brand and model of the router?
Adding to the suggestion of SilverBack_1 you can also refer to:

I hope this helps. Please post with the State of the question.

I just installed an airport extreme router and WiFi works, but the status light still flashes.
Open airport utility... Click EI... and see what the cause of the problem. It will give the list of questions on the summary page. Click on each of them and he will offer you even solutions.
for example the firmware needs to be updated... nothing major... or DNS is wrong or double NAT...
Without our crystal ball, we do not know what is the issue.

Utilities airport shows a triangle Orange on Time Capsule, Wifi working
Recently, my Time capsule is showing an orange triangle in AP-utility. By clicking on it, it shows the message: AP Time capsule found, with the possibility to forget.
Time capsule shows a steady green light. Wifi is good job and my two other airports Express are being lit in the utility.
I've read other discussions with similar problems. So, I did the following things:
(1) soft reset of time capsule,
(2) Changed link local IPv6 settings
(3) disabled firewall
(4) settings saved and restarted.
It did not help for long after a few minutes the triangle orange has shown once again.
In Time Machine, time capsule HD is not recognized or the other.
But the wifi works perfectly.
Please notify.
I think that the problem is resolved.
In this link, I found a solutionTime capsule will appear but the WIFI connection works

Click Open Time Machine Preferences
Click select drive or Add or remove disks
