HP 7520 unable to connect to Web Services, "error server connection."

I have installed the printer software from the disc to a network wireless set up, it gets to the stage where the printer is trying to connect to Web Services, but then said that there is a server connection error.

I can print from my computer and also my laptop with no problems. Help please.

Thanks, Barry

I don't want to go to this conclusion immediately. When you set the static IP address on the front of the printer, it allow you to set a static DNS? Static DNS is the important part of this step. If it won't let you set the static DNS, go to EWS printer by typing it's IP address in a web browser. Set the printer to use Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 = Preferred: Alternate = 8.8.4.4). Once you set the static DNS, turn off the printer and the router. Turn on the router first and let it stabilize before turning on the printer. It normally takes a minute or two for a router stabilize. Let me know what happens.

I understand that your printer is not connected to the web services.  . I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute.  I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I don't know that to which you are referring - he could be the following:

    By PrintDoc Web services

PhotoSmart 7520 does not connect to "Web Services"

You can take a look at the suggestions already provided - they are likely valid for your situation.

I can also offer you the following:

    Hi @Davem72,

    Thanks for your comments.

We said that server problems have been resolved, can try you again to see if you are able to scan to e-mail?

Have you been able to 'test' successfully once you have installed the scanning to E-mail?

    Thank you.

  • Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

    Hello

I can't scan it and send it to any email address, printer tells me it is unbale to connect to web services.

I checked the 8888 and the 8884 and entered manually, also the work of Apps

    Help please

I was just talking with a colleague who said that power pulling plug without touching the power button is more efficient for this problem and it has a 7520.  If it does not the next thing to try is to disable and then re-enable the web services.  The problem with this approach is that it will give you a new address of email eprint.  If your original eprint email address is important to you then you probably don't want to do.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

I was able to scan for months, now impossible.  It seems that there is a difficulty, but it is not displayed publicly.  Can you please send it to me?

    Hello @Jibberdee ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are having a problem with the e-mail scanning on your Photosmart 7520 function.

    I would like to help.

The first thing to try is a manual DNS.

The following link will take you to a terminal of happytohelp01, which has detailed photos and instructions to set the manual DNS. The instructions are for a Photosmart 7510, but the steps will be the same.

EFax 7510 still does not work after the power off/on several times ePrint

If that does not get the scan to e-mail work try removing and then enabling web services.

WARNING: If you printer has a custom ePrint address, this will cause the printer to lose the address.

Not for 6 months or a year, forever.  It will also wipe the scanning to e-mail settings. Save all email addresses and PIN numbers will be lost.

To remove web services tap the ePrint on your screen printers.

Then, go in the settings submenu and choose Delete the Web Services.

This will bring you to the main menu of printers.

    Press again the ePrint.

You will be asked to activate the web services.

    This is a page.

This can be used to add to your HP printer connected account.

The next step is to configure the scan to e-mail again.

During this process, we will give you a new pin code.

    Test scanning to e-mail.

I hope this helps. If you need other assistance please let me know.

  • Web Services problem - server connection error

    Hello world.

When I try to enable Web Services, I get an error. I am connected to internet (WiFi) and the connection is ok.

    The error is:

    Server connection error

The printer could not connect to the server. Check the internet connection and try again, or enter a proxy address.

I do not have a proxy, and the internet connection is ok! Why do I have this problem?

    Thank you very much.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.< the="" dns="" could="" be="" your="" problem.=""  if="" this="" does="" not="" work,="" try="" google's="" dns="">
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Web Service error on downtime

    We develop Web services applications.
Someone after items, please tell us.

    (1) if, Web services, Oracle CRM On Demand to connect downtime if the error?

    (2) if, Web services and data to add to the capacity is exceeded, an error?

    (1) and (2), we are some mistakes and I want to know if there is an error message.
We take care of these errors.

    Thank you.

    1. If web services are stopped or OnDemand is off service->, you cannot connect and you will not get the jsession id. Most likely reason will be Server not available.

2 capacity is exceeded-> certainly you will get the error message, I don't know exactly what message you will get.

  • Web service error - related OS?

    Hello

I developed an application in Eclipse using JDE 4.3.0 plugin. The application that I have works fine until I have try to hit a webservice. To try to hit all the application crashes or comes back with the error "error communicating with webserive or SOAP body or soap envelope is missing".

I get a message asking for confirmation of the call to the correct server.

The application uses consistent with the JSR 172 J2ME Web Services specification generated stubs for hitting the webservice. The Web Service is written using VS.NET 2005 and worked very well for the Simulator.

The strange thing is, the app works fine on a Blackberry Bold with OS 4.6.0.126. The handset that I use to test which is a failure is an 8700 c with 4.5.0.99.

I tried the application deployment by pushing it using the BES server and also using the Desktop Manager.

There is no security setting obvious that differ in different handsets, could it have something to do with the number of BONES?

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Solved, changed required proxy server settings because the error was caused by a time out.

  • CI based Web Service error handling

    Hello

I use a CI based web service to update my ps tables. Now, I have a requirement to capture the request and response messages in a table / how to get the request message?

PeopleSoft already collects it for you.

You can retrieve the request and response xml by using the method GetSyncLogData in the class IntBroker
PeopleSoft also uses that you submit the request and response xml in services monitor.

Line of code in the pageactivate of AMM_RAWXML4
    + & str = %IntBroker.GetSyncLogData (AMM_SYNCLIST. GUID, decodelogtype (AMM_DERIVED. LOGTYPE), False); +

You can retrieve the TransactionID (first parameter) by running a select statement on PSIBLOGHDR where IB_OPERATIONNAME = 'YOUR_CI_SERVICE_OPERATION_NAME. '

    PeopleBooks on this method:
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E28394_01/pt852pbh1/Eng/psbooks/TPCR/book.htm?file=TPCR/htm/tpcr27.htm#57248C9C_1355AB6F02A_6CF7

    Syntax
GetSyncLogData (TransactionId, LogType % [, Archive])

    Description
Use the GetSyncLogData method to return a log containing information about the specified synchronous message.
You can use this information for debugging. Using this method, you can get the data request and response to a synchronous request, before and after the transformation.
This function is used in PeopleCode for the Message monitor.

    Parameters
    TransactionId
Specify the ID of the published message transaction.
    LogType
Specify the type of log that must be returned, depending on the type of message. See below for valid values.
    Archives
Specify whether to retrieve logs archived as well. This parameter takes a Boolean: true to return archived newspapers, false otherwise. The default value is false.

For the LogType parameter, valid values are:
    Constant value
    Description
    % Sync_RequestOrig
Gets the log for a data sync original request message.
    % Sync_RequestTrans
Gets the log for a message of transformed data synchronization request.
    % Sync_ResponseOrig
Gets the log for a data sync original response message.
    % Sync_ResponseTrans
Gets the log for a message of transformed data from reply sync.

    Returns
An XML string containing the log data.
