Re: HP Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

I have the same problem as all the others. Can you send instructions to solve?

If you are not able to connect to the Web service, try the steps below and check if your issue is resolved:
1. tap the ePrint button located on the top left corner of the screen.
2. go to settings and then seek to remove Web Services, press Yes. He should return to the home screen.
3. Press button ePrint again and then agree to the terms, press Yes if you are prompted to enable automatic updates, and then once done at the time of process scan image.

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I don't know that to which you are referring - he could be the following:

PhotoSmart 7520 does not connect to "Web Services"

You can take a look at the suggestions already provided - they are likely valid for your situation.

I can also offer you the following:

    • A method essentially provides the procedure that you find in PrintDocof wire,
    • Two method explains one more 'standard' reset Web Services approach.

I printed out the results of the wireless network Test and everything looks great. Also, the Configuration of the network page is superb. My name network, says it is connected to the Internet. I was able to download the updates. IP address looks right.

I understand that your printer is not connected to the web services.  . I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute.  I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

  • Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

    Hello

I can't scan it and send it to any email address, printer tells me it is unbale to connect to web services.

I checked the 8888 and the 8884 and entered manually, also the work of Apps

    Help please

I was just talking with a colleague who said that power pulling plug without touching the power button is more efficient for this problem and it has a 7520.  If it does not the next thing to try is to disable and then re-enable the web services.  The problem with this approach is that it will give you a new address of email eprint.  If your original eprint email address is important to you then you probably don't want to do.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

I was able to scan for months, now impossible.  It seems that there is a difficulty, but it is not displayed publicly.  Can you please send it to me?

    Hello @Jibberdee ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are having a problem with the e-mail scanning on your Photosmart 7520 function.

    I would like to help.

The first thing to try is a manual DNS.

The following link will take you to a terminal of happytohelp01, which has detailed photos and instructions to set the manual DNS. The instructions are for a Photosmart 7510, but the steps will be the same.

EFax 7510 still does not work after the power off/on several times ePrint

If that does not get the scan to e-mail work try removing and then enabling web services.

WARNING: If you printer has a custom ePrint address, this will cause the printer to lose the address.

Not for 6 months or a year, forever.  It will also wipe the scanning to e-mail settings. Save all email addresses and PIN numbers will be lost.

To remove web services tap the ePrint on your screen printers.

Then, go in the settings submenu and choose Delete the Web Services.

This will bring you to the main menu of printers.

    Press again the ePrint.

You will be asked to activate the web services.

    This is a page.

This can be used to add to your HP printer connected account.

The next step is to configure the scan to e-mail again.

During this process, we will give you a new pin code.

    Test scanning to e-mail.

I hope this helps. If you need other assistance please let me know.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 does not connect to web services

My printer suddenly stopped connecting to the Web Services a month ago. I had already used web services successfully for two years, then my computer infected with malware and ruined a lot of things. I guess that it also affected the printer since it is at the same time ceases to function properly. I can print wireless very well all of my devices, but doesn't connect things like regular printable.

I tried restaring the printer and the restoration of the default network printer. I also tried the steps listed in this forum http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-Photosmart-7520-unable-to-connect-to-Web-Services/td...

    Hello

    Apologies for jumping!

For the Photosmart 7520, the latest firmware must be installed in order to maintain a connection to Web Services.

The firmware can be installed on any Windows PC via the following link:

    Hi @Davem72,

    Thanks for your comments.

We said that server problems have been resolved, can try you again to see if you are able to scan to e-mail?

Have you been able to 'test' successfully once you have installed the scanning to E-mail?

  • PhotoSmart 7520 does not connect to "Web Services"

My new PhotoSmart 7520 eAll-in-one printer will not connect to the "web services" today. Yesterday all top and work without any problem. Any app I try, it gives me the same error message.

I run Win XP, the computer is connected to a wireless router with LAN feature. My printer is connected through the LAN. It was working fine yesterday. I did no changes since last night my computer system.

I'm and turned on the printer and went to print simple Crusaders and received the message that it cannot connect to the 'Web Services '. Sever after tests, I check wireless settings and it shows that it works with an excellent signal strength. The Mac address shows as does the correct IP address for the printer.

I checked my router to see if she was talking to the printer and everything was correct and functional. He showed increased activity with the printer wireless and work, the IP and Mac addresses were both correct.

I followed several statements of SUPPORT from HP on the withdrawal and the reactivation of the Web abuse and got a print both times I tried it.

Just before I downloaded HP Print and Scan, a small icon doctor appeared in the system tray in the lower right by saying that the computer analysis was not available. I ran the program doctor and ran the fixes to scan and print. The small icon disappeared, but I don't know what has been corrected.

I turned the printer and on again at least twice. And I ran twice wireless configuration software.

I can always connect to web services. I didn't have this problem when I set up the new printer Saturday. It worked fine until this morning.

I'm not having any problem connecting to Internet with other software.

We will define a static IP address and (most importanly) an external DNS for the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • HP 7520 unable to connect to Web Services, "error server connection."

I have installed the printer software from the disc to a network wireless set up, it gets to the stage where the printer is trying to connect to Web Services, but then said that there is a server connection error.

I can print from my computer and also my laptop with no problems. Help please.

    Thanks, Barry

I don't want to go to this conclusion immediately. When you set the static IP address on the front of the printer, it allow you to set a static DNS? Static DNS is the important part of this step. If it won't let you set the static DNS, go to EWS printer by typing it's IP address in a web browser. Set the printer to use Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 = Preferred: Alternate = 8.8.4.4). Once you set the static DNS, turn off the printer and the router. Turn on the router first and let it stabilize before turning on the printer. It normally takes a minute or two for a router stabilize. Let me know what happens.

I can not scan with my printer 7525. I read previous problems with others and have the same problems. I followed the instructions in the network tab to the manaul... All my other applications work on the printer screen.  When I hit the icon eprint, my email hpeprint appears with the connected state and ePrint reports 'on '.  Are there other solutions to this problem? I'm scanning my printer and get error messages saying: unable to connect to web services check the internet access. I have access to the internet and also tried to get a new IP address manual. Keeps saying try again or enter proxy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • HP photosmart 7525: hp 7525 unable to connect to web services

I recently bought an Imac, and now I can't get my hp 7525 to analyze correctly. It says unable to connect to web services. I tried to uninstall wirless and re-login.  Help, please!

    Hello

    My apologies for jumping.

To add more, the latest firmware MUST be installed to maintain connectivity of the web services.

Click on the configuration icon and select Tools, then print a printer status report.

Locate the firmware listed, if it is a value lower than ELM1CN1607AR (see "BOLD" kinds) you will be required to update the firmware.

Unfortunately, a Mac OS firmware update utility is not currently available, so you must use a Windows PC to update the printer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Photosmart-7520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5199461/model/5286642/swItemId/OJ-113641-5

Once obtained the latest firmware, try to use Web Services again and check for the difference.

    Kind regards

  • HP laptop: Hp 7520 all-in-one, unable to connect to web services when you are trying to scan to e-mail

All of a sudden, I'm not able to scan to e-mail. I get the message unable to connect to Web services. One day he was working the next day this error message.
    THX!

    Hi @MMDH

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are getting a server connection error when trying to scan to e-mail. I would like to help.

There are two ways to go about this. It's either scanning to email app that is having the problem, or the printer it's impossible to connect to Web Services. It is easy to discover this. Tap the ePrint icon located in the upper left corner of the screen printers. If you get a server connection error, try the steps in this post troubleshooting by E - roq. Pro tips: Troubleshooting printing and scanning to Email Issues in e-all-in-one printers

If you do not get a server connection error, then the problem is with the scanning to email app. To solve this, go to the Web Services menu (icon ePrint) and select settings, then remove Web services. You will return to the main menu/home. Press again the ePrint and enable Web Services. Once activated go to scanning to email App. Setting up scan to email. Send a test.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!
