HP 78 & 45: what does the # Option 140 on cartridges?

Hello

Hope someone can help me with this... I recently bought a few tricolor HP 78 ink cartridges and 45 HP of America. They have the same cartridge printers UK but # 140 Option numbers after the number of cartridge in the box! They can still be used in printers UK?

If the U.S. cartridge number is the same as the printers UK will they work in the United Kingdom?

Thank you very much.

The option is in the target market. HP 78 and 45 cartridges are not regionalized, 78 and 45 American cartridges will work in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.  The difference is in the packaging and inserts it.

One thing to check would be the guarantee date.  While the cartridges do not expire in the sense that they will stop work on a certain date they have a life.  The warranty on the packaging date is two years from the date of manufacture.  For the cartridge to 78, according to the conditions of storage, the cartridges can lose one or more colors (typically cyan or yellow) after a few years.  If buying on eBay or similar cartridges I suggest being aware of the expiry date of guarantee and offers accordingly.  Cartridges five years beyond the date of guarantee are likely to have a color out.  It may be possible to recover these with a soaking from head of printing or other methods, but some violin may be required.  45 cartridges are less vulnerable to life, ten years old I used 45 cartrdiges without problems.

  • What does the option "copy photos to the photo library?

I explore this now app Photos (worst name ever) and I wanted to import photos in Photos. The problem for me is I want to let the pictures where they already are. I'm not interested in a database or the system that hides the pictures of me in the finder. I want to be able to right click and reveal in finder - "export image" is a terrible choice.

So, I see an option to check in the preferences. It reads: "Copy pictures to the photo library" but has no explanation as to what that means or does. This is what it will move my photos if I select copy? (their disappearance from the original file)? It will resume photos - clutter up my drive? If we make a copy and I update the original in Photoshop - it will reflect this change in the Photo?

So many questions and I can not find an answer to any place. Even the help files had nothing that I could find.

Default is 'Copy photos to the photo library' enabled.  Then the pictures will do exactly that. Any Photo that you import pictures is copied in the photo library and managed by pictures. You can remove the original outside the library after you have verified that it imported properly.

If you disable the option, pictures reference the file in its original location and does not copy it.

This configuration is not recommended because you have to manage photos on your own. If you delete photos of Photos, you must delete the original outside yourself. You cannot use iCloud photo library with referenced files and if dot nee restore you from a backup library will need films to another drive, you will need to manually reconnect all originals. It is subject to errors.

If we make a copy and I update the original in Photoshop - it will reflect this change in the Photo?

It will not work. Two Photos will ignore changes to Photosho or lose the connection to the original file. To use an external editor in pictures use extensions to change Photos photo editing panel. Let the pics to send the original to the external editor.

  • What does the option "delete node" in the Inspector?

I noticed that this option was available in the web developer Inspector. What is doing? Thank you!

It removes the html section you right click on the current page. The node is defined as the tag you clicked, the content inside, which could be as little as a word for as much as the entire body of the page.

The change is temporary and is not survive a refreshment, but can be useful in some cases where the page has a design flaw that makes it difficult to use. Or a really boring ad.

  • What does the option, 2nd right, down the canvas of fresh paint do?

I do not know how to make it any easier than this.  The first option (circle) reverses the last traces of paint, the next option (circle) put the paint back stroke and the 4th (circle) is to dry the paint on the canvas so your next color will not mix.  I don't know what option 3 (circle) is for.  I tried several times to see what will happen without any result.  A Yes, I know I'll feel stupid when I find, however, someone please tell me.

What are the options for p-1030 pavion with Windows 7.  I still need a fax of legal documents?

I would like to add a modem fax boarding card.  Is this possible with windows 7 or HP?

    Linda, welcome to the forum.

I suggest try Windows Fax and Scan (Control Panel / devices and printers / Fax) to see if it does what you need.  It allows to send and receive faxes without a fax machine.  When you click fax it will open and give you instructions on how to configure the application.

What does the green dot on my desktop icons?

    Hi Jamie

The green dots are probably coming in a third-party program.

Some backup programs, such as Carbonite, will overlap at a point of color icons of file or program to show the status of backup of this element. In addition, some abtivirus programs will use these points of overlay icon.

Most of the programs will be an option to turn off the icons.

    I hope this helps.

  • Change HDD to the SSD, what are the options?

Hi guys, new to the forum, I just bought a thinkpad x130e during a sales event on one of the local retailer, pretty excited, because I like the rugged design.

I am looking to upgrade to 320G HDD for one SSD 128G... but I have no installation disc 7 windows very practical, so, what are the options for me to install the operating system (windows 7).

I don't know if there is a way to transfer the whole of the SSD HARD drive? is there a trick to perform? or quite simply, I just bought the new copy of windows?

COS, I noticed that I have a windows7 pro product key at the bottom of my thinkpad, I kinda don't want to lose money.

    Help, please...

You don't need to buy another copy of Win7. You will need

1 SSD. It has to be is not 7mm thick, the most common 9.5 mm thick.

2 USB box for your HARD drive,

    3. software to "clone" the content of your disk to your SSD. Acronis True Image is a well-respected package that does this. There are also a few free utilities that can do this, however, I'm not familiar with them.

    Procedure:

    1. move the HARD disc on the outer envelope.

2 put the SSD in the X130e.

3 reboot from the HARD disk. (You need to interrupt the boot with the blue ThinkVantage button to specify).

    4. install Acronis (or equivalent).

5 RIP clone disk. You will have to tell the software how you resize partitions because you go to a smaller drive.

    6 restart from SSD.

When you use find on the page (ctrl + F on Windows) it is a message indicating the total number of matches. What does the first number?
I'm more interested in the case when this number is smaller than the total.

    Hello

I think you mean the text stating "x of there matches", to the right of the box where you entered the search term.

The first number ("x" in my example above) indicates the current entry highlighted on the page that matches the search phrase. If you use the upper and down arrows to navigate through the instances of this term on the page, you will see this number go up and down.

I hope this helps, but if not please come back here and we can look at another solution for you.
