HP all-in-one 200 PC lights / lights flashing

HP all in one PC, model 200-5000 won't turn on. Light green on the back just above where the cards power supply is on, green. The little blue light on the front, right next to the power button flashes as well as the light on the side (HARD drive indicator) and one of the lights on the dvd player. Press the power button and nothing happens.

The power supply is off 19.5 volts.

I've tried holding the switch to the bottom of each running tips and none of them work.

I think all the flashing lights are a clue or a code any.

Any ideas?

All the lights were flashing at the same time.

I removed the hard drive and CD drive and Flash them even when I plugged it in. I then removed the memory and as soon as I plugged it it started to beep (as it should) then put the HDD and memory chip in and he started upward. Equip the other chip, and he started upward. Put all back together and it seems to work very well. I ran the diagnostics and everything passed.

Hard to explain what was wrong. I had already tried the reinstallation of the memory and it did not work. When I plugged it after removing the memory it seemed to wake up.

  • HP all-in - One 200-5120UK: memory upgrade

    Hello

Try to upgarde to 2 2 GB standard memory in this machine to 2 of 4 GB.

Diagnostics of HP hardware of the machine gives installed memory (1333 MHz) DDR3-SDRAM.

    Bought Kingston memory kit reference number KVR13S9S8K2/8, the standard DDR3 1333 MHz Non - ECC CL9, 1R, X 8, 1.5 v, Unbuffered, SODIMM, i.e. 2 per 4 GB.

    Machine does not start.

Switch on the series of beeps constantly repeated, hard drive does not turn, screen does not show.

Replace the original, all memory is OK.

Any thoughts, other than the memory of DOA, which seems unlikely?

Any manipulation of the pieces made with anti-static mast band and wrist in use.

    Thank you.

According to their site memory Configurator, Kingston manufactures modules memory compatible with your desktop from HP 200 - 5120UK.

Since you're in England there are other options. Return the module that you purchased and use a web search, as I did to find the modules that are guaranteed compatible with your desktop computer.

    http://www.mrmemory.co.UK/memory-RAM-upgrades/HP/all-in-one/200-5120uk

Replace the modules by pairs of identical modules. Replacement of simple modules to add to an already installed module results fair on the no start screnarion you met.

That the manufacturers and sellers to try to determine compatibility. In this way, that it involves not spending your ownfunds to find a module that works. Suppliers and manufacturers have their reputation on the line when they guarantee a memory they sell will work as expected.

If does not work reinstall the driver, and then try to use the audio generic driver supplied with Windows. Here's how: in the Manager of devices, right click (or tap and hold) your audio driver > update driver software... > Browse my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer, select the Audio high definition device, click Next and follow the remaining instructions to install it.

  • HP dv7-3085dx power light flashes, but the laptop does not work.

Hello! I have a HP Pavilion dv7-3085dx. It has a hard drive Bay 2.

Recently, I bought the caddy + cable kit and an Intel SSD. The thing is, when I plug the sata cable to the motherboard for the laptop, and the SSD to it, the laptop does not light. When I press the power button, it flashes once (the power LED flashes once), but the laptop does not light. When I press again, nothing happens.

I tried to remove the power supply plug, battery and plug it all again, but the power light flashes once (when you press the power button) and no reaction.

Maybe it's the sata cable: when I remove the new cable and connect the SSD with the sata cable on the 1 hard drive Bay (the cable supplied with the notebook), it works fine. The laptop starts. And when I connect the former sata cable, with the SSD on the second hard drive Bay, it also works.

I just want to now what is the flashing light means light? Why it does not work with the new cable?

Thanks in advance! Sorry for my bad English...

    Emilio.

It is possible that this is a problem with the kit. I would recommend to download and install the latest BIOS update for your laptop, using the download at the following link: http://goo.gl/rbHkg

If it still doesn't work after that, I would recommend to suppress the kit for a replacement or to try another.

  • L7680 All In One - scan light turns off before full page is scanned

When I choose to scan or copy, my L7680 starts the function chosen, but after scanning about 3 inches of the page, the scan turns off light and the rest of the document will appear as solid black. Any ideas on what is the problem and how it can be repaired?

    Thank you.

    Hi there SLM64,

    Welcome to the Forums

I noticed the problem you are having with your Officejet Pro L7680.

I understand that you notice the scanner bulb turn off and it's causing most of your explorations or copies of out of the black. It is a hardware problem that seems as the scanner begins to fail. I have a guide below for you that means two things to try, however, if the guide does not solve the problem, I would suggest calling technical support of HP. They have an option of recovery for you to buy a new unit.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax

If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all

  • I have a HP officejet J6480 all-in-one printer. The screen is white and yellow light flashing

I have a HP officejet J6480 all-in-one printer. The screen is blank and there is this little yellow light flashes on the Cancel button.  I can not print or fax anything because the screen is empty. Since the light started to Flash the entire printer has not worked. Can someone please HELP! : womansad:

Well, if you haven't tried this and then create a coercive power reset:

Do not activate the wide (although you can), remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn on the printer. If that clears up the flashing light/white screen, then try printing etc...

If this is not the case, see if something visible is originally the error state such as paper jam, odd items in the printer, nothing fancy. Also try to plug the printer directly into the wall outlet as opposed to a look/power surge Strip, or even try a Jack in another room if it is not successful.
