  Try to manually install the Vista driver as follows...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the multimedia audio controller needing drivers.  Then click on the driver tab.

  I just wanted to clarify that, as soon as the computer turns on, it freezes? I see that you have started, you were doing a reset, but of course that give you refer to. I would like to perform a hard reset if you have not already.

  To perform a hard reset

  Shut down the computer by going to the menu start and select shut down. (If you have no display, hold the button for 5 seconds)
  Unplug the adapter from the laptop.
  Remove the battery from the bottom of the laptop. There will be a switch/battery eject button.
  Wait at least 1 minute with all sources of power disconnected.
  Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter, and then try to turn on the laptop.

  If this does not resolve the issue, let me know and we'll go from there.

  ON THE PROBLEM

  This problem has happened recently. Once I turn on my desktop mode computer "sleep", it cannot reconnect to the Internet and I use only cable internet which computer is connected via ethernet to the cable-internet-modem/router cable. The computer seems to be able to view all available networks, but she was never able to connect to the Internet (after waking up from sleep).
