• Designjet 815MFC: Designjet 815MFC cannot open the pdf

  I have a Designjet 815MFC printer and scanner.  When I try to print a pdf file through the included touch screen computer, it says that the file format is. I tried standard and the oldest standard pdf that ilistrator is going to happen. I also tried severl a PDF file I had on my computer. I can open them in windows, but all I get out of the computer to printers is that it's a format of file unsuprted. I get the same error with TIFF. JPEG files work well. How to make PDFs and TIFFs work maby?

  I thought about it. I had to install gostscript. For anyone else who has had this problem, here's how I did it.

  First thing we need to do is to change the registry to enable us to start the Task Manager. The way I did is BartPE. You could also change the registry to mount the disk to another windows computer.

  When I boot to BartPE, I press the Start button and open cmd.

  Then I type regedit.exe and press ENTER. Who launches regedit.

  Can I highlight HKEY_USERS

  Press file, load hive

  Go to C:/Documents and Settings/scanneruser data

  Open NTUSER. DAT

  Name it to something, anything, don't forget it.

  Go to this hive

  go to Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/policies

  Highlight the system

  then replace DisableTaskMgr 0

  Start again under the main operating system.

  You should now be able to hit ctrl-alt-delete to start the Task Manager.

  Now, go here and download the GNU license and download the version for 32-bit windows. Throw this download on a USB key and plug the USB into the computer to the printer.

  From there on, press new task file

  and type Explorer

  Go to the USB key and start the installation of gostscript.

  After that, you should now be able to open a PDF file.

  Installed this new printer after you bought specifically for the two plates that I regularly print on letter & legal size paper.  I am disappointed to see that while I have 'legal' or 'letter', defined as the paper type when I sent something to print from word, the printer just draws in the default tray.  I have no option on my mac to select which paper tray to use when I send something to print.  It seems that the only way I can make the selection of the status bar is to go to the printer and change the default setting of the bins.  It is not at all what I thought I was is & am for the first time, disappointed with a product hp =)

  Very strange. The download works as I tried it on my system. Maybe it's a "glitch" in your Internet browser.

  Rather that running can I you select Save. If you see the option you just save the download on your desktop then it will be easy to find later. Once the download is complete, you should get the option to run it. If you see this race to success. An extraction will occur automatically. Once extraction is complete the installation window should open for you. Once you see the installation window you simply continue through the instructions on the screen to install your printer.

  If 'Save' the download doesn't download number, please click here to access the download page again. Once this page please right click on the file name and click on Save target under or Save the link under.

  

  Save a window opens now. Please save the download to your desktop. You can rename the download if you wish. Finally, click Save.

  

  Once the download is completed, you should get the pop up to run it. If you do not get this prompt once the download is complete, click on the download that has been saved on your desktop and select run when prompted.

• DeskJet 3745 cannot detect the paper in the tray

  I recently bought a HP DeskJet 3745 at a yard sale. No problem installing on my Windows 7 desktop.

  However, when I try to print to the printer will not do. He says he's paper (even if there is paper in the tray).

  My guess is that something is wrong with the paper sensor (or switch). I could clean up if I knew what I was looking for, but I don't see anything that could be the sensor of paper. I tried to search the description of the part online and found a site selling a "branch ADF" that meets the description of the probe, but it doesn't have a picture.

  Suggestions for what is the sensor or how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'm not afraid to have to disassemble the printer, if necessary.

  Okay, I found the problem. After that several futile attempts to print, the paper that was in the tray has a black slick spot used a roller running on top of it. The roller needed cleaning. It's the only roll that lies under the main mechanism and it is difficult to go to the. Once I cleaned it, the printer works fine.

  There is no paper sensor, the roller pulls just the paper in ink jet Assembly, which has a trigger switch. The only switch is used to detect paper jams, but also lack of paper in the tray (assuming that the roll is clean).

• HP envy 100 D410a cannot replace the paper path door in the printer!

  Has received a 'false' paper jam message and followed the instructions to remove door paper to address 'paper jam' path (it wasn't any paper stuck).  Now, it is impossible to replace the paper path door.  Help!  Thanks, Brooklynllp

• Windows 7: desktop background cannot change the paper

  I am running Window 7 Home Premium and couldn't change my wallpaper.  After checking the other threads with similar problems under discussion, I am still unable to.

  -J' made sure that 'remove background images' (sicettedonneeestdisponible) is not checked in the ease of access.
  -I don't have any screen third party development programs running.
  -J' ran the File Checker Microsoft system via the command prompt with she in me saying no problems found.

  -When you navigate to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\ the folder is empty.  According to me, that's where the problem should be, but I am unable to find a solution to this.

  Also, when you try to put a picture from a browser as bottom nothing happens.   When you try to set a picture of Windows Photo Viewer I get the message
  "This image may be defined as wallpaper.  An internal error has occurred. »

  SO I DELETED THE FILE FROM THEMES AND MADE A NEW. EXACTLY THE SAME THING. AND NOW I CAN CHANGE THE IMAGES OF WHAT I WANT. IM SO IMPRESSED LOL SORRY TO BE SAD, BUT HE HOOKED ME FOR MONTHS.

  I can imagine your frustration and would be happy to help you!  I suggest to leave the printer, unplug the power cable and move the carriage of hand printing. Of course, it would be on the front of the printer, I have the feeling that you will get a better grip on the paper in this way.

  You may need to remove the print head to allow more light and space to move around.

  In the printing preferences, I can't select the paper of 4 x 6 size, not even using "custom" when you use Corel Photo Paint or MS Word.

  I can do so when printing through Windows Photo Viewer, only problem is it that I get lines across the image, about a po.

  Running Windows 7, printer is CP1518ni.

  We recommend that you try the following:

  Traditionally, remove the entries of 4 x 6, you have installed.

  Then, set the name of your new entry 4 6 4 6 x

  fixed 4 wide

  duration set to 6

  Press save

  Click ok

  We think that this should work for you

• You cannot change the account Type

  When displaying 'Select your new account type' I see the photo that I have assigned and to the right of the image, I see my log in name and under my name, I see "administrator."

  Standard user is the default bullet selected with the administrator being available option.  However, when I place the ball in the ball of the administrator below "change account Type" becomes gray.

  I won't be a standard user with standard user rights.  It comes to my computer at home and no one else is using the computer or lives with me.  So, my question is the following:

  What I do to activate the Administrator option?  And when I put the ball in the Administrator option I will then be able to "Change account Type".

  This computer and my laptop are both running the same operating system: Windows 7 Professional

  Hi again:

  I am not connected as a Standard user.  I am logged in as administrator.

  That's what I told you at the beginning: you ARE connected under an administrator account, so you can not change your account type "Administrator".

  If you are unable to perform certain tasks, then this is because of the restrictions of UAC (User Account Control). Click Start, click Help, and then search for help on UAC. You can disable it if you want, at your own risk.

  P.S. Please do not change your past jobs as this would result in a very confusing thread.

  When I navigate to the PeopleSoft process scheduler page and try to run a process I see the output type and format web and txt only. I am unable to change the output type and format. All formats and types of output are marked as active in the system settings page. I'm super user of the system as well. I have as well the role of Admin ProcessScheduler.   Run the following SQL query to your OPRID:

  SELECT A.CLASSID, PSPRCSPRFL A.OVRDOUTDEST, PSOPRDEFN B WHERE B.PRCSPRFLCLS = A.CLASSID AND B.OPRID = '';

  Make sure that OVRDOUTDEST = 1.

  If it's 0 then you have to fix your configuration profile of the process as follows:

  -Main menu > PeopleTools > Security > list permission > CLASSID research (white list) back to top query

  -Go to the process tab

  

  -Click on "process the profile permissions

  

  S ' ensure that 'substitute an output Destination' is checked. Click OK, and then save.

  

  This should solve your problem.

  According to literature Echo is available for the follwing models

  The echo option is supported only with the interfaces of mediator with the following types of WSDL files:

  Request/response

  Request/response/Fault

  Request/reminder

  Note:

  The echo option is not available for the interfaces of Ombudsman with request/response/fault/reminder of the WSDL files.
  The echo option is available for synchronous request/response and request/response/Fault operations.

  Note:

  Echo option is available for synchronous operations only when the rule of routing is sequential because parallel routing rules are not supported for mediators with synchronous operations.
  For synchronous operations, a conditional filter set, the echo does not return a response to the appellant, when the filter condition is set to false. Instead, a response null is returned to the caller.

  Echo option is available for asynchronous operations unless the mediator interface has a callback operation. In this case, the echo is run on a separate thread.

  Note:

  The asynchronous echo option is only available when the routing rule is parallel. To use the option of the echo, then the sequential routing rules are not supported for mediators with asynchronous operations.

• Cannot change the type of data in the columns referenced by foreign keys

  I'm using Version 3.1.0.691 and change the types of data in many columns of data derived from the field types. If a column is referenced by a foreign key, however, the data type radio buttons are grayed out. I suppose that if I deleted the foreign key, that I would be able to change the data type of the column to a field, but that would be tedious. Is there another way to go about this?

  If a column is referenced by a foreign key, however, the data type radio buttons are grayed out.

  It is not good - if you have the PK column, and it is called by another FK column you can change the data type of column PK and FK column data type will follow the change. You cannot manually change the data type of column FK. Good column PK itself could relate to another column, and in this case you cannot change the data type of column PK.
  In your case - you need to find the first PK/Uk column that is not the column FK itself and change its data type. FK columns in the chain will follow.
