  Removal of the preferences has worked. So far, 10.4 works!

• Is it possible to find which item bin belongs a calendar item using ExtendScript?

  I have several questions in fact. What I'm trying to do, is to understand, is what parts of my bin items are in my active sequence.

  Using ExtendScript, if I get the sequence active of my project and look through the video tracks, I can get a list or elements of each track. The item object don't help me much however. It does not seem any parent property or even a name (even though in the first, I see the name of the bin is displayed on each element of the track). Is it possible for me to understand what bin item is the source of my track point?

  Also, elements have start and end properties that do not appear to relate to the source element. I can sort of understand where the element starts in the source?

  I was interested in getting the information in ExtendScript not to see it first.

  For the article bin, the clip belongs, it's a different solution. It seems that I am confused by the list of issues on the track. If you have a question about your video track which starts at frame 50 I thought that qe.project.getActiveSequence () .getVideoTrackAt (0) .getItemAt (0) would be that point back but it doesn't. When you make the ExtendScript call for a list of questions for the track, you get 3 instead of 1. The first spans from 0-50 and the third from the end of the clip until the end of the timeline. The first and third items are fairly empty objects with just a beginning and an end and no further information, but these are not your clips. Your (second) clip is something very different from the other two and it has a getProjectItem() method that returns the bin clip element belongs to.

  Objects start and end of the object element are actually related to your sandbox don't point not the chronology of the first. The picture in the start object number is therefore the scope of the question bin where the clip begins.

• Selecting and moving several video clips...

  Newbie here.  Sometimes, I want to be able to select several several video clips and move to a specific location, but apparently originating point changes when you select more than one clip.  Y at - it a trick to work around this problem?

  EXAMPLE:

  1. I have a clip in the upper left corner with coordinates 100 100.

  2. I have 5 other video clips to the point of coordinates 300 300.

  3. I would like to be able to multi-Select video clips 5 and type new coordinates: "100 100", and all have to settle.

  As you have noticed, this moves top left of that to 100 100 and others to the same amount, so that three objects always have the same distance between them. That's probably what most people would.

  For you, there's the Panel align. With that you can have the left corner and top objects, and they should all meet at 100 100. Make sure that the attribute Align to stage box is not checked when you do this, otherwise they will go all to 0.0.

• Bind 4 K doesn't work not as expected

  I started working more and more with 4K despite the material does not quite being height.

  We use CatDV on a 48 TB media server so that producers can annotate and select their clips. CatDV also creates proxies with the exact same file names that I can use for the first mounting with.

  When it comes to uprez, I take the offline sequence and choose bind again. I point the first proxy in the list on the clip of 4K and click OK. I would expect first auto add a link to the other items in the list to the new location/images but everything else in the list just goes back to be bound for the proxies. The only way I can get this process works as expected must temporarily rename the proxy folder, but which has the effect of disconnecting all sequences including bin clips.  So, after re-Binder the sequence to 4 K, I have to go out, rename the proxy folder to le nom d' origin and then go back and re - link all the clips of bin as well.

  This seems to be a very sloppy workflow.  Any suggestions out there on how to simplify?

• Replace original sound of the audio excerpt

  I accidentally erased my audio files from my hard drive.

  The project used a Zoom H2 audio with Dub.

  When I open the project and SKIP ALL (since the files are missing), the extracted audio shows on my calendar.

  Is there a magic wand that can allow me to place the H2 audio ORIGINAL by designating the audio extracted?

  I tried the function replacement in the project bin clip but that did not work, it is as if he had another point.

  Please let me know if you need more details.

  While CTI is in terms of the sequence, press F.  Who will load this element in the Source monitor, with good In/Out points.  You can then drag down just the audio to replace the part "extracted".

• Import one or more folders

  I am usually given a HD with images which are organized into folders:

  I like to keep that structure when can I import in first, but it seems just to empty the images in the media pool.

  Is it possible to import your footage files and force the CS6 first to keep your folder structure and create locations accordingly?

• x 64 application entity Framework using Oracle.DataAccess.Client

  I am trying to build a x 64 application Entity Framework using the current Oracle.DataAccess.Client.  I can launch the application as Any CPU and x 86 using the managed provider, but when I compile for x 64, I get the error below when running. If I change the provider to Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client it works with x 86 and x 64 compiler.  Unfortunately, we are unable to use the managed provider until the xml is supported.  I have two clients x 86 and x 64 installed.  Any ideas?

  Finally, we have solved the problem.  It turns out that we had a bad x 64 home path in the PATH variable.  I lost track of what it was originally, but I'm sure the x 64 bin path was correct. I did not notice that it was wrong, until I tried to install the full client and began to see an error indicating that it was missing a dll.  This led me to a post on the forum, in which you indicated that the PATH variable has not been set (ODAC 12 c for xcopy issues).  In our case, it is not missing, just fake.

  This is the behavior that we see if the PATH variable for the home directories and bin is incorrect:

  • Full client: an error of external system (no exceptions).  The error message is that the oraons.dll is missing.
  • XCOPY customer: generates an exception without error message.  The Exception.Message property is empty and there is no inner exception.

  Can the ODP team can add a meaningful message for this exception?  If the exact error cannot be highlighted during execution, a generic name on the path audit would help enormously.  I must have looked at it a dozen times and didn't notice that it was false.  If I had no idea that this could be the cause, it would be discussed more in detail, or had someone else Verify that it was correct.  I hope that we would have solved much earlier.

  I turned a conference with 2 cameras. One is 29, 97i and the other at 23, 98p. I did an edit multi-pince. I noticed the movement of 29, 97i camera is choppy. What should I do to correct this?

  Jerky in what way? Jerky stabilization? Where are you seeing this? In the clip of browser? In the multicam Editor? In the project? What frame rate is the multicam clip and the project?

  Hi, I want to save, or rather a multi-cam clip that I created and attach it to the rest of my export venture. Is this possible? When I do the usual way of export, which is share > export, it won't let me.

• Organizing under the leadership of Clips: is it possible to cut clips in a bin?

  I'm sure this is a silly question - but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. All my projects are long exercise videos - where I almost don't use each element of a sequence in order, cut out the fat and that's kind of who.

  But I am now working on a documentary style with a ton of clips sheet different b-roll that I try to organize in stores instead of the timeline.

  Here's what has confused me. What I would do is firstly, organize by subject or scene that is no problem. But from there, I would go in these trays and cut the fat of each clip so that when I go to put together - I've got clips that are ready to fall. I get that I could use just in and points - but most of the clips have more than one section in them that I want to use. No there is no way to divide part somehow? Whereas when I'm done, everything, I have folders full of clips that already were alleviated and are ready to die if necessary.

  I tried to do it in a sequence and then dragging that I made in a sandbox - but then in the bin: this is simply the original clip.

  I know I'm going to feel like a fool when I hear the answer to that. My apologies in advance!

  After turning in entry/exit points on a part of an element, use the feature to create a subclip, renaming the clip segment at the same time. You can then store & move sublcips you like. In addition, they are appointed for purpose.

• First CC multi clip - adding markers for each camera.

  I use the latest version of first CC 10.3

  I'm editing with a sequence of the multi clip and when I add a marker in the window of my multi source clip marker seems common to all cameras.

  I want to add markers specific to each camera.

  Anyone know if it is possible for the markers to be visible only to the camera selected in the multiclip? (or for the selected camera view a collection when the marker is relevant for her?)

  The only work-around I have found so far is to color markers, a color for each of the cameras - which is a pain and time consuming.

  First of all, Premiere Pro has no capacity multi-clip.  It is the CPF.  You work in Premiere Pro now.

  Premiere Pro has blocking abilities, but it uses some sequences nested for the work.  And since the sequences and elements behave differently for certain things, including markers, there is a difference over a simple semantics.

  If you want to apply markers for the original clips, you must open the Multicam Source sequence.  Right-click on that in the tray, and then select open in the editing.

• All clips in my sequence of multi camera went black

  After spending a long time, editing a sequence of multi cameras, all the clips have now gone black. The waveform has disappeared, but the audio is not yet. Other clips on the same timeline, including another sequence mulitcam all seem to be good and I can't identify exactly where it happened in what concerns the measures I did.

  The last element in the sequence multicam has diagonal white lines through it. I don't know if this is related? Online forums suggest it's something to do with the insufficient media, but I don't really know what that means. The camera angle ends before the other, it's the only thing I can think of that would cause the white lines.

  I have attached some sceenshots I hope clearly the question - can anyone help? I'm desperate: I lost several hours of work! Thank you!

  I have it solved! (With the help!) It turns out that the original source multicam file has been deleted. I was able to return to a previous AutoSave and import it into the current version of the project and add a link to my sequence for it. So relieved to have solved this problem without having to re - edit. Thanks again for the help!

• Is there any way to "adapt to the size of the image" a bin of clips?

  I run a 1920 x 1080 doc project in first Pro CC with a range of sizes and types of media.  I purposely do NOT preset preference "default scale to the size of the image" to maintain the quality of my still image data base to allow pans and zooms.  I imported since, connected and sub cut a very large number of 720 x 486 QT stock of archive films.  After doing without presetting of the first scaling by default, I am experiencing now to apply "scale to the size of the image" to each edition in my sequence that I work.  Is there any way to "adapt to the size of the image" my bin of clips? or am I now stuck having to convert the original movies to 720 x 486 QT 1920 x 1080 and then reissue of links in first to keep all my data void cutting?
