    I read about your printing problem, you with your Deskjet 2512, on Windows 7 and I want to help him. The screen image you posted, it seems that the full functionality of the driver and the software is not installed completely.

    Here's what I suggest for you.

    1. Try to uninstall the printer software completely from the Control Panel, make sure that you remove all components of HP printers.
    2. Restart the PC entirely.

    I understand that you have a Deskjet 2512 which is not able to open the Printer Wizard, it opens to text pages. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll certainly do my best to help you!

    From what you described, it seems that your printer wizard opens to a page of the Notepad. I suggest you follow this document Opens Assistant HP printer with an error in Script or in Notepad to get the problem resolved.

  • All-in-one HP Deskjet 2512: all-in-one deskjet HP 2512 / "alignment failed".

    I installed a new HP ink cartridges (61XL) in my all-in-one printer of 2512.  When I try to do the alignment (several times), I get the message on the screen of "alignment failed".  Printed, but not correctly.  Does anyone have a solution?

    I underatand you can't print anything from your Mac, however, print a test page.

    I suggest these steps in order, and then try to print again.

    1. Mac OS X: how to reset the printing system
    2. Repair disk permissions
    3. Restart the Mac.
    4. Install the full functionality driver here: HP Deskjet 2510 and 2510 ink advantage all-in-one printer series full feature software and drivers
    5. In addition, to download this driver: HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers

  • HP Deskjet 2512: HP Deskjet 2512 not print or copy in black but the color of the works very well

    Help, please. New cartridge. I remove the plastic. It is authentic HP inks. The works of fine color but black wont print or copy and that's what I use most. Aggrivating.

    Sorry it took so long to respond, but whenever I clicked on the link for the doctor to printing and scanning, it says the page has no load but, at random, he began to print in black. I printed the first screen of our conversation, just on the off chance that he himself and it printed fine so I tried a few other documents and all is good-to-go. Thanks a lot for your help! I'll be sure to mark my issue as resolved. Thank you!

  • HP Deskjet 2512: Shadows impression on my word documents

    Just changed my HP ink cartridges. First of all, I got vertical lines in picture I tried to print on photo paper. Then after searching for ways to correct, I noticed when printing words I get a shadow on the printed words. I need to get this fixed so I can print postage for packages soon. Any help will be very welcome and appreciated. The shadows bother me anymore.

  • scanner HP recording do not sweep up under El Capitan

    After successfully I scan a document using my printer/scanner HP Deskjet 2512, the digitized file did not save to my office. This is the first time I came across this problem, now that I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3 version. Is there a fix in a future software update? Internet checking it seems is not a unique problem, but something associated with the update to El Capitan.

    Check the scanning software to make sure that the default saving location has not changed because of the upgrade to 10.11.3.

    You can always reinstall this software and drivers required.

    No. 2 and 3 seems to be specific to the printer drivers not working not properly.

    You can follow these methods to check whether the problem is resolved.

    Method 1:

    Step 2: Update Windows.

    As you have just upgraded to Vista, there may be some Windows updates pending. Please refer to this article and install updates.

  • Incompatible cartridge?

    I have a HP Deskjet 2512. The black ink cartridge was empty, I went in a center of filling/recycling cartridge local and bought a replacement. When I inserted the cartridge in the printer and tried to print a document, an error message came that says "the following print cartridges are not intended to be used to this printer as it is currently configured: black." Refer to the printer documentation. »

    Can I substitute this error message? I must stress that I am a Mac user.

    Probably this problem is caused by either a disruption in the power of cartridges (i.e. of the electrical contacts Sales), or the cartridge is just defective.  I wasn't able to find a complete document dedicated to the problem you are having, but I found a document that does not have this error.  The complete document will be linked below, but here are the steps that I pulled from this document.

    Icon level one ink and ink icon flashes and the attention light is on.

    My computer no longer recognises my printer. I keep receiveing an error of 0x800706b9 print spooler

    I tried the net start spooler command, but that has failed. What to do next? Help, please!

    I understand that you are no longer able to print from your computer Windows 8.1 for the all-in-one printer HP Deskjet 2512 as your computer reports a 'print spooler error: 0x800706b9'. I would like to help you today with the resolution of this error of print spooler. Now, just so you know, the print spooler is a feature of your operating system. It is integrated with your Windows computer. Essentially, it's the printing system built into your computer. Printers rely on the print spooler works to print. The spooler is not specific to HP. So, I will be able to offer you a few steps of standard troubleshooting on the computer. However, if the problem persists you may need to talk with Microsoft Product Support or your computer manufacturer to solve this problem of operating system. That being said, can I please have you follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

    Step 1: Check print spooler:

    1. Open your screen to Start by clicking the Windows button on the lower left side of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows key bottom left of your keyboard, to the right of the Ctrl key
    2. In the start screen, type run
    3. Click Run to launch the run dialogue box
    4. In the run box, type services.msc and click OK
    5. When the Services window opens scroll down until you see the print spooler
    6. Click Print Spooler once just to highlight
    7. If you Start in the upper left corner that indicates that your print spooler is actually stopped (not good). But we will leave that for now.
    8. If you stop or restart in the upper left corner, this indicates that your print spooler is actually started. Please click on stop to stop the service momentarily.
    9. Reduce this window which will allow us to come back here

    Step 2: Check the spooler folder:

    1. Reopen your splash screen
    2. Computertype. Click on the computer (or on This PC) when it fills so
    3. In the computer window, select your Drive C
    4. Click on Windows
    5. Click on System32
    6. Click on the reel
    7. Click PRINTERS. You can get permissions to a warning, just continue beyond that.
    8. PRINTERS of the folder must be empty. If there is no file here, they are corrupt print jobs. Right click on anything in that folder and 'delete' files.
    9. Close the PRINTERS folder

    Step 3: Start Spooler and audit dependencies:

    1 open the Services window we previously minimized

    2. click on print spooler to highlight

    3. click on Start in the upper left corner

    4. If you get an error message please take note of this

    5. If the print spooler starts successfully you will see "stop and restart" as your options at the top left

    6. then, double left click on print spooler. A print spooler properties window is now open. Click the connection tab at the top. Can you please make sure that it is set to Local System account and make sure that the check box is selected to "Allow the Service to interact with desktop".

    7. then click on the tab "dependencies". Please check which dependencies are listed. I need to know this if the problem persists when you have completed the steps I provide in this post.

    8. click on apply and OK for any changes that you have made the log tab. Close the Services window.

    Once the Print Spooler Service has started successfully, you should be able to access your printer HP Deskjet under devices and printers on your computer folder Windows 8.1. Also, you should be able to print. Can I please have you test the impression at this stage to confirm that the print spooler error has been resolved.

  • hp61 in 2512 refill color deskjet refuses to work out who 16 contacts to clear the cartridge

    A lot of suggestions, but none seems work 2512 filled color deskjet printer the printer won't scan or print. someone suggested covering contacts etc.there are 16 contacts on cartridge covering and do what it takes to get the unit to print?
