HP deskjet 3070 a install failure

I've recently downgraded my laptop win 8 for win 7. Everything works fine, except that I'm having trouble installing the printer.

-win 7 (64 bit)

-HP deskjet all-in-one 3070

-drivers: DJ3070_B611_1315.exe, DJ3070_B611_Basicx64_1315.exe

The problem is that during installation, the printer is not able to recognize the printer when it is connected to the USB port (Yes, I waited to sign up to request installation) and so the driver is not installed (or not entirely?). I am not able to uninstall and try again in the control panel: "problem with transformation paths.."

Any advice would be welcome.

FIX:

-removed errors (transformation paths) via regedit

-uninstalled the driver (config)

-installed the older version of the driver (12.7.0)

    The CD that came in the box is not intended for Lion mountain as the printer was made before the release of the OS.

  • Can't install Deskjet 3070 on WinXP SP3

    I can't install the software for a new Deskjet 3070 B611a printer on a Windows XP SP3 desktop.  The printer is connected to a home network wireless and works very well on a laptop Win7 and laptop WinVista.  They communicate wirelessly to the network.  The desktop machine has a wired connection to the wireless router.  I tried the troubleshooting tools, but nothing seems to tell me what is the real problem.

    It seemed to install OK on the office, the first time, but when I tried printing on the printer it says it couldn't communicate with him.  So I uninstalled the printer and am now in the process of re - install.  But now she even did not finish the installation process.  I tried to disable the firewall - no change.

    Thank you, but I seem to have found a way around it.  I downloaded the software from the HP site and used instead of the Conference on disarmament.  But more importantly (I think), I have set up as a USB printer connected first, and then he changed the network connection.  This seems to have worked.  Thanks for your replies.

    I wonder if others have had similar problems or ideas on the underside, surely I can't be the only one to use this installation/suffering with this problem.

    Printers: HP Deskjet 3070 All in One (USB/Wifi)

    Operating systems: Windows 7 64-bit (installed absolutely fine on Win 7 32 bit laptop computer connected via wifi).

    Setup: - a Homehub BT, providing WiFi for laptop (Win7 32 bit), a desktop computer (WinXP SP3), the printer has an IP address, which is visible on the home network map - it has a MAC address also. My PC: connected by Ethernet to the homehub which is currently running wifi for all of the foregoing.

    Drivers using downloaded: -.

    + Computer laptop Win 7 32 bits connected via WiFi to the Homehub - installed fine, found printer - this is the stage where the printer receives a configuration intial IP address / completed.

    + WinXP SP3 connected through WiFi to Homhub - as above, correct, opportunity driver found the printer (which, at this time already, there).

    If the printer exists within the network, other computers can see / use it.

    ++ My PC: Win 7 64 bit connected by ETHERNET to Homehub (she does not and will not have a wireless option).

    Downloaded the drivers to install HP. (later tried "Run as Administrator"), select the software components (i.e. Remove feedback/coupons etc), installs OK applications, next step is the configuration of the printer. Add a new printer. "Check network" window appears with the message "Checking network environment" bar and the State. The status bar springs upward but stops dead at the filled Stadium. No possibility to choose whatever it, pressing Cancel has no effect. End of task here generates an error of 'work '. 'devicesetup.exe' stopped The installer never ends, applications are installed, but at no time, it shows the printer/selection.

    I tried many things: complete uninstall "engines", which in this case seem to be the only applications, ensure that all non-essential startup items are disabled, make sure that the firewall is DISABLED (just to be sure), ensure that the anti-virus is disabled there is, in fact, no other printer installed (this computer never had a printer attached to it) make sure file sharing and printing are powered, ensure that there is no TCP/IP/ports printers mapped etc... Still the same error, old or new drivers, always the same - installation does not complete.

    All the doctor diagnostic tools/printing tell me I have to install the driver software (I agree) but direct me to the HP site to download the ones I already have.

    I can't enter the Server Web integrated (the PC where I can't install the drivers, or one of the 2 PC's who have installed correctly). One of them if I click on networking or wireless or advanced it warns a HTTPS connection and then fails with "internal server error".

    My questions to someone kind enough to read this wall of text: -.

    + Anyone has any ideas please? I would prefer not to return the printer as defective because it seems to be a good all-rounder and it works for 2 other PCs in the House, its just mine which does not connect! Sad...

    I'll try the USB installation and then removing the USB-> wireless to see if that can help. I had previously seen articles where people offer to buy a router to 3rd party like that is basically a wifi pass through broadcaster. It is not for me thanks

    Thank you all for reading at least, it's now corrected with slightly reduced functionality.

    Install the USB printer, then DO NOT convert into wireless via HP drivers/installation.

    Change the USB to a TCP/IP port port newly created under the control panel of the printer (windows 7), enter the IP manually to the printer - you want an IP address that will change not in order to make this work - forcing the Home Hub to never provide that the same IP unique to this particular device was the easiest way for me. This connected but showed as offline printer constantly, others may have different experiences.

    To fix that (for me): -.

    Installing the printer in Control Panel Goto, force reinstall drivers HP ("via the drive"). Make sure that all the old files are overwritten. Turn the printer and then turn on (power button - twice if in mode "standby" to disable). Wait until the wireless light will stop flashing and become solid blue. Check in Control Panel if the status is online, if so you are good to go

    As a result of this sabotage, you lose the feature advanced scan for PC etc etc, but the real impression seems to be absolutely perfect. The printer is always available to everyone on the network, etc.

  • Problems installing HP Deskjet 3070 in cartridge.

    I had problems with the work wireless on my "HP Deskjet 3070 all-in-one printer" and after trying different solutions, that I found on the HP support, I decided to give in and factory reset it.

    This gave me a new problem, the printer must now cartridges setup of, well, put in place. I keep after they failed so I tried reuse them for installation, but they do not work because they have already been used. Is it possible I'd be able to get new ones?

    You restore the default settings of the printer setting menu?  If this isn't the case, then you had to access a special menu?

    Do you have what reset selected?

    Also, the cartridges of CONFIGURATION are not able to buy from a retailer.  The only way to get the cartridges INSTALLATION is through HP Technical Support.  I don't know what options they have for you in this case are, but I know that they are the only ones with these cartridges outside the original, the value provided with the printer.

    Tried for awhile scan documents, etc., I am unable to do so.  I tried the HP print and doctor Scan and the message that I have for them is "this tool was unable to resolve the problem even after a reboot" someone at - it had a similar problem and managed to resolve it?     I would help you today to solve the driver Scanner error you receive when you try to scan from your HP Deskjet 3070 e-all-in-one printer to your Windows 7 computer. Thank you for including the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. Because the HP print and the tool of analysis of the doctor could not solve the pilot error that you are experiencing, I'll run through some software manual and driver troubleshooting steps.     Step 1: Uninstall the device:

    For the purposes of troubleshooting, it is crucial that we have a clean slate to work with your computer. Therefore, before you perform the "fix" I'll take remove you the package driver HP full software functionality of your system. If you use a USB cable connection between your HP Deskjet and your Windows computer can I please have you unplug this cable now.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select all programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select the HP Deskjet printer

    Step 2: Remove temporary files:

    1. Click on the Start menu

    3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
    4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    5. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
    6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

    Step 3: Install the device:

    1. Please click here to download the package full feature software and driver for your HP Deskjet printer
    2. Once the download is complete, follow the prompts on the screen to install your printer
    3. If you use a USB cable connection, do not connect the USB cable until the installation screen invites you to
    4. Once the installation is complete, please try to scan the image.

    Hi, I'm a mac user and have just updated my system to the latest OSX 10.9.1.

    When I try to reinstall my printer from the disk driver, it says it does not support the latest mac system.

    So I scoured the HP support site and follow everystep to reinstall my printer, a HP Deskjet 3070 (its got this model name on the machine).

    When I click in the preference\Printers & Scanners\ (+ new printer) on my system.

    The only printer in my machine can detect (wireless) is "Deskjet 3070 B611 series [80AA1E] | "Hello multifunction", which I ' m do not know if it is equal to the '3070 A Deskjet '. After login, only the print function works well (lack even the borderless printing option) but this isn't the scan function. When I press on "Scan", either in the Panel of breeding stock & Scanners or image capture, a screen says 'Software for this device is not installed' bulging Dungeon. He asked me to contact HP for the latest version of the software. I wonder if there is no object, I can do for my all-in-one printer works as it was, particularly the sweep feature, pleaes help.

    I bought a new Deskjet 3070 and it doesn't work.  I've been in touch several times with the help of HP in Singapore, and 12 days later I still don't have a resolution.  I, has so far, spoke with Michelle in customer service, Rachel in technical assistance (who accompanied me through a re-start of the printer) and have received and responded to emails of both above, Steve, Samantha, Jason and Martin all have to thank me for my patience, while also offering to help me more.

    The last email received reads as follows:

    Anne, we have already sent proof of purchase sent by you to the team concerned. The dedicated team will be back you shortly regarding the replacement of the device. Thank you for your patience.

    Another email indicates that the team "concerned" is the hardware support or phone support team.  There seems to be some confusion about who is able to make a decision about a new printer that doesn't work.  I, of course, simply look for a replacement (again, compared to renovated, of course).

    As I seem to be getting anywhere here, hoping that the global support desk might be able to intervene and demonstrate the type of customer service that your loyal customers of HP are used to.

    4 restart your computer

    5. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    I'll put up my new HP Deskjet 3070. This printer has wireless capability. I would use it wireless with my laptop Macbook Pro (OSX 10.6.8).

    I don't have a wifi network or router at home. That's why I created a wifi (one to one) on my mobile ad - hoc network, named MyPrinterNetwork. This is the type of network used to connect a computer to the other on wifi. MyPrinterNetwork is then visible to other devices compatible wifi (other computers, smartphone,...), and devices can connect to the network (and share files or Internet by wifi). This thread http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/Connect-Deskjet-3070A-wirelessly-to-my... suggests that this printer is able to connect to ad hoc networks.

    I then launch the HP utility to configure the printer. But when the screen appears with the list of available wifi networks, MyPrinterNetwork is not in the list. The list contains only the other wifi available through networks points (values in wifi mode column are all infrastructure) access. If I try to enter the name of a network manually, the software indicates that the printer cannot see or connect to this network.

    Executive Summary:

    -Someone would confirm that the printer Deskjet 3070 is able to connect to the ad-hoc wifi networks?

    -If so, why my adhoc network isn't in the list in the configuration utility?

    Deskjet 3070 Network Infrastructure support only, it does not support the ad-hoc connection.

    As you can find in the user manual:

    Traditional wireless connection (requires router)
    
    To connect the HP All-in-One to an integrated wireless WLAN 802.11 network, you will need the following:
    
    - A wireless 802.11b/g/n network that includes a wireless router or access point.
    NOTE: 802.11n will only support 2.4Ghz
    
     A desktop computer or laptop with either wireless networking support, or a network interface card (NIC). The computer must be connected to the wireless network that you intend to install the HP All-in-One on.

    As an alternative, try feature that allows the mac to act as a router in Mac OS X internet sharing Infrastructure mode:

    A limitation, you should be aware, the Internet sharing security supports WEP in shared only authentication mode that is not supported by the printer you can find below:

    Therefore, you should keep sharing without security password in order to connect the printer to the network.

    I installed a printer HP Deskjet 3070 for a neighbor. During installation, I used cartridges HP 364 'standard' instead of the cartridges 'setup '.     continue to use your cartridge installation first and when they will be empty use the cartridges 'standards', if the CAP custom fit more on the 'standard' cartridges put them in something sealed so that they don't dry out until you need it.

    (On your printer) Reconnect the printer to the network by running the Wireless Setup Wizard and try to restart the web services. If this is not enough, you may need to change some settings of DNS in the EWS (built-in web server) printers
    * To do this, put the IP address in a browser window on your PC.

    This should start the integrated Web server. In SAP, select the network on the network tab, select 'network '.

    Then select "network address" (IP). Do not change the IP configuration at the top. Go down under "DNS address configuration"and select 'Manual DNS server'. " Under manual DNS server, enter (an 8 in each box on the first line) 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on the second line. Press the button 'Apply' at the bottom.

    Now try to connect to Web Services again.
