  Sorry, this is not Microsoft.  This is a public forum from user to user hosted by Microsoft on its servers for the comfort of its clients, and we all here are volunteers.

  You say you use XP.  What is your question?  What do you mean 'conflicts with Vista?

  I suggest recovery discs you order from HP for your computer.  If HP is no longer the issue of stocks you can order such a third of Recovery - Disks.com.  There are several of these companies.  If you are going to use XP, you need to install XP from scratch and this means that you need XP drivers for your brand and model.  If HP has no XP drivers on your computer you must not try to use XP on it.

  Remember that Vista Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate out of Microsoft support on 10 April and there will be more updates, including critical security patches after that date.  Only Vista business and company will continue to receive updates.  You might consider this a good time to upgrade to Windows 7.  You must download and run the Windows Update Advisor once you restored Vista successfully.

  Any rejection of Pages v5 (including v5.6.1) cannot print comments. The function is not supported. You can however, export your Pages to Word .docx document, and the comments are going to survive.

  Open the Word in the free LibreOfficedocument and its printing Panel has options not only for the printing of comments in a Word document, but you want those displayed. This is due to LibreOffice using a panel of print custom. These are present in the tab more as shown below:

  I'm sorry.  Unfortunately, given the age of the printer, a downloadable Win7 driver never appeared, leaving the driver in Win7 as the only option.

  Hi, I think I've gotten help to solve my problem with playback of DVDs with different codes that WMP will accept. I downloaded a NEW multimedia player of BS to WWW.filehippo.com/download bsplayer/8842/who worked for the media BS player. I got help with THAT download to get, I got the SECOND version listed on the left column. Now works on computer, next step is to get the "firmware" for Panasonic download on my dvd player, and it will play as well.   Try the following: open Adobe Reader go to edit-> Preferences menu

  • under Documents, change "Show the documents in PDF/A mode" Never
  • under the (enhanced) protection, clear protected at Startup Mode

  Restart the drive & try to print.
