  I have a computer laptop dv6-2150us pavilion which, for some unknown reason, does not. I was working very well. I stopped and would not start in a couple of hours. I kept the power button down as others have suggested, but nothing happens. A laptop is dead.

  One thing I think is to change the battery. Before the power loss, my battery needed replacement. I had to keep the laptop plugged in to work. I couldn't work on the battery.

  The first thing, remove the battery and unplug the power adapter and leave it without power for a minute.

  Then plug the AC adapter in (be sure to leave the battery) and see if the laptop. If it doesn't, the next test would be to check the power adapter (reconnect it in community/points of sale). If this still does not work, you will need to try another adapter to see if the laptop turns on.

  This computer is the new 12-inch mac that came out this spring.when I've updated about a month ago, it would not turn off. I got tired of hold down the b power button to turn it off.   Stop your Mac. Use the power button if you wish. Now start with the SHIFT key is pressed. This will start in Safe Mode, with all extensions turned off. Safe mode is slow to start, so give it time, it checks a lot of staff. If it works fine in Safe Mode, restart normally. If it works now, you are finished.

  If the problem comes back after a reboot, you have an extension conflict. Disable all extensions via system preferences. To isolate which extension is at fault, turn on an extension at the same time, restart in the meantime, until you find bad.

  I have a HP laptop since 2012. A few days ago I turned on him and it freezes. IK it turned on again and after a few minutes, it is suddenly turned off.

  Welcome to the HP forums!

  I read your post on the analysis of the problems with your HP Photosmart Plus B209 a - m and wanted to help.

  I don't have the same printer model, but I do not have other HP printers, and the process is essentially the same.  When you install the full exercise for the printer software, it installs a shortcut on the desktop that allows you to scan to PC.  I did it with two different HP network printers and it works the same for both.

  IF it shows no Windows 7 when you open it, click the Edit button and select Windows 7 from the pulldowns.

  Plug the DC power adapter (leave the battery for now)
  Press the power button

  Because you can't go to your office, I suggest that you start your computer in safe MODE. Next to normal mode, it is a different way to connect to your computer and makes a few changes when the problem.

  HOW TO START YOUR COMPUTER IN SAFE MODE

  1. Restart your computer if it is running.
  2. Press the F8 key after your computer powers initially.
  3. Once you see the menu Advanced Startup Options , you can stop tapping.
  4. Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
  5. Select Safe Mode with network and press enter.
  6. You should see loading drivers and then Please wait.
  7. You should then be on the Welcome screen.

  Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
