HP EliteDisplay E241i - screen LED

I goofed big time. I bought a HP EliteDisplay E241i - LED display on the internet.

It happened today but A No. SPEAKERS!  (my fault)

Love the monitor, but need the sound to play games.

HP has one to adapt to this monitor?

What is the part number, model number, or can I use any soundbar?  Does anyone have a recommenadtion?

Thank you in advance...

Well, I had no sound because this E241i model has no speakers - duh! (my fault)

Went to Wal-Mart and bought cheap pair of headphones (under $ 5).  So now I have sound.

Wish you the instruction Manual has been in America or even English.  Everything was Portuguese, Spanish or Mexican?

Pictures help me to install the monitor of E241.

I consider that this request for help - CLOSED!

The LED should not need any time "warm up".  Disable power saving mode and see what happens.

  • How can I save my iPhone 6 given my screen LED is completely broken!

iTune enabled me to enter my password, but my screen enabled me to beat up! IM using Mac

If the screen is broken and you cannot enter your password, then you will not be able to backup the device to iTunes. Is this the same computer and iTunes that you have backed up and synced this device to in the past?

At this point, your only option is to try to have the screen replaced by Apple and we hope that you will give the backup path. If the device cannot just have the screen replaced, then you will lose data from the last backup that you did.

  • The LED screen is used in different iPhones to AMOLED?

I have a neurological disease, and when I tried the iPhone 6 it caused severe pain in my eyes. Talk to Apple, I think that there are many factors, which increased the contrast ratio and the double domain pixels for wider view angles. Each single possible remedy and the brightness setting advanced (things like abd reducing the point white/reduce transparency/darken colors and also using the trick in the zoom settings which can be lower than the standard options brightness) has been tried with the help of the Apple support, but nothing helped, so I went back to my iPhone 5 s.

I am interested in the iPhone, and screen specifications are the same as the children of 5 years, with the exception of the screen LED instead of the LCD screen. He explained to me by a sales guy Apple that this would make the brighter than 5 s screen, but I hope that this can be supported with advanced above settings and functionality of night shift, which I already use. I tried once a Samsung phone with an AMOLED screen, and who has been terrible for my eyes and had to be returned.

So, when Apple said that the SE (and their other current phones) are HEADED, they mean AMOLED, or is there a difference? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

No, Apple did not use any screen AMOLED displays still on any of their devices.  Poster of line Samsung Galaxy may be best know series with AMOLED screen, but Motorola and Nokia have used on some of their devices too.

Any screen LCD needs backlight behind it to display anything, and on small portable devices that meant for the White Backlight LED (older computer LED screens and televisions used actually cold cathode ray tubes - fluorescent tubes).  Apple retina displays are still fairly traditional IPSLCD led displays for the backlight.  "Retina" is just brand name Apple for their superiors than standard resolution LCD screens.

The terms LED display and the LCD display are unfortunately become almost synonyms in the speech from the market.  But the actual display is an LCD screen and the light source that shines through it to display the image's LEDs.  An LCD on an iphone without backlight appears simply black.

  • DX70/DX80 video output to LED screen

    Hello

I got DX70/DX80 phones registered to Cisco Call Manager.

My query is that: If we extend DX70/DX80 video output on screen LED Sony/Panasonic HDMI port?

    regds,

    Aman

It is possible for the DX70, but not for the DX80, is not possible when the HDMI input is used as the output does not work at the same time. Refer to the section "Ports and slots" in table 2 of the DX70 and DX80 data sheets.

  • LED screen on 8600 e - printers will all white

This seems to be a hardware problem with the printer. Knowing that you can't do the reset through the façade, the only option here is to call HP @8004746836 and see what options we have to repair or replace the unit.

  • 2012 MacBook Pro renovated migrated 8/20, screen has blacked out for the second time

can not force stop with long hold on the power button / stop. The first time was in the second day of use, after all the updates from app store. Screen was back the next morning. 4 GB of ram, mid-2012, os 10.11.6.

I have the same PBM and had a similar problem. One day I went to turn on my MBP and the screen was black.

It was seems to be dead. The screen was not lit. I tried the Mini external display port with a television by HDMI cable and adapter screen.

    https://www.Amazon.com/Sabrent-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-adapter-da-MDHA/DP/B017NK IQ8M/ref = sr_1_5? ie = UTF8 & qid = 1471973756 & sr = 8-5 & keywords = + mini displayport + to + hdmi + 4 k

And the macbook worked fine with the TV. TV display showed MBP display very well.

This led me to believe that there is just something wrong with my screen LED on the MBP.

So I opened the back cover of the MBP and looked inside.

I saw the cable that connects the screen LED MBP to motherboard and disconnected it and then reinstall it.

I then closed the MBP and restarted.

IS!... LED MBP display worked again. If the problem was simply that the cable of the LED screen did not have a good connection. So, just to be disconnected and reconnected to make good contact.

This maybe off topic but it's worth a try. It may be your screen LED cable which does not have a good contact.

  • HP15-N096EA: screen inverted colors, also flickers back to normal

    Model: HP15-N096EA

When the laptop is turned on the screen colurs are reversed i.e. Blue becomes orange, white becomes black etc. sometimes it flickers in normal colors i.e. Blue shows as blue etc.

I checked magnifers invert colors is not lit but when I turn it on the color switch reversed the normal colors of course. There is also a flickering vertical as all other vertical lines is missing or phases in and out.

I started in safe mode to see if it is a driver problem, but the colors are reversed again, I booted into the BIOS and once again the colours are reversed and just to cover all the bases, I started a live Mint Linux DVD 17.1 and the legendary green of the distribution of currency was a pretty lilac. I also tried high i.e. contrast left SHIFT + left ALt + PRTSCN.

My feeling is it's the monitor or the graphics chip and I cover more towards the monitor. Tomorrow I'll do a screengrab to see how that comes out and will also connect to an external monitor to see if the flicker and shimmer is always present.

Whereas it is literally a month and 6 days to ensure bad enough, I would have liked a little more than a laptop seized started failing.

Update from yesterday: I made a screengrab of HP using the tool cutting in windows 7, it shows the reverse color that is negative, I saved this screengrab on a USB key and it opens on my Mac, the picture shown correctly and not as a negative.

It's the image that is displayed on the laptop, there is no inversion of color, no graphics settings are displayed not correctly resolved, I actually set all settings back to default values.

It's the screengrab of the laptop because it displays from another computer, which in my case was my Mac. The screen seems to be display properly, so the image of screengrab below but for some reason, it displays a mirror - image his as an overlay on the screen.

    The inverter would be defective?

Hi, this problem has been resolved by me, I just bit the bullet and took a gamble on the screen being faulty and successor, the laptop works very well and is displayed correctly.

    I replaced it with one of them: 15.6 "AUO / to THE Optronics B156XW04 V.1 V.2 V.3, V.4, V.5 screen LED Slim

  • Satellite C660D (PSC1YE) black screen after BIOS update

I tried to update my Bios on my Satellite C660D portable (psc1YE) last week (big mistake).

Something went wrong during the update and now when I power on I just get a black screen (LEDS and fan).

After reviewing, the conclusion is that I damaged the BIOS that must now be blind flashed.
So I got the hand on a 512MB memory stick, formatted using FAT through windows XP and used Wincris to create a startup disk after you have added the file bios.rom (renamed Bios.wph) which I extracted the last update of the BIOS on the Toshiba site.

My memory stick has three visible files on it, Phlash16.exe, bios.wph and minidos.
I plug laptop with battery, DVD player and power disconnected to stick, and hold Fn + B re-connection cable cable, turn it on.

The fan whirs at full speed, and the USB lights up and flashes then for a minute, as if being read. No matter how long I let on, the fan will continue whirring and the USB is on and when I unplug and put in still works a black screen.

I tried different sticks, (up to 4 GB with FAT32 format), programs of different startup (for example, the HP utility) drive but still no luck.

Can someone tell me what I do wrong? I tried to look for a newer version of Phlash16 just in case that was the problem, but can not find one any where (mine is version 2008)

All advice would be greatly appreciated even if it's just to tell me that I'm wasting my time because the pc is not repairable.

I can't tell you if you waste your time or not because I n know if the motherboard ROM module is OK or not

In most cases, it should be possible to reflash the ROM module using the BIOS crisis disk but this disc is available to authorized Toshiba service technicians and as much as I know reflash this methods is not always the same

However, in some cases it might be possible that the mobo could not be fixed by disk crisis, it would be the worst case

I recommend you to contact a certified maintainer Toshiba to check guys would be able to use the crisis disk and could test whether its possible to reflash the module ROM
Is it not would be not possible well in this case you would need new motherboard :(
But lets hope do ' t you need...

  • Please help with replacing the W700 screen

I'm at the end of my mind here, so I really hope that someone can help you. First of all, some background: I work for my part, repair and maintenance of computers, and I have a client with a Lenovo W700 requiring a new screen. The original had been broken.

Seemed easy enough, so I ordered a so-called compatible more than a month. I installed it and it did not work. I sent a replacement. The replacement does not work either. I thought at this point, that a genuine part of Lenovo would be better than a "compatible" by someone else. I went on eBay and found the original part.

It does not, almost - but the backlight does not come on. I can vaguely see what is on the screen, but that's all. I sent a replacement, but the replacement has the same question. But here's the kicker: the original BROKEN screen backlight works normally.

What happens here? Y at - it a setting I missed, some rider, I need to clear, or is it possible there is something wrong with the machine? I need a definitive answer for my client, but here, I'm stumped.

I can't really diagnose of 3000 miles away, but you can certainly damage the motherboard by breaking the screen. It is more likely with the screens LED backlight, but it is possible with a CCFL display like yours. There is usually 2 fuses (F7 and F8) that control the backlight. I don't have a motherboard of w700 to look at for more information. On most machines, they are on top of the room near the connection of the LCD screen. You can have one or two blown fuses. Most of the shops don't want to or cannot replace the fuses. You need good equipment. It is not a job for an iron solder 'Radio Shack'. Unfortunately, you can watch replacement motherboard, which is a big problem for this model.
