  I see a lot of discussion around this issue, but nothing that was exactly my scenario.

  FWIW, I installed the one I mentioned in the original post. It is plug-and-play and worked like a charm.

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP ENVY 15-j012la Notebook and problems with it does not not with a Windows 10 update. Try perform a reset.

  When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

  It should continue where it left off.

How can I go on cloning of the HDD to the SSD and installing the SSD on my HP, implementation of the operating system in order to ensure a good performance?   You need a bootable media because you cannot clone Windows player while it is in use. If you start another source (bootable support) leaving the main hard drive passive and quiet, so it can be copied sector to the new clean disk. I explained you start from the Acronis Disk and when the interface is in place you select "utility" and one of them is 'clone disk '. This is how you use the bootable disc in the cloning process.

  As with the post before me you simply remove the MSSD. However, in this case the user would do a clean install. Cloning will be hover over the driver of storage for the SSD controller and will not have to load the RAID driver separately. The way you do it is much easier.  I would like to dissociate the WSSD since the main hard drive using Intel Rapid Storage (disable acceleration), remove the WSSD and start-up of the former hard drive without the WSSD in place one or two times before cloning.

  The NVIDIA 720 is a video card very low end.  You might be better to use the NVIDIA GT 730 for $79.

  I installed Windows 8.1 to see that I really really need to use for college courses and my teaching, the program will not work on the OS.  The site of the program informs me that the only way to solve the problem is to uninstall Windows 8.1 and use Windows 8

  As my recovery disk manager is deleted I can't find a way to restore the laptop provided with the OS Windows 8.

  I can't find anything on the site of HP to allow me to buy recovery disks.  Web site that Hp sent me to does not have the drivers for my laptop.  Can someone help me?

  If this page does not display the windows 10 when you open it, then click Edit and select Windows 10 in the menu drop-down.

  Unfortunately, the Win10 GoBack function is NOT reliable, and that can leave you with a corrupt machine that will require the factory reset and lose all that on it, to get it working again.
  
  You can avoid this by making an image backup to an external hard drive or a USB drive using Macrium reflect (MR), which provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.
  
  What I recommend is the following:
  (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
  (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
  (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key
  
  NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.

  I understand that you want to know if your computer supports a SSD m2. When I checked the HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC and Maintenance of PC portable HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 and Service of Guide , it has no mention of an SSD of m2. Please note page 5, SSDS.

  I've just killed my machine from Windows 8.1 stock that came with Windows 7 Pro x 64. I was able to install all the necessary drivers and software located on this page, except for one.

• TouchSmart HP Envy 15-J104sa memory card reader does not

  I took delivery of a HP Touchsmart from Envy 15 - J104sa, running Windows 8.1 this week and the internal memory card reader does not work. It does not recognize SD cards (I tried more than one) and continues as if nothing has been inserted; Don't display an error message. The cards work on my previous HP laptop. The only way to get the laptop to show an inserted SD card is to run the driver software update (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63001-63500/sp63415.exe) whenever an SD card is inserted; This must be done with the card in the reader. If the software is running and then the card nothing happens. If the card is ejected and then re-inserted (or a new card inserted) it is not recognized and the process must be restarted and the driver reinstalled even though nothing has changed.

  Can someone please help me with this question or I'll have to go back to the HP laptop. I do a lot of photography so being able to read fast and reliable SD card is extremely important for me; It is not a problem, I was expecting a new laptop all right out of the box.

  Unfortunately not, updates of driver solves the problem, but an update of the BIOS through the HP helper application seems to have resolved the issue. While I appreciate there were not specific drivers available in my opinion, it is difficult to accept that HP should be able to release a model where they know the equipment are not fully supported by the operating system and in this case does not work.

  I don't have any audio system after that I have reset my laptop and restored my personal files.  In the computer system, it showed that I have not IDT High Definition Audio CODEC cannot install or find the driver software online (with a yellow sign).  Can you please give me a solution to fix and if not on IDT, please provide me with any other information to fix it.
