  Seems to my laptop was bricked during the BIOS update.
  I searched the web for hours, looking for a solution with no result.
  I hope I can get help here.

  INFORMATION SYSTEM (At the time of update/being in bricks)
  Model : HP Envy Sleekbook 6-1019NR
  Start-up : internal hard drive as primary
  OS : newly installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
  Pilot : all drivers have been updated from the HP website.
  Note : hard disk has been whipped clean (formatted) everything (including the HP files pre-installed) and repartitioned in to a single partition since day 1.  Even with all the changes to the hardrive, it worked fine.

  State of PLAY (After the BIOS SP60727. EXE update from the HP website)
  1. laptop powers
  2. the light stays on
  3 Caplock light has two long flashes
  4. fan works
  5. the screen remains off (no display of any kind at any time when laptop is turned on)

  USB TESTING (Another HP laptop in good health during the tests, battery and power cord were not disconnected)
  Model : HP Envy 14-2000
  Boot : USB as primary
  OS : newly installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
  Pilot : all drivers have been updated from the HP website.
  Note : hard disk has been whipped clean (formatted) everything (including the HP files pre-installed) and repartitioned in to a single partition since day 1.  Even with all the changes to the hardrive, everything works fine.
  1. bootable USB BACK was made with "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool"
  2. downloaded "" SP60715. "» "EXE" from the HP Web site (even as it is installed)
  3. using 7 - Zip, file '03385.fd' has been extracted from "" SP60715. "» EXE ".
  4. '03385.fd' file has been saved to USB
  5 USB is connected to the laptop
  6. when turned on without having any pressure on the buttons, BACK loading with '03385.fd' in the folder root when the "DIR" command was used.
  7 and now the 'Windows' + 'B' button > switch on/off

  screen stays off

  power light stays on

  WiFi stays on (orange)

  Caps lock flashes in the meantime a flashing continuously

  USB flashing in an interval long continuous flashing

  Laptop was in this State for 30 + minutes with out any changes

  Has been turned off manually, USB has been removed, power has been repressed manually.

  (Fingers crossed that I don't have just F #& K another computer LAPTOP)

  Laptop started right windows, looked just as before the test system.

  Could not say if this trial did nothing at all, but I guess if reinstalling the BIOS has been made successfully, this is what it should be?

  USB FINAL PREPARATION

  Note : battery and power cord was unplugged, power duraining in now the power button for 30 + dry before plugging the power cord was made every time for all of the following
  1. the CCMOS reset unplug and plug back the CMOS battery for 5 + mins
  2. the cord connecting > keeping 'Windows' + 'B' button > switch on/off
  3. 'Windows' + 'B' holding down > connecting the power supply cord > turn
  4 while now the 'Windows' + 'B' button > plugging the power cord > power on/off (hold the power button down for 5 seconds)
  5 connected USB bootable BACK > keeping 'Windows' + 'B' button > plugging the power cord > turn
  6 connected USB bootable BACK > keeping 'Windows' + 'B' button > plugging the power cord > power on/off (hold the power button down for 5 seconds)

  I missed or not doing something correctly?

  I've done some research more and right now, that's how I've got.

  1 USB has been named as HP_TOOLS

  2 within the USB, directories must be performed as Hewlett-Packard/BIOS/current

  3. in the "Assets" folder, I have files '018DE.bin' and '018DE.sig '.  These files were backup of the original HP HP_TOOLS within this portable partition before I deleted.

  RESULT : Laptop load screen of the BIOS update, but the update will fail with the note saying "BIOS recovery system has no" 'could not open the BIOS image file.

  Any ieads on that?

  I did some research more and was able to put the pieces together to get this problem solved my self.

  Laptop is now running.  Yay!

  How to change the location of the certificate .p12 under the tab "Configuration"?

  This is caused by a bug in the 1.5.0 packaging Android tools.  To resolve the problem, upgrade to version 1.5.2 .

  The PlayBook and BlackBerry OS 10 have different architectures; you have to build a unique BAR file for each platform.

  Any video card which is PCI Express 3.0 x 16 will work with your computer.  The video slot is a PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0).  You must ensure that the card insert in the space provided.  This can be done by measuring the back plate of e/s in front of the computer.  Also, you should check the power of the power supply unit (PSU) that is required.  The power supply of your computer is 460W.  The power supply must have at least more than the card requires 100W.  I love EVGA cards.  If you decide to buy one of their cards, you can contact their Technical Support (1-888-881-3842) to help choose the best card for your system.

  Sorry, but you operate in a misunderstanding.  Your PC is a laptop computer and, unlike desktop computers, it uses no graphics "cards".

  Instead, it uses graphics 'modules' - and what makes these different, is that they involve the graphics chip is soldered to the system board.  This means that you will need to disassemble the entire PC to replace the motherboard just to change the graphics chip.

  This would have to do to an HP Service Center - which means that it will cost you easily several hundred dollars, maybe more replacement laptop in its entirety!

  Tonight, when I loaded my browser, all of my web pages came without any background color-mainly just text on the same background of system default color for all pages, that's fine for a few pages simple, cause they load more quickly, but other pages such as Facebook for example, losing a part of the graphics page and it's not good! I don't know how it happened - all my pages goes a little 'text only' (not totally - pictures of first plan to charge), and I don't know how to change it back - please help! I use 3.5.15 on a P4 Tower.

  I have a HP Envy Rove 20 ks001 which has an i3 with Intel HD graphics card (I think it's the 4400 model).

  I believe not this product is obsolete, but HP did not provide an update of the graphics driver for Windows 10.

  If I look at this Intel site, I see that there is a fresh driver updates but I can't use them because my product drivers are managed by HP. If I try to install these drivers, I get a message sying that I have to contact the manufacturer for driver updates.

  How can I use the latest drivers from Intel? I know that the latest drivers on this graphics card offers significant improvements in performance.

  The question is: How can I use the Intel drivers published by Intel?

  You can ignore the oem restrictions by manually install the Intel graphics drivers as follows.

  First, download the latest version of the Intel HD4400 driver for your laptop on the link below and Save it in your downloads folder - you need the second option (IE win64_154028.4501.zip ).

  Once complete, download and install the .64bit version of 7 - Zip on the link below.

  http://www.7-zip.org/

  When you have installed 7 - Zip, open your downloads folder, right-click on the win64_154028.4501.zip package, select 7 - Zip, select extract files and then click Ok.

  Cut this folder newly extracted and paste it on your desktop, so it is easy to find.

  When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

  In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  In Device Manager, expand adapters, right-click on the Intel 4400 device and select "Update Driver Software".

  In the next window, select "my computer for software driver Browser", then "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  In the next window, click on the 'Disk' button and browse to the extracted file win64_154028.4501 you pasted on your desktop.

  Navigate the graphics subfolder, left click on the file igdlh64. INF to highlight, and then click Open.

  Click 'Ok' and then click 'Next' and wait for the driver to install.

  One when you're done, click on 'Close' and then click 'Yes' to reboot the PC.

  The other day, I bought a game from Roxio cap for my Xbox 360 and I am not able to run the software for him because he needs DirectX 9.0 c graphics that I have virtually no knowledge of. So it's pretty simple, but I'm looking for a simple cheap graphics card that supports the HDMI and DirectX 9 .0c or higher (preferably much larger if possible). I am running an HP Pavilion a4317c, which is located here. It's just how 5 years ago with no new hardware or operating system. As I said, I just need a cheap card base which would be conducive to what I'm looking for and would be installed for my system. I may also need a sound card, but I'm not sure. The specifications of the product are found here if anyone needs more information.

  There is a single location for a regular full size SATA HDD. However, you can add a hard drive giving the DVD drive and use of an adapter. Or, there is a slot on the motherboard to a hard drive of the MSSD m2 but installing a drive it takes serious disassembly.

  It is a version of the motherboard with 850M 4 gigabytes video but to get it, you will need to find one of these motherboards and replace it for you. Once again, a very difficult and costly process.
